  • ADD is under development for the high speed motor. This paper describes the test results for obtaining the maximum output by leading angle of encoder. So we carried out the test for obtaining the optimum leading angle of encoder. Maximum output 80[Kw] at 20,000[rpm] was obtained at leading angle of encoder at near $22^{\circ}$. We confirmed the maximum output 106[kw] of 25,000[rpm] at leading angle of encoder at $34.6^{\circ}$.

  • This paper presents a software design and implementation of software-defined radio based IEEE 802.11ac encoder using Texas Instruments TMS320C6670 digital signal processor (DSP) platform. In this paper, the implemented encoder has the capability of generating all the signals consisting of preamble field and data field under different modulation & coding scheme in the IEEE 802.11ac standard. Moreover, the flexibility in choosing different rate, bandwidth, or mode can also be achieved by software reconfiguration using the DSP. As a result, by utilizing the computing power provided by multi-cores as well as the FFT coprocessors in the DSP, the required maximum throughput 78Mbps can be fully reached within 4 ㎲ for each OFDM symbol in the case of 20MHz bandwidth of IEEE 802.11ac.

  • The advanced in semiconductor, hardware, and software technologies enables the integration of more com- plex systems and the increasing design complexity. As system design complexity becomes more complicated, System-level design based on the If block and processor model is more needed in most of the RTL level or low level. In this paper, we present a novel approach fur the system-level design, which satisfies the various required constraints and an optimization method of image encoder based on codesign of function, algorithm, and architecture. In addition, we show an MPEG-4 encoder as a design case study. The best tradeoffs between algorithm and architecture are necessary to deliver the design with satisfying performance and area constraints. The evaluations provide the effective optimization of motion estimation, which is in charge of an amount of performance in the MPEG-4 encoder module.

An Analog Encoder for Precise Angle Control of SRM

  • In a switched reluctance motor drive, it is important to synchronize the stator phase excitation with the rotor position, because the position of rotor is an essential information. Although high resolution optical encoders or resolvers are used to provide a precise position information, these sensors are expensive. Moreover, in the high-speed region, switching angles are fluctuated back and forth out of the preset value, which is caused by the sampling period of the microprocessor. In this paper, a low cost analog encoder suitable for practical applications is proposed. And the control algorithm to generate switching signals using a Simple digital logic is presented. The validity of the proposed analog encoder with a proper logic controller is verified from the experiments.

  • This paper describes the ultra precise position estimation of a servomotor using sinusoidal encoder based on Arcsine Interpolation Method. The amplitude and offset errors of the sinusoidal encoder output signals are effectively compensated and on-line tuned by utilizing a low cost programmable differential amp without any special expensive equipments. To theoretically evaluate the practical resolution of this system, the relationship between the amplitude of A/D converter input signal errors and the anticipated resolution is briefly dealt with. The performance of the proposed method is verified by the experiments, by comparing it with position and speed control characteristics of the servomotor driving system using a digital incremental 50,000ppr encoder.

  • Pervasive enhancement and required enforcement of the Internet of Things (IoTs) in a distributed massively multiplayer online architecture have effected in massive growth of Big-Data in terms of server over-load. There have been some previous works to overcome the overloading of server works. However, there are lack of considered methods, which is commonly applicable. Therefore, we propose a combing Sparse Auto-Encoder and Load-Balancing, which is ProGReGA for Big-Data of server loads. In the process of Sparse Auto-Encoder, when it comes to selection of the feature-pattern, the less relevant feature-pattern could be eliminated from Big-Data. In relation to Load-Balancing, the alleviated degradation of ProGReGA can take advantage of the less redundant feature-pattern. That means the most relevant of Big-Data representation can work. In the performance evaluation, we can find that the proposed method have become more approachable and stable.

  • 본 논문에서는 Semi-supervised Learning 방식의 이상감지 방법을 제안한다. 취득한 소음 데이터를 이미지화 시킨 후 Convolution AutoEncoder 학습 방법을 이용하여 모델을 학습한다. 고장 데이터와 정상 데이터 간의 데이터 불균형 문제가 대두되기 때문에 정상 데이터만을 활용한 이상감지는 실제 산업현장의 상황에 알맞게 사용할 수 있을 것이라 기대한다.

Deep Reference-based Dynamic Scene Deblurring

  • Dynamic scene deblurring is a complex computer vision problem owing to its difficulty to model mathematically. In this paper, we present a novel approach for image deblurring with the help of the sharp reference image, which utilizes the reference image for high-quality and high-frequency detail results. To better utilize the clear reference image, we develop an encoder-decoder network and two novel modules are designed to guide the network for better image restoration. The proposed Reference Extraction and Aggregation Module can effectively establish the correspondence between blurry image and reference image and explore the most relevant features for better blur removal and the proposed Spatial Feature Fusion Module enables the encoder to perceive blur information at different spatial scales. In the final, the multi-scale feature maps from the encoder and cascaded Reference Extraction and Aggregation Modules are integrated into the decoder for a global fusion and representation. Extensive quantitative and qualitative experimental results from the different benchmarks show the effectiveness of our proposed method.
