지능형 고효율 철도물류터미널 구축 방안 (On the development of Intelligent Railway Logistics Terminal)

  • The government have plans to improve the railway transport capacity and transport hub for the sustainable national transport and logistics system. Specially, there are much efforts to improve transportation capacity such as high speed transportation of rail freight, enlargement of BT train, development of double stack train, etc. between railway transport hubs. If the transport capacity between railway logistics hubs is increased as planned, we must increase the handling capacity of railway hub terminals. But there are limits to enlarge the terminal infrastructure because of investment scale, location circumstances and urban development plans. To ensure the capacity, with the minimum required enlargement of infrastructure, it is necessary to extremely increase the efficiency of terminal operations. For improving the efficiency, we have to introduce the efficient terminal operation systems based on u-IT and operation optimize technologies. In this paper, we analyse the issues and problems of railway terminals(including ICD) and suggest the concept of intelligent railway terminal and the construction components of technology.

서울 도시철도 9호선의 운영분야 혁신방안 (Renovation plans of operation field of Seoul Metro Line 9)

  • Seoul Metro Line 9 (SML9) is the first subway line that private capital invests in Korea. SML9 will cross Seoul, linking the Gimpo Airport to the Gangnam district (25.5km) opening in the first half of 2009. SML9 has a new model in Korea constructed by metropolitan government and private company and operated by specialized public transportation service provider. SML9 is confronted with tough environment of stagnated public transportation and strong competitor, Olympic city expressway. And SML9 is under pressure for showing high efficiency as non-governmental organization from both customers and government. Consequently SML9 must lead the maximum efficiency by using its material and human resource. It is necessary that SML9 raise a competitive power and display its ability in active collaboration with relative organization and company. Hereupon, I propose renovation plans from viewpoint of operation field of SML9, (1) efficient train scheduling regime focusing on the combination of express and local train (2) close connection of other mean of transportation and (3) effective connection convention with Airport Railroad (AREX) as the line connected directly.

  • On AC railway systems, the neutral sections are installed in front of substations and sectioning posts in order to avoid crash between power that have differing phases. In case railway vehicles pass through these neutral sections, it is necessary for them to switch to coasting driving by notch-off. This may reduce speed of the vehicles, resulting lowered train operation efficiency. The usage of automatic power switching systems makes it possible to pass neutral sections at notch-on, enhancing operation efficiency so that it is appropriate for high-speed railway applications. This paper analyzed inrush current of main transformer that installed on the train while passing through the neutral section using the simulator.

  • When the electric motor car was first introduced, an engineer, responsible for the work related to operation and a conductor for the announcement and management of entrances and the other services like as monitoring the passengers in the platforms used to take together the train for passengers' safe. As new technologies developed and the urban transit system had the automatic driving facilities, automatic door switch and broadcasting systems, to solve the financial problems, most subway systems introduced the one-man operation system. To curtail the operating expense through automatic control and operation for the economical efficiency, the crewless driving system was introduced abroad around 1970 on the light weight train and Japan started the crewless driving system in 2005, Germany started it in June 2008. We examine system requirements of the system and methods to construct safe systems that would be introduced, suitable for one-man operation system or crewless driving system through the surveys and analysis of driving state and the systems.

수도권 고속철도개통에 따른 고속선 병목구간 최적열차운행 체계 연구 (Development of Optimal Train Operation System in Bottle-neck Section According to the Opening of High Speed Railway in Seoul Metropolitan Area)

  • 수서-평택간 수도권과 호남고속철도 1단계사업이 2014년 말 개통됨에 따라 고속철도의 제2의 도약을 맞이하게 되었다. 하지만, 수도권 고속철도 건설기본계획에 준해 고속열차가 설정될 경우 수도권 고속열차와 기존 고속열차의 합류지점인 평택-오송 구간에서 고속선 선로용량의 최대치에 도달하게 되는데, 이로인해 천안아산역의 정차열차 수를 제한을 받게 되며 장기적으로 열차수요가 늘어나면 고속열차를 추가설정 할 수 없는 제약요인으로 작용이 예상된다. 본 연구는 고속선의 신호체계인 TVM430시스템의 열차설정 이론을 기초로 운행시 격 및 열차횟수를 산정방법을 검토한 후, 첨두시간대 병목구간인 평택-오송간의 최적의 열차운행패턴 적용방안을 제시하였다. 또한 적용방안을 운영에 도입할 경우 기대되는 효과와 문제점을 대안별로 분석하여 현 여건에 맞는 단계적 정책대안을 제시하였다. 분석결과 현재의 고속열차 운영시스템에 최소운행시격을 설정하여 병목구간을 운행한다면 추가투자비용 없이 선로용량초과 문제를 해결할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다. 향후 중장기 열차운영계획 등에 대안들이 반영된다면 고속선 병목구간(MLP, Maxmum Load Point)해소 등 열차운영효율 향상에 기여 할 것으로 기대된다.

  • Recently the roles of railways about the prevention of global warming caused by greenhouse gases and for low carbon green growth are larger than ever. And the railroad-related research institutions have been active in researching for energy conservation. Especially the urban railroad has been emerged as the best means of transportation compared to the general public transportation systems in punctuality, stability, ecology and etc. In operating the urban railroad system there are various ways for energy savings. In the larger category, One is the hardware aspect according to the structure of the vehicle and the development of control systems. The other is the software aspect which efficient train operation can be made through control of driving patterns and driving diagram. In this paper, there is sense to analyze the result in verifying expectation relation with variable and the use of electric power on this after selecting main variables that can influence to the energy of the train operation in the software aspect. First, after collecting the basic data related to operation(train speed, operating hours, power consumption, the position of stopping station, electrical power system etc.) and according to this, investigating the consumption of the energy of the operation, in the side of energy consumption deducing and analyzing problem, this will be found solutions.

차상중심 열차제어시스템의 현장시험을 통한 성능검증 (Field Test and Performance Verification of On-board Oriented Train Control System)

  • 국내의 저밀도 지선 구간에 적용되고 있는 지상 설비들은 주요 노선과 유사하게 설치되고 운영됨에 따라 운영 효율성 측면에서 적합하지 않은 문제를 가지고 있다. 이에 따라 열차의 안전과 운영 효율성을 도모하기 위해 개발된 차상중심 열차제어시스템은 고가의 지상신호 제어장치 없이 안전한 운행이 가능하도록 한다. 이러한 차상중심 열차제어시스템은 차상제어시스템, 선로변제어시스템, 운행관리시스템으로 구성된다. 본 논문에서는 현장에 차상제어장치와 선로변제어장치를 설치하여 적합성 시험을 비롯하여 통신 및 인터페이스 시험 수행 내용을 기술한다. 설치 검사는 전원, 전압, 케이블 연결, LED 상태 확인 등을 포함한다. 이를 바탕으로 실제와 유사하게 선로전환기, 건널목차단기를 포함한 가상노선에서 다양한 시나리오에 따른 동적 운영 시험을 통해 개발된 시스템의 현장 적용성을 검증한다. 총 7가지 시나리오에 대하여 동적 운영 시험이 수행되었고, 각 시나리오별로 여러 번 시험을 반복하였다. 메인 프로세스 로그를 분석하여 동작별 경과 시간을 계산하였으며, 대부분 수 초 이내에 동작이 이루어짐을 확인하였다. 또한 공인기관 입회하의 현장시험을 통하여 개발된 시스템을 검증하였고 시험성적서를 발급받았다.

에너지 최적의 열차 속도 궤적 생성을 위한 GA 기반 알고리즘 (A GA-Based Algorithm for Generating a Train Speed Profile Optimizing Energy Efficiency)

  • 본 논문에서는 열차 운전시 최적의 에너지 효율을 얻기 위해서 GA(Genetic Algorithm)를 이용하여 열차 속도 프로파일을 생성하는 최적 알고리즘을 제시하고 시뮬레이션을 통해 유효성을 보였다. 역간의 열차 운전 모드를 최대 역행, 타행, 최대 제동으로 간략화 시키고 타행지점을 조절하여 열차 운전시 소비되는 에너지를 최소화 시키는 방식을 기본으로 하여, 정해진 거리의 두 역간을 정해진 운전시간 내에 도달하기 위하여 목표 운전시간을 이용하여 적합도(Fitness) 함수를 설정한 후, GA 알고리즘을 적용하여 역간 거리와 목표 운전시간의 두 제한요소를 모두 만족시키는 타행 지점들을 결정하였다. 시뮬레이션 결과 두 제한 요소들을 만족하는 타행 지점이 여러 개가 존재함을 확인하였고, 각 타행지점들에 따른 소비 에너지를 도출하여 에너지 소비량이 가장 적은 타행지점을 선정하여 최종적인 열차속도 프로파일을 결정하였다. 시뮬레이션을 위해 Simulink를 이용하여 열차성능 시뮬레이션 블록들과 GA 블록들을 설계하였다.

지하철 터널내 운행열차에 의한 열차풍의 산정 (Estimation of Train-Induced Wind Generated by Train Operation in Subway Tunnels)

  • Development of underground space in urban area has a huge amount of potential to ease the limitations on the land use and the efficiency especially in urban area. Considering public transportation in urban area, subway system could be one of the most efficient and practical approaches. Subsequently this leads the public to have more chances to experience the indoor air quality (IAQ) in subway systems. In this study, it was aimed to produce useful data for the IAQ control in subway environments, Specifically the train-induced wind has been investigated by means of field survey and analysis. The recent updates including the quantified characteristics of train-induced wind are presented in this paper.
