The analysis on the international safety management code (ISM Code) and case of foreign national safety management for fishing vessel was conducted to serve as a basic data on the introduction of safety management system (SMS) for a deep-sea fishing vessel in Korea. As a result, Maritime New Zealand (MNZ) has managed operations of SMS in the maritime rules according to the Maritime Transport Act since 1994. MNZ underwent a safe ship management (SSM), which includes elements applied to shipping companies, ship and verification of the ISM Code for ships, except ISM Code application since 1998. In 2014 the introduction of the advanced maritime operator safety system (MOSS) superior to the SSM by MNZ was promoted actively switch and enforcement. Meanwhile, the safe operation manual of Japanese fishing vessel includes large part of the contents of the ISM Code, and voluntary implementation to fit the realities of the fishing vessel. The law application of SMS for a deep-sea fishing vessel after the newly establishment of the Ocean Industry Development Act to SMS would be advantageous to the schematic management, supervision, maintenance and application and, in 2016 from the implementation of maritime safety supervisor for a deep-sea fishing vessel that the management and supervision through the fishing vessel will be the efficient operation. The configuration of the safety management system in a deep-sea fishing vessel should be included as an element of ISM Code. The introduction of such a system is gradually applicable, such as nationality overseas vessel case study of the ISM Code, and vessels that are excluded from the application will be implemented as autonomous as Japan. The results are expected to contribute to sustainable development in the ocean industry safety culture spread throughout the ocean industry through the enhancement of safety fishing competency and safety management responsibility of fisher.

This paper is concerned with the study of 'Knowledge Management', a paradigm of thought based on the idea that the future will be a knowledge-centered society. This paper also provides an overview of both 'what to manage' and 'how to manage' if an organization wants to develop in this environment. The process of 'Knowledge Management' begins with a decision. Presented with a myriad of information, of which we can't afford to obtain it all, what information is of value to the organization? Further, by systematically organizing not only the primary information but also that which was accumulated in the process, Knowledge Management is capable of suggesting a value-added plan of action. This research presents the necessary principles needed in order to successfully use Knowledge Management, specifically a harmony between the human and technological aspects. There cannot be a static solution to the problem, as the environment of the enterprise's problem is dynamic in nature. Throughout the process, the enterprise will constantly change its strategy and structure in order to adapt to variable knowledge, technology, strategy, regulations, consumer interest, etc... The essential constant of these problems is the importance of spending on education. Investments in educations help develope a infrastructure for Information Technology, the development of knowledge distribution strategies, and the creation of efficient Knowledge Management policy.

The business is faced with the situation must improve a power in an increasingly competitive environment due to the recent rapid advance in information technology and the opening and expansion of global market, fast technological change, and various customer demand. The rapid change in information technology is having an effect on not only all the processes to develop products, but information contents that is provided for the purpose of customer value, and the appearance of products. In other words, the information technology is being recognized as a very important factor among other factors for companies to enhance their competitiveness. In addition, it is more efficient to focus on key factor to maintain the competitive advantage on the using of information technology by outsourcing information systems, rather than by operating the systems under their own. Since the global financial crisis, the long-term recession has been increasing companies who is ready to adopt outsourcing or adopted already. This study is to understand the environment and unique characteristics of outsourcing services and related industries focusing on information system operation and management in information outsourcing services, and is to set the concept needed through my theory that is connected to the service quality and customer satisfaction. A lot of business wiew the improvement of service quality and ensuring customer satisfaction as the major factors of business growth, and lots of ongoing studies have focused on service management in the Information outsourcing service industry. Yet few studies have ever concentrated on the quality of information system operation management service. This study, moreover, is to define the quality of service related with customer satisfaction from customer's viewpoint, measuring effects on customer satisfaction. The quality of outsourcing service on information system in this study is a great help to companies who are offering information outsourcing service, and company's managers and staffs who outsourcedto specialized company.

This paper suggests to standardize railway accident restoration types as the code and standard operation system for efficient railway accident management. First of all, the damage types of have been carefully analyzed and reclassified. This study suggested the combination of 3 distinct code factors: restoration class, restoration object, and restoration location to standardize them. In addition, this study suggested procedures to make the standard operation system of emergency restoration, defined the worst case of emergency restoration and the important events. Therefore, the standard operation system of emergency restoration is developed. It shall play a major role as the database system for railway accident management, minimum of damage and rapid control of accident.

This paper deals with a closed-loop remanufacturing system with one manufacturer and one remanufacturer. The manufacturer sells new products bearing the 'Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR).' It is assumed that the manufacturer's collection rate of used products depends only on the buy-back cost, while that of the remanufacturer depends on the minimum allowed quality level of used products in addition to the buy-back cost. Through the development of mathematical models with the objective function of maximizing profit, we study an efficient operation policy of each party. The decision variables are the unit selling price of new products and remanufactured products, the unit buy-back cost of the used products of the manufacturer and remanufacturer, and the minimum allowed quality level. The validity of the model is examined through numerical examples and sensitivity analysis.

Sensor application systems for remote monitoring and control are required, such as the establishment of databases and IoT service servers, to process data being transmitted and received through radio communication modules, controllers and gateways. This paper designs and implements database server, IoT service server, data processing middleware and IoT management system for IoT based services based on the controllers, communication modules and gateway middleware platform developed. For this, we firstly define the specification of the data packet and control code for the information classification of the sensor application system, and also design and implement the database as a separate server for data protection and efficient management. In addition, we design and implement the IoT management system so that functions such as status information verification, control and modification of operating environment information of remote sensor application systems are carried out. The implemented system can lead to efficient operation and reduced management costs of sensor application systems through site status analysis, setting operational information, and remote control and management.

The SBA Integrated Information system is constructed and operated for scientific and systematic management of Defense information utilizing whole process of weapon system acquisition from requirement institution to operation maintenance. In order to utilize m&s resources actively and effectively in the life cycle of weapon system acquisition, efficient management plans of the SBA integrated Information system is required. As a result of identifying usage on SBA Information system and performance of operation performance measurement, it was defined that establishment of the SBA Integrated Information system process and provision of detailed system are mandatory for activating m&s resource and supporting process of acquisitions. In this study, Defense m&s information system is analyzed and improvement plans of SBA Integrated Information system is provided for efficient operation of SBA integrated Information system.

In the 1960s and 1970s when Korea experienced rapid economic growth, a considerable number of buildings were constructed in the country. And since 2000, a large number of sizable and complex buildings have been being built. Specifically, as the operation and maintenance cost alone accounts for 85% of the life cycle cost of a building, efficient Facility Management (FM) is required. However, data needed in the operation and maintenance phase are not sufficiently exchangeable with data created in other phases like the planning, design and construction phases. The upper phase has higher value of data but data exchange rate is low, resulting in inefficiency. To this end, this research derived major business functions for facility management: three categories and 19 detailed functions in classification from owner's perspective. Based on the derived items, this research proposes a methodology to evaluate the 'FM Workload', 'Facility Management (FM) Data', and 'FM Data Created in Engineering and Construction Phases' thereby analyzing plans for efficient operation and maintenance. The applicability of proposed methodology was tested by examining real-world cases of public and private companies.
