  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of teaching personal safety skills for prevention of potential child sexual abuse in Korean society. The subjects of this study were 80 first grade female students, sampled from elementary schools in Seoul. The instruments of this study were the Personal Safety Questionnaire (PSQ) and 'What if' Situations Test (WIST) modified by the present researcher. The t-test and Pearson's correlation coefficient were applied to analyze the data of this study. The results of the analysis were (1) after the Behavioral Skills Training, the children of the training group showed a higher level of knowledge about child sexual abuse than the control group. (2) After the Behavioral Skills Training, the children of the training group showed more adequate self-defensive skills than the control group when they faced situations of possible child sexual abuse. (3) The higher the level of knowledge about child sexual abuse, the more adequate self-defensive skills in situations of child sexual abuse. These results supported the effectiveness of Behavioral Skills Training as preventive education on potential child sexual abuse.

  • The purpose of the study was to identify the status of satisfaction level, moving motivation, the level of housing choosing behavior, and housing needs of potential purchasers in bukgu new housing area, Ulsan. The survey used questionnaire from 336 households living in bukgu area and analyzed using descriptive statistics, and one-way analysis of variance and Scheffe' multiple range test. The research results showed low degree of residents' satisfaction in storage space, neighborhood environment. The moving motivations were physical environment improvement, education environment, walking road, view and lighting.

  • Based on our previous results that among 4 strains of mice SHN and GR/A showed the highest mammary growth potentials in females and males, respectively. Effects of crossbreeding on normal and neoplastic mammary growth were studied in $(SHN\;{\times}\;GR/A)F_1$ virgin female mice. $F_1$ mice were higher than the parental strains in the end-bud formation and the ductal growth of mammary glands at 60 days of age and at tumorous age, respectively. While there was little difference between $F_1$ and both parental strains in the onset age of the first mammary tumors, mammary tumorigenic potential was apparently higher in the former than in the latters. This would be the first report that demonstrated directly the contribution of mammary growth potential of males to that of female offspring.

  • Nowadays, cloud computing and big data analytics are at the center of many industries' concerns to take advantage of the potential benefits of building future smart cities. The integration of cloud computing and big data analytics is the main reason for massive adoption in many organizations, avoiding the potential complexities of on-premise big data systems. With these two technologies, the manufacturing industry, healthcare system, education, academe, etc. are developing rapidly, and they will offer various benefits to expand their domains. In this issue, we present a summary of 18 high-quality accepted articles following a rigorous review process in the field of cloud computing and big data analytics.

  • Korea goes on speedily an information-oriented world in the whole filed of society by diffusing the information-oriented education for the whole nation and the utilization of information. Consequently foodservice enterprise which is establishing their homepage in the web site for marketing purpose and direct application of restaurant management had been increased at recently for the restaurant's publicity, raising their image. The purpose of this study is to examine the feasibilities of internet application in the foodservice industry. Now the generation who most use the internet went into gear the generation of main consumers out of foodservice industry. Also teenagers who occupied the most portions of using internet are able to be the most important potential customer at present or in the near future. Therefore if marketing activity is recognized for this potential customer, it will be more effective than any other way to promotion.

  • A voltammetric investigation of Au assay was conducted at a low cost, using Nafion and DNA immobilized on a graphite Pencil working electrode (NDP) with a black lead counter and reference. The following optimal parameters were found: 0.4 V amplitude, 500 Hz frequency, -0.7 V initial potential, and 0.015 V increment potential. These optimal conditions were also applied to sand obtained from the river site. The aforementioned technique is simpler and less costly compared to the common voltammetry and spectrophotometric methods.

  • The molar volumes, the molar heat capacities and the molar entropies of solid argon are calculated from 0 K to the triple point using the vacancies-in-solid model. In the partition function, the central pairwise additive (Mie-Lennard-Jones 12,6) potential is used by introducing numbers, which is obtained by summing powers over all lattice points of a face-centred cubic in terms of the distance between nearest neighbours. A method of iteration is employed to evaluate the potential parameter. The results are compared with experimental values and other theoretical values. The results show a fair agreement with the experimental results.

  • In this paper, the question whether the curvature of the minimum energy path can affect the dynamic threshold was tested using the boundary trajectory method developed by Chesnavich and coworkers. For nonreactive system, the MO EXP model potential surface was used with modified equilibrium distance to control the curvature. The results showed that there is no relation between the curvature and the dynamic threshold. In order to study the reactive system, a generalization of the boundary trajectory method was achieved to apply on the nonsymmetric system. We have found no correspondence between the curvature and the dynamic threshold of the system. It was also shown that the fate of the trajectories strongly depends on the shape of potential surface around the turning points along the symmetric stretch line.

  • Commercial space tourism is being developed and this trend is expected to continue and accelerate. Although opportunities and threats of space tourism attracted the interest of academia, literature on potential demand, attitudes and people's motivations for space tourism is scarce. In this context, this paper investigates young generations' interest and motivations towards different forms of space tourism. The cluster analysis on 2,207 respondents highlighted an interest in space tourism although motivated by different reasons, levels of budget and sustainability aspects. Interest in space tourism varies according to how far it is perceived as potential, possible or sustainable, or to people's personal feelings. The paper adds to contributions in the tourism field by investigating the opportunities space can offer this industry.
