비판(-창의)적 사고를 접목한 기초 설계 교육 자료 개발: 계란 낙하 기구 설계 (Development of Basic Design Education Materials Incorporating Critico(-Creative) Thinking: Egg Drop Device Design)

  • This paper aims to prepare basic design education materials explaining the design process of egg drop device by incorporating critico(-creative) thinking. To this end, in this paper, by utilizing the creative problem solving process and the elements and standards of critical thinking, 'the five-step creative engineering design education guidelines' have been prepared so that engineering freshmen can effectively participate in engineering design projects without major knowledge. We would like to apply them to the egg drop device design. The egg drop device design, which is experiment to make and drop a drop device that can protect an egg from breaking when it is dropped freely from high places, is an engineering design project that is widely used not only in elementary, middle and high school science events but also in engineering education courses under the name of 'stunt egg'. Perhaps the basic design education material on the egg drop device design incorporating critico(-creative) thinking in this paper will contribute to incorporating critico(-creative) thinking into engineering education, as well as to achieving the educational goals of the basic design subject.

국내 의료기기 제조업체의 ISO13485:2016 교육 프로그램 개발 및 교육 효과 연구 (A Study on the Development and Effectiveness of ISO13485:2016 Education Programs for Domestic Medical Device Manufacturers)

  • Purpose: As ISO 13485 was revised in 2016, the domestic GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) system was also revised and implemented in 2019. However, there are many problems in the domestic medical device industry because most of the small and medium-sized enterprises lack human and material resources. Accordingly, this study was conducted to provide education programs for domestic medical device companies to induce information provision and improve the company's quality management ability. Methods: First, analyze existing education. Second, based on the revised GMP system, a survey paper was produced to investigate difficulties and problems experienced by companies. Third, a two-week survey was conducted on domestic medical device manufacturers, and a total of 77 companies responded to this survey. Fourth, educational program development was conducted based on the results of the survey. Results and Conclusion: The developed education program consists of a total of five sessions. In this study, the educational program developed by grasping the needs of the company through a survey consists of a total of five sessions. The first session consisted of theoretical education and the second to fifth sessions of practical education. Through the education program developed in this study, it is expected to contribute to the overall development of medical device quality by establishing a domestic medical device manufacturing environment that secures the safety and performance of domestic medical device companies.

Profile Analysis of Elementary School Students' Smart Device Usage

  • Smart devices have a variety of affordances to foster meaningful learning in elementary school. For the design of smart learning environments, more research is needed to understand students' smart device usage and their perception of learning with smart devices. In order to capture smart device usage profiles among elementary school students in South Korea, this study carried out Latent Profile Analysis with three constructs: information search, communication, and study. Participants (n=253), who ranged from the fourth to the sixth grade students, were classified into three profiles of smart device usage: low-activity, communication, and high-activity groups. The smart device usage profiles varied depending on smartphone usage experience, and the profiles were significantly related with smart device addiction, not with smart device usage ability. Perceptions of smart education were also significantly associated with the profiles. The high-activity group showed more positive attitudes toward smart education than the others, but no significant difference was found in regard to negative attitudes. Based on the findings, this study discussed implications for the use of smart devices in elementary school.

새로운 ICT 기반 서비스에 대한 연구 : N-디바이스 스마트교육 서비스를 중심으로 (A Study on the novel ICT baced Services : Focused on N-Device Smart Education Services)

  • A novel concept of ICT based service, which is called N-device service, is proposed and implemented in the form of N-device smart education services. The N-device services are different from the existing N-screen services in terms of the number of devices a user is using for a specific service at the same time. A N-device service consists of several smart devices which are different in size, software and hardware platform, mobility, manufacturer and the like by fully utilizing the characteristic of each device. The major and unique features of N-device services are analyzed and depicted in a strict way. Those are shared role for each device, service by configurable device, one sensor multiple use, real-time data sharing, role shifting and new market creation. It is turned out that the N-device service is more human centric compared with existing ICT based services and can give richer digital experience to users because non-existent services become possible with the new concept. However, there exist several barriers to be implemented and commercialized in the real world. Those include high development cost and time, small market and different application platforms of devices. These barriers can be overcome by technical advances and cooperation between relevant parties. The smart education is very prominent area, in which the novel concept can be applied with high priority because Korean government announced its plan to boost up new educational services with big budget and these are acceptable by enthusiastic Korean parents and students. That's why the N-device service is implemented in the education area, which is called as "livessam(live teacher)," with four smart devices, IPTV, tablet PC, PC and smart phone. By providing both detailed service scenario and techniques, we shows that the novel education service is technically feasible and acceptable by teachers and students.

초등학교에서 정보과학교육을 위한 정보기기교육의 내용 체계 (Contents Framework of Information Devices Education for the Computer Science Education in Elementary School)

  • 본 연구는 초등학교 정보과학교육을 위한 정보기기교육의 내용체계에 관한 연구이다. 연구 결과로 초등학교 정보과학교육을 위한 정보기기교육에 대한 교육내용을 조직하고 성취기준을 마련하여 제안한다. 이를 위하여 여러 나라의 정보기기교육 내용과 우리나라의 정보기기교육 내용을 조사한다. 그리고 정보과학 교육과정에 적용할 수 있는 정보기기교육의 내용을 선정하여 학년 군별로 내용체계를 구성한다. 그래서 국가 수순의 정보과학 교육과정 개발에 기여한다.

멀티미디어 제작 실습에서의 촉각장치 활용에 관한 연구 (Using Haptic Device in Multimedia Education)

  • Mouse is widely used in multimedia education. However, using mouse is not easy for user to get exact three dimentional (3D) user input and to manipulate delicately as the user can not know the surface information of virtual objects, which are typical drawbacks of using mouse in multimedia education, especially in 3D multimedia contents authoring. In this paper, haptic device is introduced to the 3D multimedia education. The haptic device provides 3D user's input information as well as haptic information of virtual objects such as surface textures, collisions and etc. which thus allow to enhance the task efficiency in multimedia education. Simple experiment results are presented to show the positive results of using the haptic device in multimedia education.

A Study on the Development of Arduino-Electrochemical Cell and the Exploration of Educational Possibilities from the Perspective of Learning by Making

  • In this study, the new electrochemical cell device using Arduino and sensor was developed, and experiments of changes in voltage at the time of serial and parallel connection of electrochemical cells were conducted to verify the effectiveness of the device. In addition, in order to examine the educational effects of the device, student's inquiry activities of measuring voltage of electrochemical cells and making objects using the voltage difference were conducted. As a result, it was confirmed that the electrochemical device using Arduino and sensor could not only perform automatic measurements and visualize data but also have a possibility to seek various educational effects through easy coding and modification of the device. Based on the results of students' performance, it was found that experimental activities using the device impart a positive effect not only on the understanding of scientific concepts, but also on the development of the practical ability to apply scientific knowledges to the real life. Educational implications are discussed in terms of 'learning by making'.

측면 에어 가이드 트랙을 이용한 새로운 운동마찰계수 측정 장치의 개발 (Development of New Measurement Device for the Coefficient of Kinetic Friction by Using Side Air-Guide Track)

  • In this study, a new experimental device was developed for measurement of the coefficient of kinetic friction using a photo gate timer system which have advantages of easy and accurate detection of motion. This device, consisting of a side air-guide track and a side friction-free glider, forces a friction sample to move in a straight line without producing unnecessary friction. The new device is compared to two conventional measuring methods of friction for four different friction samples: one is using a camera system and the other is using a force sensor. It is demonstrated that the developed friction device in this study is easier to operate and produces the most accurate and the least deviating results among them. On the basis of these results, we propose that friction experiment using the new friction device is included in general physics experiment, so that engineering students should have a chance to get correct understanding of classical mechanics including friction phenomenon.

50KW 태양광발전의 원격 감시제어시스템에 관한 연구 (Development of Remote Monitoring and Control Device of 50KW Photovoltaic System)

  • 본 논문에서는 배전지능화시스템과 정보 연계, 미래 지능형전력망 운용 및 태양광, 풍력, 연료전지등과 같은 신에너지전원의 단지를 효율적으로 유지관리하기 위하여, 유 무선 네트워크 구성요소의 특성을 해석하고, 이를 바탕으로 원거리감시제어 장치를 제작하였다. 이 장치는 50KW급 태양광전원과 유 무선 네트워크의 알고리즘을 기반으로 실시간으로 출력되는 전압, 전류데이터를 무선네트워크로 장거리 전송하여, HMI 프로그램인 Autobase로 실시간 모니터링 하도록 하였다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 제안한 원거리 감시제어 장치를 이용하여 50KW급 태양광 발전 데이터를 무선네트워크 기술로 전송받아 데이터를 측정하고, 이 결과를 분석하여 태양광발전량의 운용특성을 분석하였다.

The Advantages of M-Learning Using The Combination of Digital Content and Mobile Device In Education Field

  • In general, there are 3 subjects of discussion in education field; namely past, present and future. Related with those facts, there is several information or knowledge that relatively hard to be presented in the real world. In this matter, digital content shows its contribution especially in the education field. Digital content can virtually represent the information or knowledge that seems to be difficult to be visualized in the real world before. In this project, researcher develops a mobile device's application that consist the skeleton's 3D virtual content. This application is expected to solve the above explained problem that usually appears during learning human skeleton in senior high-school's biology class. Besides, the application of digital content will make the learning process become easier because the student will have a visual learning tool. Last, the mobile device that is used in this prototype has offer an important beneficial namely mobility beneficial, so that the user can access the content anytime and anywhere.
