Purpose: The aim of this research was to identify the relationships between occupational stress, ethical dilemma, burnout and turnover intention and the factors influencing turnover intention in hospital nurses. Methods: The participants, 215 nurses, were recruited from two university hospitals located in two provinces of Korea. Data were collected through self-report questionnaires. Collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients, and multiple regression with SPSS/WIN 22.0. Results: Participants' scores for occupational stress, ethical dilemma, burnout and turnover intention were $3.96{\pm}0.45$, $2.60{\pm}0.39$, $3.71{\pm}0.70$, and $3.50{\pm}0.90$ respectively. The results show that the higher the score for occupational stress, ethical dilemma, and burnout the higher the score for turnover intention. The most important factor influencing turnover intention was burnout (${\beta}=.42$, p<.001), followed by position (${\beta}=.21$, p=.001), educational level (${\beta}=.21$, p=.007), ethical dilemma (${\beta}=.13$, p=.020) in that order. These factors explained 43.5% of total variance in turnover intention (F=19.34, p<.001). Conclusion: Changes in hospital structural management systems and support strategies should be developed and operated, taking into account burnout, ethical dilemma, and personal characteristics of clinical nurses in order to reduce turnover.
The development of career knowledge and career attitude in adolescence is significant to achieve a successful transition to adulthood. The aim of this study was to assess effects of family income and career guidance and counseling experience on changes in career maturity during the transition from high school to college. The study used data from Youth Panel 2007 collected by Korea Employment Information Service. The data included 456 adolescents who were high school students in the first and third waves of survey and college students in the fifth wave of survey. The educational method of physical computing, where students can experience software programming principles and practices while making concrete objects beyond outputs residing just inside of computer monitors, are drawing attentions. This current research sought an instructional method for pre-service teachers that they can experience 3D printing and modeling and at the same time they can understand programming principles in the 3D modeling processes. To achieve this aim, the TinkerCAD $Codeblocks^{(R)}$ was analyzed based on the computational thinking framework and a course utilizing the $Codeblocks^{(R)}$ to 3D modeling was devised. The designed class was applied to pre-service teachers and the students' perceptions of the class were collected by using a semi-structured survey. This study provides implications to software education for pre-service teachers as an instructional case that 3D printing is used to connecting computational thinking skills.
This research is a study on up cycling design to protect nature in order to postpone global warming to the maximum extent possible as it has been a serious global issue to the fashion industry and even to individual consumers. This research focuses on the ways to use wedding dress, one of the clothes made of synthetic fiber, which is a major cause of global warming. Among clothing from the 19th century, two styles of clothes, Bustle style and Art Nouveau style were analyzed ranging from their underwear styles to outwear styles through collections in books and museums. Two styles of dress using drawers, chemise, and corset as basic underwears were manufactured. All the fabric and subsidiary materials except for parts of underwears were made with discarded wedding dresses. It was developed for rental clothing which women could try on Western costume, from underwears to outwears. First, for bustle dress, woman put on basic underwears, then bustle, and bustle-type petticoat. Dress is a two-piece type, and it was made to put on detachable train on the back of skirt. Second, based on the Art Nouveau style clothes, our-glass style dress consists of petticoat, one-piece over drawers, chemise, and corset. After putting on drawers, both chemise, and corset were the same as Bustle Style. This research is a practical way of realizing sustainable design. The aim of the current work is to provide educational effect on the development of rental clothes which upcycle wedding dress and let women experience other cultures.
The aim of this study was to review the history of dental hygiene education in Korea on its $50^{th}$ anniversary in 2015. Internal resources and documents from the Korean Dental Hygienists' Association and other accessible resources were examined to verify the historical facts of dental hygiene education in Korea. From 1965 to 1967, the first class of four dental hygiene students graduated, and the legal basis for dental hygiene as a profession was established, which led to the start of the profession Registered Dental Hygienist in 1971. From 1977 to 1993, 13 higher educational institutions started dental hygiene programs. The Korean Dental Hygienists' Association (1977) and Korean Association of Dental Hygiene College Professors (1987) were established in this period. From 1994 to 2006, the duration of major-intensive course programs in dental hygiene was extended to three from the two years of 1994, and the first bachelor's degree program in dental hygiene started in 2002. In this period, studies on dental hygiene became significantly active owing to vigorous activities by academic societies. The master's degree program in dental hygiene was established in 2007. Academic dental hygiene journals, the Journal of Dental Hygiene Science, and Journal of Korean Academy of Dental Hygiene Education were promoted as the registered journals of the Korean Research Foundation. From 1965 to 2015, dental hygiene education in South Korea expanded both quantitatively and qualitatively and is now ready for further progress in the future.

In 2018, The Ministry of Health and Welfare announced its first comprehensive plan for patient safety, which included the imperative to develop a patient safety curriculum for students studying to become health professionals. The aim of this study is to assess current patient safety education and points of consideration for introducing new curriculum. An online survey was used to understand the status of patient safety education in medical schools, and key informant interviews and focus group interviews were used to collect qualitative data on the experience of patient safety education. The results of the online survey from 16 out of 40 medical schools (40% response rate) and the qualitative data analysis were integrated and analyzed. Twelve schools (75%) had established courses related to patient safety. The qualitative responses suggest that patient safety education is appropriate both before and after clinical training through a variety of educational methods, and that the topics should be linked with clinical training. The challenge of securing lecture time to address patient safety was mentioned as a realistic obstacle. When patient safety education is integrated in future curriculum, it is necessary to consider it as a priority. Moreover, in the early stages of introducing patient safety education, a step-by-step, policy-based approach is required for seamless adoption and settlement.
