직류 전계 인가에 따른 절연유의 전하 축적 및 완화 현상에 관한 연구 (A Study on charge accumulation and relaxation phenomena by D.C energization in insulating oil)

  • This phenomena of streaming-electrification is generated between solid and liquid boundary called electric double-layer which is generated by potential difference. A charge separation at interfaces between a moving fluid and a solid boundary can give rise to the generation of substantial electric field and at last these can give rise ta insulating failure. Therefore injection of the adverse-charge in streaming-electrified insulating oil to eliminate the accumulation charge and its related phenomena was investigated.

점성토의 전기삼투 배수와 Zeta Potential의 상관성 (Relationship between Electroosmotic Drainage and Zeta Potential of Clayey Soils)

  • 본 연구에서는 전기삼투 배수와 제타포텐셜과 상관성을 규명하고자 하였다. 실험으로 직경 10cm, 길이 16cm의 원형 압밀시료에 일정 전압경사법으로 1V/cm의 직류접압을 가하여 0, 500, 3000 ppm의 납농도와 0, 230, 2300, 23000 ppm의 염분농도에서 각각 12일 과 14일 동안 전지삼투 배수량을 측정하였고, 같은 농도에서 kaolinite 현탁액의 제타포텐셜을 pH2부터 14범위에서 측정하였다. 실험결과 제타포텐셜은 전해질 농도와 pH 변화에 의존적이고, 전기삼투 투수계수와 비례관계가 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 제타포텐셜에 따른 전기삼투 배수량과 비교한 결과, 전해질 농도가 낮을수록 제타포텐셜은 음의 값은 크고, 전기삼투 배수량도 더 증가하였다.

Ag 편광-광도핑에 의한 칼코게나이드 박막의 광유기 복굴절 (The photoinduced birefringence of chalcogenide thin film by the Ag Polarized-Photodoping)

  • In this study, we observed the photoinduced birefringence of Ag polarized-photodoping in chalcogenide thin film and the double-layer of Ag doped chalcogenide thin film using the irradiation with the polarized He-Ne laser light. The photoinduced birefringence of Ag polarized-photodoping results in increasing the sensitivity of linearly anisotropy intensity and birefringence(${\Delta}n$). The Ag polarized-photodoping shows improvement of the photoinduced anisotropy property, in polarized photodoping of the chalcogenide thin film. It will offer lots of information for the photodoping mechanism and analysis of chalcogenide thin film.

Effects of pore structures on electrochemical behaviors of polyacrylonitrile-based activated carbon nanofibers by carbon dioxide activation

  • Activated carbon nanofibers (ACNF) were prepared from polyacrylonitrile (PAN)-based nanofibers using $CO_2$ activation methods with varying activation process times. The surface and structural characteristics of the ACNF were observed by scanning electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction, respectively. $N_2$ adsorption isotherm characteristics at 77 K were confirmed by Brunauer-Emmett-Teller and Dubinin-Radushkevich equations. As experimental results, many holes or cavernous structures were found on the fiber surfaces after the $CO_2$ activation as confirmed by scanning electron microscopy analysis. Specific surface areas and pore volumes of the prepared ACNFs were enhanced within a range of 10 to 30 min of activation times. Performance of the porous PAN-based nanofibers as an electrode for electrical double layer capacitors was evaluated in terms of the activation conditions.

  • In this outline, the stability of solid/liquid dispersion was theoretically investigated the matter from all angles by using the modified DLVO theory. The stability was handled various considerations such as a production and characteristics of electrical double layer, total interaction$(V_T)$ that consisting of attractive force$(V_A)$ and repulsion$(V_R)$. coagulation, the stability ratio(W), critical flocculation concentration (cfc) and zeta potential$(\zeta)$ etc. It was possible for us to examine with the stability ratio(W), critical flocculation concentration (cfc) and zeta potential$(\zeta)$ that may estimation of stability of solid/liquid dispersion experimentally.

  • There are electric double layer capacitance, polarization resistance and solution resistance in the interface between electrode and solution. Electrode process could be evaluated by the electrical impedance analysis. The necessities of the electrochemical cell analysis with high speed impedance analyzer are followings: minimization of the effects of electric stimulation on electrochemical cell and the concentration of reactive materials, and optimization of impedance signal resolution. This paper represents the design criteria for the selection and stimulation to develop fast impedance analyzer prototype for a electrochemical cell. It was suggested that the design of 470k sample/s sampling rate, 13 bit ABC resolution, and 140ms recording time is required for high speed impedance analysis system in frequency range between dc and 10kHz.

  • In this paper, the inductive power transformer using electromagnetic induction for the road/railway applied to contactless power transfer system is suggested and some ideas for power collector design to improve the power transfer performance are presented. The proposed the inductive power transformer is used for the light railway/road transportation system. which has a large air-gap and demands a large electrical power capability. But. low output power is generated due to a loosely coupled characteristic of the large air-gap. Therefore, double layer construction of secondary winding, which was divided in half to increase both output current and output voltage was suggested. In addition, the performance of inductive power transformer to alignment condition between the primary power line and the inductive power transformer was verified by computer simulation of 2kW model.

  • To fabricate uniform and reliable thin gold stripes that provide low-loss optical waveguides, we developed a novel liftoff process placing an additional $SiN_x$ layer under conventional photoresists. By patterning a photoresist and over-etching the $SiN_x$, the photoresist patterns become free-standing structures on a lower-cladding. This leads to uniform metal stripes with good reproducibility and effectively removes parasitic structures on the edge of the metal stripe in the image reversal photolithography process. By applying the newly developed process to polymer-based gold stripe waveguide fabrication, we improved the propagation losses about two times compared with that incurred by the conventional image-reversal process.

  • Planarization in multilevel metallization is very important to smooth out topographic undulations by conductors, dielectrics, contacts, and vias. One of methods for planarizing interdielectrics, such as the etchback process of the double layer composed of the photoresist on the interdielectric low temperature oxide was introduced. The step heights of interdielectrics before and after etch-back process was measured by Scanning Electron Microscope, and the degree of planarization was analyzed, comparing the differences of the step heights. In this experiment, the degree of planarization was controlled up to about 0.9.

  • 본 연구에서는 P-type Si wafer에 1000[$^{\circ}C$]의 조건에서 열산화방식으로 성장시킨 산화막($SiO_2$) 두께 3000[${\AA}$] 그 위에 APCVD방법으로 형성시킨 질화막($Si_3N_4$)의 두께 500[${\AA}$], 1500[${\AA}$]인 시료에 대하여 전기적 특징 중 유전정접 특성에 관하여 조사하였다. [1] 또한 각각의 두께에 대하여 측정 온도범위 상온${\sim}150[^{\circ}C]$ 와 인가전압 범위 1[V]${\sim}$20[V]에서 유전정접의 주파수 의존성과 온도 의존특성을 조사하고 특히 정전용량 변화에 따른 유전특성에 대하여 조사하고 변환기 소자재료 개발을 위한 기초물성을 실험한 결과를 보고한다.
