전철 급전시스템의 22900/1200V 유입변압기 안전성 분석 (Safety Analysis and Safety Measures of 22900/1200V Oil Immersed Transformer at Power Supply System)

  • Subway is electrified railway system nowadays, in which liquid dielectric transformers have been widely used, though mold type transformers are replacing it. The transformers supplies large electric power and have innate hazards causing accidents under operation. A number of researcher have carried out on failures of it and have oriented to identify transformer's failure causes and how to maintain it healthy state. The transformer failures can cause serious accidents which can provoke economic loss and leads persons to kill. In this paper, we carried out a safety activity to reveal hazards and to estimate risk of subway liquid dielectric transformers using FMEA, HAZOP and What-if methods. In case of installing safety devices in oil immersed transformer, we tried to evaluate an effect on a subsystem's failure rate. We proposed how to design subsystem failure rate and safety device failure rates.

  • 본 논문은 전기철도 추진용 유도전동기 최적 설계에 관한 논문이다. 먼저 유도전동기의 등가회로 특성을 이용한 기초 설계 프로세스를 통해 기본 모델을 산정하여 목표 성능을 만족하도록 하였다. 그리고 회전자 슬롯수 및 공극 길이를 토크, 토크 리플, 효율, 역률 특성을 비교 분석하여 결정하였다. 그 다음으로 반응표면법을 이용하여 회전자 슬롯 형상을 최적화하였다. 최종적으로 이러한 과정으로 도출한 최종모델이 등가회로와 유한요소해석 결과를 통해 목표 성능을 만족하고 효율이 기본 모델 대비 향상된 것을 확인하였다.

  • We propose an optical-based measuring instrument of catenary system in electric railway. This system was made to utilize line scan camera as inspecting system to measure the stagger and height of overhead contact wire in railway and composed with optical type source and FPGA-based image acquisition system with PCI slot. Vision acquisition software has been used for the application to programming interface for image acquisition, display, and storage with a frequency of sampling. To check the validity of our approach for the intended application, we monitored height and stagger in the overhead wire of a high-speed catenary system in Korea. The proposed optical-based measuring instrument to measure the contact wire geometry such as the hight and stagger shows promising on-field applications for online condition motoring. We expect that a new generation of real-time instruments with demanding various conditions motoring requirement in railway can be easily integrated into optical-based measuring instrument system.

  • The study in railway system to apply a fuel cell system with high efficiency and mobility than other renewable energy is being actively conducted. It is needed a analysis on load characteristics and control method of rolling stock in order to apply to rolling stock. This paper presents study on control small-scale prototype power converter electric railway vehicle using fuel cell generation system. Experiment is conducted through real fuel cell generation system and reference speed applying the driving curve of the actual electric railway vehicle was applied. Also, output voltage of boost converter is controlled considering characteristic of fuel cell. And it was confirmed characteristic according to powering and regeneration of inverter.

  • Each feeding power is transformed 3 phases of KEPCO through SCOTT transformer and operate a electric train in AC Feeding system of electric railway. Nowaday a power conversion system, installed inside the train, generate a harmonics and has a effect on a power quality and it is necessary to install a countermeasures. This report is proposed a new technique to simulate a power system based on frequency model. The result is resonable relatively with a experimental one.

  • The safe operation of electro railways is greatly dependant on its protective systems. The system so-called Fault Protection Wire(FW) is now widely adapted to protect in AT feeding systems. It is connected between the feeder and trolley circuit to return the fault current to autotransfonmers at substation. This paper computed the distribution of fault currents at FW in the system and also evaluated the safety from electric shock when ground fault or flashover occur in the feeding system. The results show FW is useful to protect power supply network from fault in electric railways

  • This paper presents a high performance AC propulsion system for electric car to improve traction capability. The presented VVVF inverter was composed of as GTO thyristor and the the controller was fully digitalized by using 32bit DSP. The improved PWM algorithms and the new adhesion control were adapted to improve traction characteristics. This system could be possible the higher reliability and flexibility. The field test results showed the higher performances characteristics of the presented system.

  • The power consumption pattern of high-speed railway has rarely during night time. But, during service time, the power is consumed irregularly related to train operation. Especially certain unusual about 1-2 days of service time interval to indicate the power consumption is rapidly growing phenomenon, which causes the capacity of the power contract is the annual electricity bill to rise rapidly as the cause. Normally, amount of peak power consumption bill rate at railway substation is over 20% of total electrical bill. Therefore, high-speed railway substation is expected to be considerably larger savings by reducing the peak power of the default charge(demand power).

  • The recent environmental protection trend requires more strict energy saving, therefore every transportation system should reduce energy consumption to the minimum value. High-efficiency operation system, energy saving and CO2 emissions shall be addressed as important issue in railway system. These issues are the most essential factors of railway, compared to major public transportation system. Recently, saving energy in the electric railway system has been studied. For such new energy saving, the Energy storage system is considered for saving energy. Energy saving is possible by efficient use of regenerated energy. Regenerated energy is recycled amongst vehicles by mean of charge and discharge corresponding to powering and braking of electric vehicle operations. This energy saving contributes to cut CO2 to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Recycling regenerated energy demonstrate significant effect on peak cut of consumption energy in railway substation. Absorption of excess energy avoids regeneration failure due to high traction voltage. This paper presents effects by applying the energy storage system to SeoulMetro Line 2.

철도고배 전송선로 분로리액터 설치에 대한 모델링 (A modelling on Shunt Reactors in Railway Power Transmission System)

  • I In power transmission systems, voltage changes continuously as reactive power is whether over supply or shortage. Reactive power produces in generators and consumes in transmission lines, and loads. Voltages at end points of transmission lines rise which is called Ferranti effect. Excessive voltage rising can reduce transmission equipment life, the voltage rising is usually permitted within the limit of 10%~30% excess. Shunt reactors are installed in transmission lines to put a curb on voltage rising. In this paper, we tried to do modelling for shunt reactor configuration types which are no grounding, grounded and grouded neutral reactor. Simulation are carried out for reactor magnitude for compensating transmission line capacitance.
