  • We have synthesized novel Diphenoquinone(DQ) derivatives. Electron drift mobility of DQ series was measured and electron affinity$(E_a)$ of them is estimated 3.7~3.9eV by CV. Electron drift mobility$(\mu)$ of electric field dependence by time of flight(TOF) technique is $1.76{\times}10^{-5}cm^2/V{\cdot}s$(DQ5) at the concentration of 10wt% verse poly(4,4'-cyclohexylidene diphenylcarbonate)(Pc-Z) and $1.66{\times}10^6V/cm$.

  • The electric characteristics of semiconductor materials can be found by way of various methods, of which the measurement of the carrier mobility is thought to be of great importance. There exist some mobilty measurements, but the measurement based on Hall effect is the most widely uesd. In this paper is adopted the mobility measurement of semiconductor by the use of cylindrical eavity operated in the same shape as TE modes. It is hoped that the resultant values of measurement, the structure of measurement circut, cavity design and the raising of relevant problems may give much help to those who may interested in this field.

  • 관벽온도에 따른 형광램프 양광주 내의 전자이동도 변화를 계산하였다. 전자분포 함수는 2 Electron Group Model을 사용하였다. 또한 이를 검증하기 위하여, 38mm 20W 형광램프 양광주 내의 전자이동도를 관벽온도를 변화시키면서 측정하였다. 측정방법으로는 양광주 내의 전계를 구하기 위하여 양극 및 음극 강하전압의 합을 15V로 가정하였으며 2중 슬릿을 사용하여 양광주의 길이를 측정하였다. 관벽온도를 $10-18^{\circ}C$로 변화시키며 계산하고 측정한 결과를 표시하였다.

  • Electrophoretic displays (EPDs) are attracting considerable attentions as a paper-like display. Especially, Electrophoretic cell consists of micron-sized, charged particles dispersed in a viscous fluid. When an external electric field is applied, the charged particles move with a speed proportional to the particle mobility and the local field strength. In electrophoretic displays fast switching times are required, so knowing the particle mobility is very important. In this paper, we study a novel simulation for calculating the particle motions submerged in a viscous fluid for horizontal switching electrophoretic cell.

The Field Modulation Effect of a Fluoride Plasma Treatment on the Blocking Characteristics of AlGaN/GaN High Electron Mobility Transistors

  • We designed and fabricated aluminium gallium nitride (AlGaN)/GaN high electron mobility transistors (HEMTs) with stable reverse blocking characteristics established by employing a selective fluoride plasma treatment on the drainside gate edge region where the electric field is concentrated. Implanted fluoride ions caused a depolarization in the AlGaN layer and introduced an extra depletion region. The overall contour of the depletion region was expanded along the drift region. The expanded depletion region distributed the field more uniformly and reduced the field intensity peak. Through this field modulation, the leakage current was reduced to 9.3 nA and the breakdown voltage ($V_{BR}$) improved from 900 V to 1,400 V.

Analysis of Success Factors of Electric Scooter Sharing Service Using User Review Text Mining

  • This study aims to analyze service improvement and success factors of electric scooter sharing service companies by using text mining after collecting reviews of shared electric scooter service applications among various models of sharing economy. In this study, the factors of satisfaction and dissatisfaction of service users were identified using the term frequency inverse document frequency (TF-IDF) technique, and topics for each keyword were extracted using the Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) Topic Modeling technique. According to the analysis results, the main topics were entertainment, safety, service area, application complaints, use complaints, convenience, and mobility. Using the analysis results of this study, employees and researchers of electric scooter sharing service companies will be able to contribute to the improvement and success of related services.

전동 스쿠터를 위한 DGPS 기반의 위치 추정 및 반 자율 주행 시스템 개발 (Development of a DGPS-Based Localization and Semi-Autonomous Path Following System for Electric Scooters)

  • More and more elderly and disabled people are using electric scooters instead of electric wheelchairs because of higher mobility. However, people with high levels of impairment or the elderly still have difficulties in driving the electric scooters safely. Semi-autonomous electric scooter system is one of the solutions for the safety: Either manual driving or autonomous driving can be used selectively. In this paper, we implement a semi-autonomous electric scooter system with functions of localization and path following. In order to recognize the pose of electric scooter in outdoor environments, we design an outdoor localization system based on the extended Kalman filter using DGPS (Differential Global Positioning System) and wheel encoders. We added an accelerometer to make the localization system adaptable to road condition. Also we propose a path following algorithm using two arcs with current pose of the electric scooter and a given path in the map. Simulation results are described to show that the proposed algorithms provide the ability to drive an electric scooter semi-autonomously. Finally, we conduct outdoor experiments to reveal the practicality of the proposed system.

  • EDTA contained in decontamination wastes can cause complexation of radioactive captions resulting from its various treatment process such as chemical precipitation, and ion exchange etc. It might also import for elevated teachability and higher mobility of cationic contaminants from conditioned wastes such as waste immobilized in cement or other matrices. 미래 모빌리티 체계 변화 예측 및 서비스 방향 연구 (A Research on Forecasting Change and Service Direction for the Future Mobility System)

  • 제조업 중심의 기존 모빌리티 시스템은 지속가능한 발전에 대한 시대적·사회적 요구에 힘입어 전기화·공유화·자율화로 대변되는 미래 모빌리티 시스템을 중심으로 재편되고 있으며, IT 기술 발전에 힘입어 교통수단 혁신의 변화는 가속화될 전망이다. 이에 본 연구는 미래 모빌리티 체계 변화에 대한 방향성을 예측하고자 미래 모빌리티 전문가들(N=23)을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 설문조사를 통해 공유모빌리티, 자율주행자동차, 전기자동차, 통합교통서비스 등 4가지 미래 모빌리티 수단 및 서비스에 대한 영향력 및 변화정도를 측정한 후 이를 IPA(Importance Performance Analysis) 분석을 통해 확인하였다. 분석결과 공유모빌리티가 미래 모빌리티 시스템의 핵심요인으로 선정되었다. 또한, 미래 모빌리티 서비스 제공 방향성 탐색을 위해 8가지 서비스 요인(안전성, 친환경성, 심미성, 편의성, 정시성, 접근성, 수요응답성, 개인이동성)에 대한 AHP(Analytic Hierarchical Process) 분석을 실시하였으며, 그 결과 '안전성' 요인이 미래 모빌리티 서비스에서 가장 중요한 요인으로 평가되었다. 본 연구의 결과가 미래 모빌리티 체계 변화에 대응하는 정책 및 서비스 방향을 설계하기 위한 기초자료로 활용되기를 기대한다.

  • An engineering goal in vibration and noise professionals is to develope quiet machines at the preliminary design stage, and various numerical techniques such as FEM, SEA or BEM are one of the schemes toward the goal. In this paper, the research has been focused on the sensitivity effect of mesh sizes for FEM application so that the optimum size of the mesh that leads to engineering solution within acceptable computing time could be generated. In order to evaluate the mesh size effect, three important parameters have been examined : natural frequencies, number of modes and driving point mobility. First, several lower modes including the fundamental frequency of a 2-D plate structure have been calculated as mesh size changes. Since theoretical values of natural frequencies for a simple structure are known, the deviation between the numerical and theoretical values is obtained as a function of mesh size. The result shows that the error is no longer decreased if the mesh size becomes a quarter wavelength or smaller than that. Second, the mesh size effect is also investigated for the number of modes. For the frequency band up to 1.4 kHz, the structure should have 38 modes in total. As the mesh size reaches to the quarter wavelength, the total count in modes approaches to the same values. Third, a mobility function at the driving point is compared between SEA and FEM result. In SEA application, the mobility function is determined by the modal density and the mass of the structure. It is independent of excitation frequencies. When the mobility function is calculated from a wavelength to one-tenth of it, the mobility becomes constant if the mesh becomes a quarter wavelength or smaller. We can conclude that dynamic parameters, such as eigenvalues, mode count, and mobility function, can be correctly estimated, while saving the computing burden, if a quarter wavelength (.lambda./4) mesh is used. Therefore, (.lambda./4) mesh is recommended in structural vibration analysis.
