EBSi 이용 현황 분석을 통한 개선 방안 연구 (A Study on the Analysis and Improvements of the EBSi)

  • 본 연구에서는 2004년 4월 1일부터 시행된 EBS 수능 강의에 대한 객관적인 분석을 위해 EBS의 협조를 얻어 EBS 수능 강의 시스템에 실제로 누적된 데이터를 분석하였다. 즉, 강좌 개설 현황이나 강사 배치 현황, 회원 현황 등을 분석하였고, 강좌 이용 현황을 연도별로 구분하여 분석하였다. 또한, 사설 온라인 학원의 수강료와 비교하여 EBS 수능 강의 이용에 대한 경제적 가치를 추산하였다. 아울러, 게시판 이용 현황을 분석하여 상담원 배치의 적절성을 진단하였으며, 2008년 새 대입제도 도입에 따른 EBS의 대응 방안을 진단하기 위해 논술 이용 현황 등을 분석하였다. 이러한 분석 결과를 토대로 EBS 수능 강의가 보다 활성화되기 위한 개선 방안을 다양하게 제시하였다.

촬영용 드론 교육 방안 (An Education Plan for Camera Drone)

  • 군사용으로 개발된 드론(drone)은 관련 기술의 발전과 함께 군사용을 벗어나 민간 영역에까지 그 활용 범위를 넓혀가고 있다. 현재 드론은 농업 분야를 비롯하여 무인 택배, 영상콘텐츠 제작, 건축 분야 등에서 드론의 사용이 활발히 증가하고 있다. 우리나라는 2021년부터 드론 비행을 위한 드론 자격증 제도를 도입하여 운영 중이며 최대 이륙중량 2kg 이상의 드론 비행은 비행경력과 실기 시험이 요구된다. 그러나 2kg 미만의 드론은 비행경력이나 실기 시험이 필요 없이 온라인 교육 자격만으로도 운영할 수 있다. 최근 최대 이륙중량 2kg 미만의 촬영용 드론의 보급이 급격히 증가하고 있으며 이와 관련된 사고 또한 증가하고 있다. 본 논문은 급격히 증가하는 촬영용 드론의 특징에 대하여 살펴보고 이와 관련된 촬영용 드론 교육 방안에 대하여 논의한다.

Short Communication: Links between Dental Hygiene Curriculum and Dental Hygiene Task Analysis

  • Background: The problem with current dental hygienist education is that it operates as an education system based on the national examination rather than on a practical basis; thus, graduates have difficulties in practice after obtaining their license. This study aimed to propose a job-oriented curriculum by analyzing the links between the task analysis of Korean dental hygienists and dental hygiene learning goals. Methods: This study performed a relationship analysis based on a second job analysis study of dental hygienists conducted by the Korea Health Personnel Licensing Examination Institute and the learning goals of the Korean Dental Hygiene Faculty Association. Results: Based on the links between the task and learning goals of the dental hygienist, they were classified into six types: 1) tasks listed in the license exam and learning goal, 2) tasks not listed in the license exam but listed in learning goals, 3) tasks not listed in learning goals, 4) learning goals not related to tasks, 5) learning goals listed in a few tasks, and 6) tasks related to several learning goals. The results showed that most of them correspond to the 5th classification, followed by the 3rd and 4th categories, which are mostly basic science learning goals. Tasks without learning goals are not included in the curriculum; thus, the curriculum needs to be supplemented. The overlapping learning goals of several subjects for one job skill must be reduced in job-oriented education. Conclusion: We suggest that the dental hygiene curriculum be developed based on task analysis and reflected in the national dental hygienist exam. The clinical practice performance of dental hygienists will take further leap forward through task-oriented education.

호흡기계 표준화 환자를 이용한 간호대 학생의 임상수행능력평가 타당도와 신뢰도 검증 (Validity and Reliability of a Clinical Performance Examination using Standardized Patients)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to test the validity of a modified clinical performance examination (CPX) for preclinical students in nursing. Method: 70 nursing students in their second semester of the junior year at C University participated in CPX. Scenarios and checklists were developed by our research team from September to October 2005. Six stations were organized. Evaluation included physical examination of a patient with lung cancer, education on usage of a metered dosage inhaler, and lobectomy postoperative care. Students were randomly assigned to a station. Result: There was a difference in the CPX scores according to stations. The agreement of scoring between trained faculty members and SPs was more than moderate (r=.647). The correlation between the CPX score and the average grade in the previous semester and between the CPX score and the average grade of a paper and pen test of the pulmonary system of adults was low (r=.276; r=.048). Conclusion: Traditional CPX is generally recommended, however, modified CPX is appropriate for preclinical students in the current Korean Nursing school setting if there are additional scoring systems to balance the testing level at each station.

Prevalence and Risk Factors of Diabetic Retinopathy in Diabetes People using Korean National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey VII

  • Purpose: This study aimed to investigate the prevalence and risk factors of diabetic retinopathy (DR) in people with diabetes mellitus (DM) using Korean National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey VII (2017~2018). Methods: DM was defined as in two ways; 1) doctor's diagnosis (Group 1, n=549), 2) one of doctor's diagnosis, medication, or hyperglycemia (Group 2, n=849). The DR prevalence was measured as the prevalence proportion (%). Risk factors for developing DR were analyzed using multiple logistic regression, and odds ratios (ORs) and 95% confidence intervals (CIs) were calculated. Results: The prevalence of DR was 25.87% in Group 1 and 20.14% in Group 2. Risk factors for DR were identified as insulin therapy (Group 1: OR=5.31, Group 2: OR=5.27), DM duration ≥10 years (Group 1: OR=2.20, Group 2: OR=3.10), and systolic blood pressure ≥140 mmHg (Group 1: OR=2.26, Group 2: OR=2.23) for both groups. Conclusion: Considering the DR prevalence, eye examinations education is highly recommended as part of a diabetes management programs in the community. It is also proposed to shorten the eye examination cycle for people with risk factors and establish a referral system to link between screening to treatment.

지능정보사회에서 학교교육체제 혁신 방향과 과제 탐색을 위한 시론적 연구 (An Exploratory Study for the Direction and Tasks for Innovating School System in the Intelligent Information Society)

  • 이 연구는 다가온 4차 산업혁명시대와 지능정보사회를 맞은 한국 사회의 핵심적 정책 아젠다 중 하나인 학교교육 체제 개혁을 위한 몇 가지 방향과 대안들을 탐색하는 데 목적이 있다. 한국 학교교육은 학생의 소질과 적성을 고려하지 않은 공급자 중심 체제이고, 20세기 초반의 공장제식 학교교육의 특징을 굳건히 하면서 획일적 교육 및 학습 관행을 지속하고 있다. 특히, 교육계 종사자들의 대학입시에 대한 과도한 추종에 따라 교육현장에서 지식의 도구화와 학습의 탈맥락화가 심화되고 있으며, 따라서 4차 산업혁명기가 요구하는 공감하고 협력하면서도 주체적으로 생각하고 판단할 줄 아는 인간을 양성해내는 데 한계가 발생하고 있다. 따라서 이를 개혁하기 위한 교육 혁신의 과제로서 다음 몇 가지 사항을 검토하고 제언하였다. 첫째, 교육과정 수권체계를 선진형 교사수권체계로 변화시키고, 둘째, 교사의 자율성을 잠식하는 관료적 교사단체제를 해체하고 전문적 교사단 체제를 정립하며, 셋째, 교육과정 편성 및 운영과정에서 교과영역 이기주의를 극복하고 교원양성교육과정의 철저한 개선이 시급하고, 넷째, 과도한 교육행정관료제의 완화와 함께 교육법 체계의 전면적인 개편이 필요하며, 다섯째, 학교교육 지원행정을 학습자와 교수자 상호간의 활발한 커뮤니케이션이 이루어지도록 적극 유도할 필요가 있다.

물리치료 교육과정 분석에 의한 물리치료 교육 이원화의 문제점 (The Problem of Physical Therapy Educational Duality by Analyzing the Curricuium)

  • The Quality of physical therapy school system has conflicts between physical therpist, and reduces the opportunity of seguential education. So this study was investigated in order to made concrete the problems of educational duality, set up the direction of the school system's improvement, as like the four-year system and recognized the necessity. The curriculums of 13 colleges and 5 universities was analyzed. The curriculum analysis was made up the comparison and the analysis by a liberal arts point, a major point, a clinical practice point, total opening subjects, and so on. The analyzing results were as follows. 1. The average rates of a liberal arts vs. a major opening point are 17:83 in college, and are 27:73 in university. 2. It is a serious problem that college are lower than university in a liberal arts. The best method that can solve it is lengthen the number of school years. 3. There is no difference between college and university in a major subject. Rather college has the more subject's numbers than university. 4. There is no difference between college and university in a clinical practice. Above results suggests that there is not different between college and university in a major subject except for a liberal arts point. It is proper that one should be unificate the curriculum according to the sameness between a state examination and a license. Therefore, it is necessary for graduates from college that provides the opportunity of proceeding to a higher school, demands the seguential system of study cultivating and producing a bachelor, and requires the continual education in a clinical field, a bachelor admitting system of continual education, and clinical therapist's qualification. The present physical therapy educational systems should be unificated because of many right reasons. On the other hand, the follw-up study that improving the school system about the four-years and the more physical therapy should be continue from the viewpoint of education.

The Opinions of Some Dental Hygienists about Improvement of Korean Dental Hygiene Education

  • This study's aim was to investigate their opinions to improve the educational system for dental hygienists on the basis of their duties as dental hygienists. The qualitative study was conducted among 19 dental hygienists at Daejeon, Korea from July to August 2016. Two researchers followed each subject for working hours in a day and recorded all the tasks and time to take for each task. After one day, the researchers met each subject and conducted face-to-face interviews to investigate the opinions about the dental hygiene curriculum and national board examination. The main duties recognized by more than half of the subjects were oral disease prevention including scaling and dental treatment assistance. The subjects' minority opinion about the main duties included radiography, impression taking, dental implant surgery assistance, orthodontic treatment, patient counseling, dental management and staff management, and oral health education. The most important tasks perceived by the subjects were prosthetic and implant impressions, scaling and implant surgery assistance. The subjects' minority opinion about the most important duties included patient counseling and making temporary crowns. The most difficult tasks answered by the subjects were prosthetic and implant impressions and dental implant surgery assistance. The subjects' minority opinion about it included patient counseling, scaling, and making temporary crowns. They mentioned that their curriculum in college was different from the actual work and the national board examination was not reflective of their real duties. We found out Korean dental hygienists had a lot of roles as dental assistants, dental business managers, and so on. We suggest that the law, curriculum and national board examination for dental hygienists should be revised to be able to reflect the reality of the clinical field.

입학 전형에 따른 컴퓨터교육과 학생들의 대학생활 비교 연구 (A Comparative Study on the Campus Life of Computer Science Education Students by Types of University Admission)

  • 본 연구에서는 G 교육대학교 컴퓨터 교육과 입학생들을 대상으로 입학 전형에 따라 학업 성취도, 학과 만족도, 학과 선호도에서 차이를 나타내는지를 비교 분석하였다. 최근 3년간 입학한 특정 영역 우수자 학생들과 정시 입학생들의 학업 성취도 데이터를 수집하여 분석한 결과 특정 영역 우수자 입학생들의 학업 성취도가 상대적으로 더 높다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 또한 설문조사 결과 특정 영역 우수자 입학생들이 정시 입학생들에 비해 학과에 대한 만족도가 높았다. 특정 영역 우수자의 학업 성취도 및 학과 만족도가 높은 이유는 컴퓨터에 대한 관심이 높은 학생들이 입학하여 학과에 대한 충성도가 높기 때문인 것으로 보인다. 따라서 교육대학교 입시에서도 심화과정별로 학생을 선발하는 방안에 대해 고려할 필요가 있음을 알 수 있다. 또한, 4차 산업 혁명 시대가 시작됨에 따라 컴퓨터 교육과를 희망하는 학생들은 더욱 늘어날 것으로 예측된다.

의과대학 임상실습에서의 학생평가방법: 과거, 현재 및 제언 (Assessment of Medical Students in Clinical Clerkships)

  • The clinical clerkship focuses students on developing their ability to perform comprehensive diagnosis and management of patients with common undifferentiated problems by the integration of knowledge and clinical reasoning. Therefore, the clerkship evaluation system should assess their actual problem solving and professional behavior. However, concern remains that clerkship evaluations are imprecise and highly variable. This review is designed to provide faculty members with concepts, options, and a methodology to actively teach and evaluate the clinical clerkship, as well as offer encouragement and inspiration to medical students. We reviewed past and current clinical clerkship evaluations and discuss several tips to improve clinical excellence such as continuity, transparency of the evaluation process, a faculty development program, practical examination of clinical skills, implementation of a checklist for recording exposure and skills, providing prompt and constructive feedback to students, self-evaluation of professional performance, varying multi-faceted assessment combinations, being outpatient clinic-centered, and having dedicated faculty members who give students one-on-one contact with a preceptor.
