Also, a lot of discussions about ecological concept and study for desirable solutions about practical use of closed schools example have been achieved. However, it is hard to find various ecological practical use examples at filed. In such background, this research wishes to investigate changing space and facilities variously and its usage which is applied ecological concept with regional closed schools.

  • University dorm basically provides basic housing functions to students, however, it is very important in a sense that it provides students with various functions such as information exchange, cultural experience and learning environments as well. Additionally, continuous effort to improve users' satisfaction and living environments are needed due to the fact that physical environments of dorm facilities have higher impact on students. However, Many students are not satisfied with the physical environment of university dorms and also there is lack of systematic information whereas various functions are required by students. Therefore, the main objective of this research is to suggest the direction of FM services in order for improving students' satisfaction on the university dorm facilities in Korea. Precedent studies regarding the satisfaction or performance evaluation of dorm facilities have been extensively analyzed to extract the dissatisfaction factors that scored below the middle 50%. Secondly, for satisfaction improvement, Korean Standard for Facility Management(KS_FM) have been matched with those extracted dissatisfaction factors to suggest the direction of FM services by rules and regulations review and best practice studies. This research will be useful for university dorm facility managers in planning strategic FM and providing effective FM services to students.

  • In recent times, education facilities for children have focused on the importance of the "living environment" of children. This is because children have a more sensitive response than adults in their lives. All of the field activities, body movement, and play they go through in their living environment exhibit a great educational effect while promoting their emotional, physical, and mental development; therefore, these are the main priority factors in planning an education facility for children. A space may be deemed to be created by the relationship between objects and the people who perceive them. Also, space cognition may be defined to be made of the perception of a space, integration with experience, and restructuring. Physical factors and visual factors, which are the basic factors composing a space, either play their roles as independent variables in a space or form a relationship through a combination between the factors; thereby, diverse types of space experiences may be created. Space experience may be realized through the "movements" of a user, and a user selectively experiences a space through his/her voluntary movements, while experiencing the space against their will through flexible movements. In particular, space experience through movements has an effect on children in terms of making them feel like having daily exploration, and it also has a positive effect on education. A movement space in which "movements" appear most strongly in an education facility for children connects various nearby spaces, and it also portrays a transfer role. Furthermore, in this space, a variety of space changes can be found; thereby, children are able to have diverse selective space experiences.

Educational officials in technical post course addressing approval and permission of school facility projects, seismic reinforcement of school building, etc. Educational supervisors course covering roles and responsibilities of the school safety supervisors in the event of disaster. Teaching staffs course focused on safety instructions for students. Fourth, it is found that lectures and experiential learning methods are the most desirable methods of teaching and learning, and the major ranks are earthquake disaster, fire, gas, typhoon, school road, and electrical safety.
