A study of refraction state of middle aged & manhood in Daegu (대구지역 중·장년층의 굴절상태 연구)

  • This study researched the visual acuity test object and Auto-refractormeter, visual of near power. The object were composed of middle aged, the old men and women who in habit Daegu. The results were as follows : 1. The subjects consisted of 537 people, 29.98% men, 70.02% women. 2. The emmetropia was 1.12% for myopia, 2.79% for hyperopia, 96.09% for astigmatism. 3. The abnormal refraction was composition for myopic compound astigmatism(16.57%), hyperopia compound astigmatism(45.62%), Mixed astigmatism(33.89%). 4. On the Myopic Spherical Equivalent(S.E) power, the range of -0.50D ${\leq}$ M.S.E < -1.00D was 21.67%, -1.00D ${\leq}$ M.S.E < -2.00D was 48.89%, -2.00D ${\leq}$ M.S.E < -6.00D was 29.44%. 5. On the Hyperopic Spherical Equivalent(S.E) power, the range of +0.50D ${\leq}$ H.S.E < +1.00D was 28.57%, +1.00D ${\leq}$ H.S.E < +2.00D was 49.30%, +2.00D ${\leq}$ H.S.E < +6.00D was 23.13%. 6. The addition power was 1.00D(8.01%), 1.50D(8.57%), 2.00D(13.78%), 2.50D(16.57%), 3.00D(16.95%), 3.50D(17.88%), 4.00D(18.25%).

La méthodologie de lecture de la didascalie dans le théâtre contemporain (<현대희곡에서 지문 읽기의 방법적 고찰>)

  • De notre temps, nous faisons face ${\grave{a}}$ un changement du $th{\hat{e}}atre$ dans son ensemble. Le $th{\acute{e}}atre$ contemporain tente de se $d{\acute{e}}marquer$ des autres formes artistiques, mais aussi des formes $litt{\acute{e}}raires$, lorsque la tendance est ${\grave{a}}$ la fusion des genres. Il existe ainsi de plus en plus de $th{\hat{e}}atre$ ${e}xp{\acute{e}}rimentaux$, $n{\acute{e}}s$ sous le nom de $th{\acute{e}}atre$ anthropologique, $th{\acute{e}}atre$ sociologique, $th{\acute{e}}atre$ ethnologique, $th{\acute{e}}atre$ ${\acute{e}}pist{\acute{e}}miologique$ ou $th{\acute{e}}{\hat{a}}tre$ interculturel. La $m{\acute{e}}thodologie$ doit elle s'adapter ${\grave{a}}$ cette tendance de fusion? Au lieu de trouver une $m{\acute{e}}thode$ d'anlyse de chaque "nouveaux genre" $n{\acute{e}}$ de la fusion, nous nous interrogeons sur la $m{\acute{e}}thodologie$ pour ${\acute{e}}tudier$ le $th{\hat{e}}atre$ dans son ensemble. Si une telle $m{\acute{e}}thodologie$ d'analyse existait, quelle serait la $diff{\acute{e}}rence$ avec la $m{\acute{e}}thodologie$ $d{\acute{e}}j{\grave{a}}$ existante? Et si elle n'existait pas, quelle serait la meilleure $m{\acute{e}}thodologie$ $adapt{\acute{e}}e$? Nous $consid{\acute{e}}rons$ la $m{\acute{e}}thode$ d'analyse de la didascalie comme nouvelle $m{\acute{e}}thodologie$ $adapt{\acute{e}}e$. En effet, la didascalie $conna{\hat{i}}t$ sans cesse des $m{\acute{e}}tamorphoses$ dans $l^{\prime}{\acute{e}}criture$. De nombreux $th{\acute{e}}oriciens$ ont $d{\acute{e}}velopp{\acute{e}}$ des $m{\acute{e}}thodes$ d'analyse afin de mieux comprendre les diverses formes de $th{\acute{e}}atre$ comtemporain et ses didascalies. Notre travail est de rassembler les ${\acute{e}}tudes$ des $diff{\acute{e}}rents$ $th{\acute{e}}oriciens$ et de les ordonner ; afin de proposer un outil d'analyse $adapt{\acute{e}}$ pour $l^{\prime}interpr{\acute{e}}tation$ des $pi{\grave{e}}ces$ du $th{\acute{e}}{\hat{a}}tre$ contemporain.

Experimental research for the machining conditions of E. D. M (E.D.M 가공저간에 관한 실험적 연구)

  • This research is a experimental study for the machining conditions of E. D. M. They were used Cu electrode and the various amplitude of current waves for the machining by E.D.M. By the analyse the characteristics of current, voltage, roughness of surface and over cut, the next results were obtained. E.D.M. machining time become to be more longer by the increasing the tensile stress. In case of NAK 55 as the composite resin, the machining time was more faster without the relationship for the tensile stress. And if it was more increased the amplitude of Ip, it has been more faster in the machining time and more poor in the surface roughness. But it was increased Ip with 5A, it has been increased 0.3 time in over cut. So, if we want to be the precision machining, the diameter of the electrode should be more smaller than the diameter of machined hole in workpiece with E.D.M.

Effect of Aucklandia lappa Decne Extract on Antioxidant

  • In the present study, we investigated the antioxidant activity of Aucklandia lappa Decne (AL). Cell viability was measured in an MTT assay. Antioxidant effects were evaluated based on total polyphenol/flavonoid contents, ABTS radical scavenging activity, DPPH radical scavenging activity, SOD activity, and ROS content. AL was found not to be toxic at concentrations of 1 ㎍/mL, 10 ㎍/mL, and 100 ㎍/mL, respectively. The phenolic content was higher in AL-D than in AL-E, while the flavonoid content was higher in AL-E than in AL-D. AL-E exhibited higher ABTS radical scavenging activity than AL-D, and the EC50 values for BHA were 217.1 ㎍/mL in AL-D and 180.5 ㎍/mL in AL-E. AL-E also showed the highest DPPH radical scavenging activity. EC50 values for BHA were 114.2 ㎍/mL in AL-D and 95.8 ㎍/mL in AL-E. The SOD-like activity of AL-E was higher than that of AL-D. The EC50 values for ascorbic acid were 48.5 ㎍/mL in AL-D and 72.9 ㎍/mL in AL-E, indicating that both AL extracts have a SOD activity higher than that of ascorbic acid. AL-E reduced relatively more ROS than AL-D. With 100 ㎍/mL AL-E, the reduction level was almost similar to that of dexamethasone. Our results demonstrate that AL have antioxidant effects, and we believe that they could be very valuable as raw materials for anti-aging products, based on their antioxidant activity.

Le Lien de Causalit$\acute{e}$ et la Prescription Extinctive en Mati$\acute{e}$re de Responsabilit$\acute{e}$ M$\acute{e}$dicale en Droit Français (프랑스법상 의사책임분야(醫事責任分野)에서의 인과관계와 소멸시효론에 관한 소고)

  • Dans le contentieux m$\acute{e}$dical, il est difficile de prouver l'existence d'un lien de causalit$\acute{e}$ entre la faute m$\acute{e}$dicale et les pr$\acute{e}$judices subis par la victime. R$\acute{e}$partir bien de façon raisonnable la charge de la preuve du lien causal est alors une des questions pr$\acute{e}$occup$\acute{e}$es par la doctrine cor$\acute{e}$enne. La Cour supr$\hat{e}$me cor$\acute{e}$enne semble toutefois facilliter l'indemnisation des victimes dans les cas o$\grave{u}$ la responsabilit$\acute{e}$ du m$\acute{e}$decin a ${\acute{e}}t{\acute{e}}$ mise en cause, et cela en admettant des fois une solution op$\acute{e}$rant un renversement de la charge de la preuve du lien causal. Une telle attitude a ${\acute{e}}t{\acute{e}}$ m$\hat{e}$me affirm$\acute{e}$e dans un arr$\hat{e}$t rendu r$\acute{e}$cemment en cas de dommage caus$\acute{e}$ par le fait du produit de sant$\acute{e}$, notamment pour le cas de contamination virale par voie de transfusion. La Cour a $\acute{e}$galement reconnu que l'action se pr$\acute{e}$scrit $\grave{a}$ partir du moment de la consolidation du pr$\acute{e}$judice. Aux termes de cette $\acute{e}$tude, on pourra constater que le juge français reconna$\hat{i}$t aussi l'assouplissement de la charge de la preuve du lien de causalit$\acute{e}$ en mati$\acute{e}$re d'action m$\acute{e}$dicale. Il faudra toutefois souligner que le ph$\acute{e}$nom$\acute{e}$ne ne soit pas g$\acute{e}$n$\acute{e}$ralis$\acute{e}$ en droit français, d'autant plus que la pr$\acute{e}$somption de l'existence de la causalit$\acute{e}$ en la mati$\grave{e}$re a $\acute{e}$t$\acute{e}$ admise de mani$\grave{e}$re restrictive par la l$\acute{e}$gislation sp$\acute{e}$cifique. Tel $\acute{e}$tait notamment le cas pour les accidents de la contamination par le virus du sida ou de l'h$\acute{e}$patite C survenus apr$\grave{e}$s la transfusion. En d$\acute{e}$finitive, on peut dire qu'en droit français, le principe est maintenu en cas de manquement $\grave{a}$ une obligation de r$\acute{e}$sultat n$\acute{e}$e du contrat m$\acute{e}$dical, tandis que la Cour de cassation admet parfois en mati$\grave{e}$re de droit commun de la responsabilit$\acute{e}$ contractuelle la pr$\acute{e}$somption de causalit$\acute{e}$ en cas d'inex$\acute{e}$cution des obligations de r$\acute{e}$sultat. En fait, la pr$\acute{e}$somption de causalit$\acute{e}$ dans le contentieux m$\acute{e}$dical pourra mener les m$\acute{e}$decins $\grave{a}$ se diriger vers les traitements d$\acute{e}$fensifs. Cette situation peut m$\hat{e}$me conduire $\grave{a}$ emp$\hat{e}$cher le d$\acute{e}$veloppement de la science m$\acute{e}$dicale, enfin $\grave{a}$ une situation d$\acute{e}$savantageuse aux patients. Il y a alors lieu de se m$\acute{e}$fier des int$\acute{e}$r$\hat{e}$ts d$\acute{e}$s$\acute{e}$quilibr$\acute{e}$s entre le m$\acute{e}$decin et le patient. De ce point de vue, on peut estimer que le droit français donne des suggestions aux juristes cor$\acute{e}$ens dans la recherche des solutions plus ad$\acute{e}$quates en ce qui concerne la charge de la preuve du lien causal en mati$\acute{e}$re de responsabilit$\acute{e}$ m$\acute{e}$dicale.

  • Effects of Estradiol-$17\beta(E_2)$ and 2, 4-dichlorophenoxy acetic acid (2, 4-D) on vitellogenin(VTG) production were investigated in primary hepatocyte culture of olive flounder, Paralichthys olivaceus. Highest survival rate of hepatocyte were observed at $27^{\circ}C$, which markedly declined equal to 50% of those of $15^{\circ}C$. Vitellogenin production peaked at the concentration of $10^{-6}M\;E_2$. No effect was observed on VTG production at various concentrations of 2, 4-D. However, a low concentration of 2, 4-D (ie, $10^{-8}M$) only appeared increased VTG production. $E_2$ or $10^{-8}M$ 2, 4-D-primed VTG production was markedly inhibited by the addition of $10^{-6}M$ tamoxifen to the culture medium(P<0.01). Inhibition was not affected by combinational treatment with $10^{-6}M$ $E_2$ and $10^{-6}M$ 2, 4-D. These results from the current investigation suggest that 2, 4-D mimics $E_2$, but the mechanism of reaction in inducing the $E_2$ receptor are different in VTG production in oliver flounder hepatocytes.

Studies on the Polarographic Kinetic Currents for the First Order Reactions at the Droping Mercury Electrode (水銀滴下電極에서 一次反應에 對한 포라로그라프電流에 關한 硏究)

  • Solution to the diffusion layer for the first order reaction at a droping mercury electrode (D.M.E.) is presented. Equations are derived for polarographic currents for the reactions at the D.M.E. A factor which is applicable to the D.M.E. is derived, when we use the equations of the polarographic currents for the reactions at a plane electrode(P.E.), and the rate constants of the backward reactions are negligibly small. Polarographic currents from a combination of diffusions and reactions are obtained at the D.M.E. with special approximation. Rate constant for the reaction of ferrous ion with hydrogen-peroxide is determined at the D.M.E.,using the data of Kolthoff and Perry. The agreement of the equation with the data of Kolthoff and Perry for the kinetic current of ferric ion in the presence of hydrogen-peroxide is good. Ratios of diffusion layer at the D.M.E. to the diffusion layer at the P.E. are discussed and show that, when the rate constants of the backward reactions for the first order reactions are larger than 1/0.05 sec-1. and drop-time about 3 sec., these ratioes are about one.
