The Protoplast Fusion of Aspergillus niger (Aspergillus niger의 원형질체 융합에 관한 연구)

  • Conditions for production, fusion and reversion of protoplasts of Aspergillus niger were investigated, and an attempt was made to enhance fusion frequency. Auxotrophic mutants and morphological mutants were induced by U.V. irradiation $(9.9\;erg/mm^2,\;13min)$ on Aspergillus niger. Maximum yield of protoplasts was obtained from 21 hr cultured mycelia by using 1% driselase in 0.6 M KCl or 0.6 M $NH_4Cl$ as osmotic stabilizer. The optimal temperature for mycelium digestion was $30^{\circ}C$, and the optimal pH was 6.0. Protoplasts produced at different digestion period showed heterogeneity in size and vacuole content. Maximal frequency of protoplasts reversion was obtained on 0.6 M KCl stabilized agar medium at pH 5.0. Reversion frequencies of protoplasts produced for 3 hr and 1 hr mycelial digestion were 8.0% and 15.3%, respectively. The optimal concentration of PEG(m.w. 6000) for protoplast fusion was 30%, and that of $CaCl_2$ was $1{\sim}50\;mM$. The optimal pH and period for the reaction of PEG solution were 8.0 and 10 minutes, respectively. Fusion frequencies between auxotrophic protoplasts produced for 3 hr-mycelial digestion were $0.06{\sim}0.42%$, and those for 1 hr-mycelial digestion were $0.09{\sim}0.54%$.

  • This paper presents a method for improving the selection of boundary areas suitable for Korea's situation based on domestic and foreign case studies on the establishment of boundary areas to protect people and the environment from chemical substances in response to chemical accidents and chemical terrorism. Currently, various related ministries are divided into hot zones, warm zones, and cold zones in common, but in specific areas, they are used in different ways in terms of terminology utilization. Therefore, it was suggested that the boundary areas be divided into four zones: hot zone, warm zone, cold zone, and safety zone. In addition, the terms warm zone and safety zone should be re-established. The existing ERPG acute exposure standard does not take into account various exposure times. Therefore, it is unsuitable for long-term exposure, so the priority of application should be AEGL, ERPG, PAC, and IDLHs. The CARIS information provision method is classified into substances that can or cannot be diffused or classified as indoor leaks. In addition, the wind direction trust line and the ERG's initial separation distance and protective action distance are expressed together so that they can be used for accident responses.

Superparamagnetic Properties of MnFe2O4 Nanoparticles (초미세 나노분말 MnFe2O4의 초상자성 성질 연구)

  • $MnFe_2O_4$ nanoparticles have been prepared by a sol-gel method. The structural and magnetic properties have been investigated by XRD, SEM, and $M{\ddot{o}}ssbauer$ spectroscopy, VSM. $MnFe_2O_4$ powder that was annealed at $250^{\circ}C$ has spinel structure and behaved superparamagnetically at room temperature. $MnFe_2O_4$ annealed at 400 and $500^{\circ}C$ has a typical spinel structure and is ferrimagnetic in nature. The estimated size of superparammagnetic $MnFe_2O_4$ nanoparticle is around 17 nm. The hyperfine fields of the A and B patterns at 4.2 K were found to be 508 and 475 kOe, respectively. The blocking temperature ($T_B$) of superparammagnetic $MnFe_2O_4$ nanoparticle is about 120 K. The magnetic anisotropy constant and relaxation time constant of $MnFe_2O_4$ nanoparticle were calculated to be $4.9{\times}10^5erg/cm^3$.

Effect of reperfusion with leukocyte-depleted blood on the expression of myocardial vascular cell adhesion molecule-1 (VCAM-1) and myocardial function in isolated working heart perfusion model (단순 작업성 심관류 모델에서의 신생돈 심장의 보존 후 백혈구-제거 혈액을 이용한 재관류가 심근 VCAM-1 발현 및 심기능에 미치는 영향)

  • Background: Adhesion of leukocytes to myocardium or vascular endothelium has been known as an importation initial step in the ischemia-reperfusion injury which may affect the cardiac function. Therefore, leukocyte-depleted reperfusion may inhibit ischemia-reperfusion induced functional and ultrastructural deterioration. In this study, we quantified the time-dependent expression of the vascular cell adhesion molecule-1(VCMA-1) on piglet myocardium and demonstrated its relation to functional recovery using isolated piglet heart perfusion model. Material and Method: Neonatal(1 to 3 day old) piglet heart was harvested with 4$^{\circ}C$ University of Wisconsin solution (UWS) and presrved in the same solution for 12 hours. Ex vivo model of an isolated working neonatal piglet heart perfusion consisting of membrane oxygenator and roller-pump was used (Fig. 1). Hearts were grouped into leukocyte-non-depleted (group A, n=8) and leukocyte-depleted group(group B, n=8). In group B, hearts were reperfused with leukocyte-depleted blood using a leukocyte filter (Sepacell R, Asahi Medical, Japan). Segments of right atrium were taken before and after 1, 2, 3, and 4 hours of reperfusion for the evaluation of expression of VCAM-1. The intensity of immunohistochyemical satining of the VCAM-1 on the myocardium were graded semiquantitatively (0 to 4). For the evaluation of myocardial stroke work indices were calculated as well at the same time-points. Result: Mean expressins of VCAM-1 on the myocardium at 0, 1, 2, 3, adn 4 hours of reperfusion were 0.63, 1.44, 1.64, 2.65, and 3.34 in group A, while 0.56, 1.40, 1.50, 1.88 and 2.14 in group B (Fig. 3). Mean stroke work indices at 0.5, 1, 2, 3, and 4 hours after reperfusion were 1.35$\times$104, 1.32$\times$104, 1.14$\times$104, 0.81$\times$104, 0.68$\times$104 erg/gm in group A, while 1.40$\times$104, 1.43$\times$104, 1.43$\times$104, 1.28$\times$104, and 1.12$\times$104 erg/em in group B(Fig. 4). Conclusion : In this study, we demonstrated that leukocyte-depletion attenuated the expression of VCAM-1 during reperfusion and the time-dependent functional deterioration of the myocardium was well correlated with the degree of VCAM-1 expression.

전자파의 신경계통에 대한 영향

  • 최근 선진국가들에서는 전자파 장애 증후군에 관심이 집중되고 있는데, 전자파에 장기 노출 되는 인구에서 뇌암이나 유방암, 백혈병 등의 발생률이 높다는 보고(Kolmodin-Hedman 등, 1988 ; Demers등, 1991)가 있어서 전자제품의 생산업체는 물론이고 사용자에 대해서도 불안한 관심사가 되 어 있다. 전자파가 생체에 미치는 영향은 열적 효과와 비열적 효과에 의한 것으로 구분된다. Microwave는 약 300MHz에서 300GHz 사이(파장 1m에서 1mm사이)의 주파수를 가지는 전자파로서 이온의 운동이나 쌍극자분자(dipole molecule)들을 진동시키므로서 조직에 열이 발생한다. 열이 과도하게 발생하면 세포 단백질이 응고하게 되는 등 일반적으로 생각할 수 있는 고열로 인한 여러 가지 유해환경이 조직 에 조성될 수 있다. 실제로 고전압의 전자파에 노출된 안구의 수정체에 백내장 등의 병변이 발생한 것 으로 보고된 바 있다(Adey,1981). 일반적으로 전자파의 생체에 대한 작용으로는 이렇듯 조직에 흡수 되는 전자파의 에너지에 의한 열작용이 지배적인 것으로 생각되어 왔다. 그러나 초저주파역대(Extre- mely low frequency, EMF)의 변조 및 펄스파 등의 영향에 관해서도 조직의 온도상승으로는 설명할 수 없는 현상이 보고된 바 있다. 이러한 비열적 효과가 신경계에 끼치는 영향에 대해서는 혈액뇌관문 의 투과성 변화(Oscar와 Hawkins, 1977), 뇌종양 발생, 칼슘대사 이상 및 신경전달물질에 대한 영향 등이 주장(Anderson, 1993)되고 있으나 아직 그 분명한 기전이 밝혀져 있지 않은 상태이다. 또한 그 영향의 평가에 서도 일정한 기준이나 지표가 정해지지 않은 실정이다. 그러므로 신경계에 대한 대체적인 소개와 더불어 전자기파의 영향에 대한 이제까지의 보고를 종합 하고 향후 연구의 방향을 소개하고자 한다.> 이온이 공동 첨가제로 더 적합하다.u(30 .angs. )/CoFe(35 .angs. )/NiO(800 .angs. ) 구조를 갖는 spin-valve 박막은 극대 MR비 6.3%, 유효자기장감응도 약 0.5(%/Oe)를 보여 spin-valve head 재료로 적합함을 알 수 있었다.다.다.다.는 각각 148 meV .angs. $^{2}$, 103.8 meV .angs. $^{2}$와 1.77 * $10^{-6}$ erg/cm, 0.67 * $10^{-6}$ erg/cm 였다.다.자 노인들을 영주권자와 귀화 시민권자의 구분없이 하나의 집단으로 간주하고 분석해 왔던 것을 볼 때, 앞으로의 연구는 이론적으로나 방법론적으로 시민권의 유무가 주거형태에 끼치는 영향도 함께 고려해야 할 것이다.에 나타난 인도의 영향은 여성복식과 남성복식에 있어서 서로 유사점과 차이점이 보이는데, 인도의 영향이 여성복식에 있어서 그 빈도가 더 높고, 종류가 더 다양함을 볼 수 있다. 여성복식에 있어서는 12가지의 다양한 인도복식스타일이 나타났으며, 그중 가장 많이 보이는 스타일은 Indian Shirt/Blouse/Smock/ Dress이며, 그 뒤를 이어 Madras, Indian lowery등을 볼 수 있다. 남성복식애 나타난 7가지의 스타일 중에는 Madras가 가장 빈도가 높으며 그외의 스타일들은 그 빈도가 매우 낮음을 볼 수 있다. 인도의 영향의 정도 (Attribution Categories) 있어서는 여성과 남성복식 모두에 있어서 인도에서 직접 수입된(originated) item이 각각 전체의 90%와 81%를 차지하여, 인도복식의 영향은 받았으나 미국내에서 제작된(attributed and connotated) item 보다 휠씬 더 많은 수를 보였다. 인도복식스타일이 가장

Study on the Origin of Rapakivi Texture in Bangeojin Granite (방어진 화강암에 나타나는 라파키비 조직의 성인에 관한 연구)

  • Phenocrysts with rapakivi texture are easily observed in Bangeojin granite. The rapakivi texture is composed of inner pinkish alkali feldspars and white-colored mantling plagioclase. The Bangeojin granite distinctively includes lots of mafic microgranular enclaves and can be divided into five rock facies: (1) enclave-poor granite (EPG); (2) enclave-rich granite (ERG); (3) mafic microgranular enclave (MME); (4) hybrid zone between mafic microgranular enclave and granite (HZ); (5) hybrid zone-like enclaves (HLE). The rapakivi textures are observed in these five rock facies with no difference in shape and size. Plagioclase mantle commonly shows dendritic texture that is an important indicator to know the rapakivi genesis. The mantling texture would indicate supercooling condition during magma solidification process. In addition, mafic microgranular enclaves would imply the magma mingling environment. The magma mixing process had possibly caused the mantling texture. An abundance of rapakivi phenocrysts in HZ and the influxing phenomenon of the phenocrysts into MME support that there were physical chemical exchanges during the mingling. And this model of the magma mixing/mingling explain well the heterogeneous distribution of the rapakivi phenocrysts in the five rock facies. Therefore the rapakivi textures in the Bangeojin granite would have been formed by magma mixing process.

The estimated size of superparammagnetic $Zn_{0.5}Ni_{0.5}Fe_2O_4$ nanoparticle is around 7 nm. The hyperfine fields of the A and I patterns at 4.2 K were found to be 510 and 475 kOe, respectively. The blocking temperature $(T_B)$ of superparammagnetic $Zn_{0.5}Ni_{0.5}Fe_2O_4$ nanoparticle is about 90 K. The magnetic anisotropy constant and relaxation time constant of $Zn_{0.5}Ni_{0.5}Fe_2O_4$ nanoparticle were calculated to be $K=1.6\times10^6erg/cm^3$.

  • Die neuere Entwicklung in der Valenzlexikographie $f\"{u}hrt$ hin zum didaktisch orientierten $W\"{o}rterbuch$, in dem die $Valenzeintr\"{a}ge$ neben anderen syntaktischen und semantischen Informationen stehen. Das $Valenzlexikon/-w\"{o}rterbuch$ wendet sich vorrangig an Lehrbuchautoren und Lehrer, die im Bereich Deutsch als Fremdsprache unterrichten, sowie $sekund\"{a}r$ an fortgeschrittene Deutschlemer. Das $Valenzw\"{o}rterbuch\;enth\"{a}lt$, neben den Informationen zur Valenz, genaue morphosyntaktische und semantische Erkl\"{a}rungen$ zu den Verben und ihrer spezifischen Umgebung, ferner Hinweise zur Morphologie, Wortbildung, Passiv- $f\"{a}higkeit$, Stil und Phraseologie. Die Strukturbeschreibungen sind durch zahlreiche Verwendungsbeispiele illustriert. In Helbig/Schenkel(1969, $^{8}1991$) sind die Verben nicht alphabetisch, sondern nach formaler und inhaltlicher $Zusammengeh\"{o}rigkeit$, nach Wortfamilien, Bedeutungsfeldern und Wortbildungsmitteln angeordnet, dagegen sind in Engel/Schumacher(1976, $^{2}1978$) und Bianco{I996) die Verben alphabetisch angeordnet In der vorliegenden Arbeit wurden lexikographische Probleme der Verbvalenz- lexika von Helbig/SchenkeJ(1969, $^{8}1991$), Engel/Schumacher(I976, $^{2}1978$) und Bianco(1996) aus der Sicht auslandischer $W\"{o}rterbuchbenutzer$ diskutiert. Hinsichtlich der Lexikoneintragungen (syntaktischer sowie semantischer Informationen) $f\"{u}r$ Verben kann man erkennen, dass zwischen einzelnen Valenzlexika viele Beschreibungsunterschiede $f\"{u}r$ ein bestimmtes Verb bestehen. Man kann feststellen, dass die Informationen zur Valenz, genaue morpho- syntaktische und semantische $Erkl\"{a}rungen$ zu den Verben und ihrer spezifischen Umgebung differieren. Problematisch $f\"{u}r$ nichtmuttersprachliche $W\"{o}rterbuch$benutzer sind die Unterschiede sowohl in Bezug auf Anzahl und Art der $Erg\"{a}nzungen$ als auch in Bezug auf Angabe der $Obligatheit/Fakultativit\"{a}t$ der Korrelate(d.h. der 'Praposi- tionaladverbien' oder der 'Pronominaladverbien'). Auch die $Beispiels\"{a}tze\;mit\;satzformigen\;Erg\"{a}nzungen$(dass-Satz, zu-Inf, ob-Satz, w-Satz) sollten systema- tisch angegeben werden. Das Valenzlexikon soil ein Nachschlagewerk und ein $Lernw\"{o}rterbuch$ zur weiteren Erforschung der syntaktish-semantischen Eigenschaften der deutschen Verben sein. Es ist zu hoffen, dass Valenzlexika als ein wichtiges Hilfsmittel $f\"{u}r$ das Fach Deutsch als Fremdsprache, das sich auf Theone und Praxis des Deutschunterrichts auswirken wird, noch an Bedeutung gewinnen $k\"{o}nnen$.

Characteristics of Magnetic Tunnel Junctions Comprising Ferromagnetic Amorphous NiFeSiB Layers (강자성 비정질 NiFeSiB 자유층을 갖는 자기터널접합의 스위칭 특성)

  • Magnetic tunnel junctions (MTJs), which consisted of amorphous ferromagnetic NiFeSiB free layers, were investigated. The NiFeSiB layers were used to substitute for the traditionally used CoFe and/or NiFe layers with the emphasis being given to obtaining an understanding of the effect of the amorphous free layer on the switching characteristics of the MTJs. $Ni_{16}Fe_{62}Si_{8}B_{14}$ has a lower saturation magnetization ($M_{s}:\;800\;emu/cm^{3}$) than $Co_{90}Fe_{10}$ and a higher anisotropy constant ($K_{u}:\;2700\;erg/cm^{3}$) than $Ni_{80}Fe_{20}$. The $Si/SiO_{2}/Ta$ 45/Ru 9.5/IrMn 10/CoFe $7/AlO_{x}/CoFeSiB\;(t)/Ru\;60\;(in\;nanometers)$structure was found to be beneficial for the switching characteristics of the MTJ, leading to a reduction in the coercivity ($H_{c}$) and an increase in the sensitivity resulted from its lower saturation magnetization and higher uniaxial anisotropy. Furthermore, by inserting a very thin CoFe layer at the tunnel barrier/NiFeSiB interface, the TMR ratio and switching squareness were improved more with the increase of NiFeSiB layer thickness up to 11 nm.

Fabrication and Magnetic Properties of Ba Ferrite Powders by Sol-gel Process (졸겔법에 의한 Ba-ferrite분말의 제조 및 자기적 특성 연구)

  • M-type hexagonal BaFe$\sub$12/O$\sub$19/ ferrite powder was prepared by sol-gel process. The M-type hexagonal structure with ${\alpha}$ = 5.882 and c = 23.215 ${\AA}$ and its Curie temperature T$\sub$C/ was determined 780${\pm}$3 K. The isomer shifts of ,4f$_2$, 2a. 4f$_1$, 12k, and 2b were indicated 0.26, 0.24, 0.15, 0.25, and 0.24 mm/s, therefore, the valence states of the Fe ions were ferric (Fe$\^$3+/). By the law of approach to saturation (LAS), the effective anisotropy field H$\sub$A/ and crystalline anisotropy constant K$_1$ were estimated. The value of K$_1$ and H$\sub$A/ were K$_1$ = 2.5${\times}$10$\^6/erg/cm^3$ and H$\sub$A/ = 14 kOe, respectively.
