Mineral oil is the most widely used for electrical transformer, though some factors should be considered such as their environmentally harmfulness when it spill and low flash point. To cover these disadvantages, vegetable oil has developed because of its high biodegradability and thermal stability. However, it is necessary that many studies should conduct to reveal the detailed impacts of long-term operation as transformer oil. In this paper, we applied the accelerated aging test which simulate the real transformer circumstances using insulation paper, coil, steel at $150^{\circ}C$, which is higher than normal operation, for 2 weeks. To figure out the oxidation characteristics between mineral oil and vegetable oil test major properties and components such as total acid number, dielectric breakdown and dissolved gas components during that period. As a result of these tests, we found that vegetable oil has higher electric insulation ability than mineral oil though poor total acid number by hydrophile property. Vegetable oil also kept its thermal stability under the given circumstances.

Flux or solder is used in soldering process for manufacturing electronic parts such as printed circuit boards (PCB). After soldering process, residual flux and solder paste on the parts should be removed since their residuals could cause performance degradation or failure of parts due to their corrosion and electric leakage. Ozone depletion substances such as 1,1,1- trichloroethane (TCE) and HCFC-141b have widely been using for removal of residual flux and solder paste after soldering process In manufacturing of electronic parts until now. In this study, non-aqueous cleaning agents without flash point were developed and applied to industrial field for replacement of cleaning agents with ozone depletion. In order to develop non-aqueous cleaning agents without ethers, esters, fluoride- type solvents. And their physical properties and cleaning abilities were evaluated, and they were applied to industrial fields for cleaning of flux and solder on the PCB. And vacuum distillation apparatus were operated to determine their operating conditions and recycling yields for recycling of used cleaning agents formulated in this study. As a result of physical properties measurement of our formulated cleaning agents, they were expected to have good wetting and penetrating power since their surface tensions were relatively low as 18.0~20.4 dyne/$cm^2$ and their wetting indices are relatively large. And some cleaning agents holding fluoride-type solvents as their components did not have any flash point and they seemed to be safe in their handling and storage. The cleaning experimental results showed that some cleaning agents were better in their cleaning of flux and solder paste than 1,1,1-TCE and HCFC-141b. And industrial application results of the formulated cleaning agents for cleaning PCB indicated that they can be applicable to industry due to their good cleaning capability in comparison with HCFC-141b. The recycling experiments of the used formulated cleaning agents through a vacuum distillation apparatus also showed that their 91.9~97.5% could be recycled with its proper operating conditions.

In recent years, there are a number of studies that have been carried out to explore the alternative for Mineral Oil (MO) as dielectric insulating fluid in transformers due to the increasing tight regulation on safety and environment. Vegetable oils have been identified as suitable candidate since it is biodegradable, non-toxic and high flash/fire points which ensure more in-service safety. Among the types of vegetable oils considered for transformers application are Palm Oil (PO) and Coconut Oil (CO). This paper presents an experimental study on the lightning breakdown voltages of PO and CO under non-uniform electric field based on needle-sphere electrodes configuration at 3 small gap distances. The type of PO used in this study is Refined Bleached and Deodorized Palm Oil (RBDPO) Olein. The main focus of this study is to examine the lightning breakdown performance of RBDPO and CO under different test conditions and assess its suitability as dielectric insulating fluid in transformers. The effect of voltage polarities (positive and negative) and testing methods (rising-voltage, up-and-down and multiple-voltage) were investigated. The data obtained from all tests were analysed by Weibull distribution in order to determine the withstand voltages for each type of oils. It was found that the breakdown voltages of RBDPO and CO are comparable with MO under positive lightning impulse. Under negative lightning impulse, the breakdown voltage of MO is slightly higher than RBDPO and CO. There is no significant effect of testing methods and voltage polarities on lightning breakdown voltages of RBDPO and CO. Based on the statistical analysis, it is found that the breakdown voltages of RBDPO and CO at 1% probability are slightly lower than MO.

Recently, the infrastructure to be connected to the internet is much provided, there is more and more need to connect electric or electronic products to the internet to monitor or control them remotely. However, most of the existing products lack the network interface, so it was very inconvenient to be connected to the internet. Therefore, this article designs and realizes the internet outlet allowing real-time scheduling that can control the power remotely on the internet by using the hardware TCP/IP processor. The realized product consumes low production cost because it can be realized by using the hardware TCP/IP processor and the 8-bit small microprocessor. In addition, the product can be used widely in both wired and wireless environments with a variety of user interface, including the dedicated control program which provides the environment configuration functions; embedded web service that enables the webpage to be saved on the external flash memory; Android smartphone application; motion recognition control environment that uses the OpenCV computer vision library, etc.

Program and erase characteristics of the elliptic gate all around (e-GAA) SONOS cell have been studied as the variation of eccentricity of the channel. An analytic program and erase model for the elliptic GAA SONOS cell is proposed and evaluated. The model shows that the ISPP (incremental-step-pulse programming) property is changed non-linearly as the eccentricity of the e-GAA SONOS cell is increased. It is differently from the well known linear relationship for that of 2D SONOS and even 3D circular SONOS cell with program bias. We can find that the simulation results of ISPP characteristics are in accord with the experimental data.
Accurate radiation dosimetric characters is very important to determine of dose to a radiotherapeutic patient. Medical linear accelerators have been developed not only its new quality of convenient operation but also electric moderation. It is reliable to measure more detail physical parameter that linac's internal ability. Typically, radiation dosimetric tool is classified ionization chamber, film, thermoluminescence dosimeter, etc. Nowaday, Electronic Portal Imaging Device is smeared in radiation field to verification of treatment region. EPID's image was focused that using both on-line image verification and absolutely minimum absorbed dose during radiotherapy. So, Electronic Portal Imaging was tested for quality evaluation of medical linear accelerator had its pure conditional flash. This study has performed symmetry, Light/Radiation field congruence, and energy check, geometry difference on wedge filter using a liquid filled ion chamber (EPID). Prior to irradiated on EPID, high energy photon beam is checked with ion chamber. Using these results more convenient dosimetric method is accomplished by EPID that taken digital image. Medical image is acquired with EPID too. Therefore, EPID can be analyzed by numerical information for what want to see or get more knowledge for natural human condition.
This paper presents the detailed statistics on radiation field signatures associated with multiple-intracloud lightning discharges. A transient signal recording system was used to measure the electric and magnetic fields produced by lightning flashes. The measurements were made in th summers of 1995 through 1999, and the location of the observation station was in Inchon on the coast of the Yellow Sea in Korea(37$^{\circ}$25'N, 126$^{\circ}$ 39'E). Most of lightning flashes typically contains between two and five strokes. The individual intracloud stork radiation fields were the bipolar pulse. On the average, the ratio of the peak of the second stroke to the first stroke peak was 75.1$\pm$40.1% for the negative, and a fraction of the subsequent stroke peaks were higher than the first stroke peak. The greater the number of the subsequent stroke order, less time separations between strokes were produced. The mean of the depth of the dip was 81.2$\pm$27.9% for the positive polarity and 75.9$\pm$24.4% for the negative. The depth of the dip increased for the positive bipolar pulses and decreased for the negative as the number of the stroke order increased.
This paper presents MIDAS (Media Interaction Design Authoring System), an authoring toolkit for designers and artists to develop working prototypes in new interaction design projects. Field research were conducted to identify the requirements and a case study of designing new interactive products was carried out to examine the feasibility of the new tool. MIDAS provides easier ways of integrating hardware and software, to manage a wide range of electric input and output elements and to employ 3D Augmented Reality technology within conventional multimedia authoring tools, such as Director and Flash, which are popularly used by designers. MIDAS was used in case study projects of design education as well as by voluntary designers for evaluation. From the result of case studies, it was found that many design projects were successfully accomplished using MIDAS. Designers who participated in the projects reported that MIDAS not only helped them to concentrate more on ideation but also was very easy to use as they implemented the physical interface concepts without advanced engineering skills. It is expected that MIDAS can also support prototyping in interactive media an, tangible user interface development and related human computer interaction fields.

The importance of heat dissipation for the electric device modules along the thickness direction is increasing. Two types of two-layered materials, metal-metal bonding and dielectric-metal bonding, have been fabricated by roll bonding process and a thermal diffusivity of the specimens was measured along the thickness direction. The thermal diffusivity of specimens with metal-metal bonding measured by light flash analysis (LFA) showed a same value independent on the direction of heat flow. However, the thermal diffusivity of specimens with dielectric-metal bonding showed a big difference of 17.5% when the direction of heat flow changed oppositely in the LFA process. The measured thermal diffusivity of specimens when the heat flows from metal to dielectric direction showed smaller value of 17.5% compared to the value when the heat flow from dielectric to metal direction. The difference in thermal diffusivity of specimens with dielectric-metal bonding dependence on direction of heat flow is due to the electron-phonon resistance that occurred transfer process of electron energy to phonon energy near the interface.
