This research investigates the rising new role of mileage system as private e-money in a exploratory study. The key research questions are 'How does mileage system evolve with expansion of e-business and what are the cases for real experiences in 'money-like' mileage and their implications?' This research focuses on the proposition that mileage points created in commercial transactions as a royalty program are observed to serve a new role as payment tool. In an attempt to identify factors that determine mileage system as private money, we employ three factors: confidence, transaction cost, and monetary freedom. Also, this research proposes a direction for further research and follow-up studies to establish legal and institutional issues and the relevant architecture, all of which are essential elements to make the mileage points global money with a certain trade ratio in the near future.

Today as the scale of e-commerce constantly expands, the number and the amount of the consumer frauds are also increasing very rapidly, without sufficient levels of systematic support to prevent them. Internet Escrow service is one of the promising payment mechanisms, which guarantees secure electronic trades and payments. Especially, if the real-time product delivery information is available via RFID-based track-and-trace environment, the security and efficiency of the Internet Escrow services would be improved a lot. In this research, proposed a novel approach to integrate EPCglobal Network, which is a de-facto standard for RFID-based information network model, with Internet Escrow services. The proposed service model was implemented in the form of "Integrated Financial Platform", which supports the contracts among trading partners and the payment via Escrow services by being fully integrated with bank systems. Using the implemented EPCglobal Network-based Escrow service system, we would be able not only to shorten the money-flow cycle and to develop new kinds of loan services, but also to overcome the problems of existing Escrow services including the lack of product-related information and the delay of purchasing decisions.

The e-Trade environment has enabled the complex trade processes to be automated using e-Trade information systems, which had been manually processed through many trade-related parties in the past. Korea has completed the development of the most advanced e-Trade platform called "u-Trade Hub," which can process automatically all the trade-related activities from marketing to payment. It is anticipated for the world trade environment to have more FTAs throughout the world and this will complicate the trade processes more and more in the future. This means the constant cost-bearing updates of the e-Trade environment to adapt the process changes brought by new FTAs with other countries. In this paper, we propose the systematic approach to easily as well as less costly adapt the possible trade process changes resulted from the future FTAs by adopting a rule base management system. The prototype system to test the applicability of the proposed approach is developed using Win-Prolog 4.8 environment.

Mobile agents based e-commerce system has many advantage than traditional e-commerce-information gathering on goods, price settlement and payment, delivery of the goods purchased, and so on. However, due to the security vulnerability that stems from mobile agent's mobility, mobile agents based e-commerce system has additional security problems. Therefore, in order to do e-commerce securely in th system, first of al the security issues on mobile agents must be addressed. It this paper, we propose a mobile agent transfer protocol that provides confidentiality and integrity of mobile agent in transit and mutual authentication for communicating hosts. We further show the security of the protocol against many possible attacks. Also, we suggest the location management mechanism of mobile agents based on the trust center. This mechanism is capable of finding their locations transparently and detecting mobile agent clones.

It is needed to search the electronic commerce standardization and to analysis its policies to meet the international situations strategically and forecast the technology surroundings for electronic commerce. This study aims at searching the current state of electronic commerce standardization and analyzing policies on electronic commerce by the driving subject, that is, government and private organization, major countries, and standard classifications of electronic commerce technologies such as e-documents, e-catalog, e-payment, and e-process. The government and private organizations get information for the current state and policies for standardization on electronic commerce and put them practical use to make policies and strategy applications.

Northeast Asia is expected to be on economic bloc which is competed with other economic blocs such as EU, NAFTA. E-Commerce based on IT and networking results in paradigm shift in Northeast Asian Nations, that is, Korea, China, Japan, Taiwan etc. There are the similarities and differences in e-Commerce situations in these nations. The differences are the gaps in e-Commerce infrastructures such as Internet, e-Commerce solution, e-payment system and e-logistics system etc. A number of interorganizational, intraorganizational and usage level factors influences the performances of all firms using e-Commerce tools. As result of this empirical study, China records low level of e-Commerce in terms of environmental aspects, usage and performance while Korea and Japan record relatively high levels. It is also found that non-economic performance is higher than economic performance in Northeast Asian firms. The purpose of this paper contributes to resolve the digital divide in Northeast Asia and to improve e-Commerce infrastructures in Northeast Asia by estimating current e-Commerce levels of Northeast Asian countries and suggesting future development strategies of those countries through e-Commerce cooperation.

Traditional market for arcade game is downsized due to limited offline services. This paper suggests O2O service which is a combination of NFC technology and traditional arcade game. O2O service available by installing NFC tag in the gaming machines and operating by smartphone. This allows convenient payment service along with continuity of gameplay. Furthermore applying ranking, statistics and replays will vitalize communities such as fan clubs and highlight local rankers into popular gaming stars. Offline gallery can be expanded to online via O2O service. Local stars and online gallery will lead arcade gaming platform to E sports. This paper covers servers and applications regarding O2O service in addition to their functions and expected outcome.

This paper takes a close look at technology related services of e-Commerce companies from the viewpoint of B2C customers. The goal is to determine at which specific points of the customer purchase journey changes should occur, to address consumers' personal needs more effectively. All ten technologies examined fall into one of the following steps of the customer purchase journey: Decision Making, Payment Methods, and Delivery. AHP was utilized to clarify the preferences of millennials from Germany and Korea. The findings show that factors such as country of origin and gender had an impact on the preferences of the survey participants. In case of Germany, women replied that a change in Payment Methods would lead to significant enhancement of their shopping experiences, whereas men favored Decision Making. As for Korea, both genders stated that Decision Making should be the focus of marketers' efforts. One of the main findings was that participants from Germany and Korea exhibited different tastes in the use of technologies. Germans preferred functional technologies, whereas Koreans favored technologies which are more engaging and entertaining.

Electronic commerce, the act of trading online, with its myriad of potential has been seldom looked at within the context of developing countries. E-commerce presents SMEs in developing economies the opportunity to adequately compete on a global stage. The exponential growth of e-commerce in developed economies further widens the financial gap between developed and developing economies. This study looks at a practical e-commerce adoption framework for Ghanaian SMEs and by extension, developing economies and looks at the net benefits that are available to current adopters. The study uses structural equation modeling, using Partial least squares (PLS) regression to analyze the data in the research. Using PLS algorithms as well as bootstrapping calculations. It combines the use of surveys (154) and interviews (38) as means of data collection. The findings of the research indicate that there is a need for legislation on e-commerce trading to regulate the trade in Ghana, with policies such as e-contracting and e-signature laws among others. Also, a current call for an expansion of the mobile payment methods within the country. For the private investor, a ripe market for logistics services. The study also proposes a simple guideline for SMEs looking to adopt or expand their e-commerce usage, that considers technological, organizational and environmental factors that come to play within e-commerce adoption.

This paper is to propose the Direction for the institutional improvement of Financial Supply Chain Management(FSCM) Solution which are currently coming into operation under Global e-Trading Platform. The Financial Supply Chain compromise the entire trade processes and information that manage a trader's cash, Accounts payable and receivable, Risk, working capital, and so on in international trade transaction. From a buyer's perspective, this involves the full procurement-to-payment process. For the seller, it is the order-to-cash cycle. Bolero provides the party concerned a e-trade platform which conformed to these fundamental pre-requisites to underpin fully electronic trade. But this FSCM solution have failed to provide the efficient platform to effectively manage the process of Global e-Trade because it does not correspond with e-Trade environment. Therefore, present FSCM system need the institutional improvement as follows: AA) Strengthening the role of the correspondent Bank under e-Trade System, BB) Extending the function of e-Trade intermediary institution, CC) The introduction of Trade Insurance System, etc. So, by streamlining and automating these processes on an open and flexible platform, The party concerned can optimize their trade transaction and maintain better relations with their business partners
