  • 본 논문은 현장에 운전 중인 모터를 효율적으로 고압 모터 감시 및 진단 기법을 검토하고 현장에 보다 적합한 고압모터 감시 및 진단 시스템을 설계 및 개발에 관하여 기술하였다. 고압 모터의 감시 및 진단 방법은 MCSA(Motor Current Signature Analysis) 기법을 기반으로 하여 순시전력, 공극토크, 진동분석 등 다양한 기법이 있으며 이 기법을 적용한 시스템이 출시되고 있다. 그러나 사용자의 요구 및 편이가 반영되지 않아 그대로 적용하기에는 어려움이 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 국내의 실정 및 사용자의 편이 맞도록 진단 시스템을 개발 필요성이 요구되어 다양한 검출 요소를 종합적으로 이용한 보다 현장에 적합하고 유용한 모터 감시 시스템을 설계하였다.

  • The emergency AC power supply system of the nuclear power plant is designed to supply the power to the nuclear reactor at the emergency operating condition. The safety function of the diesel generator at the nuclear power plant is to supply AC electric power to the plant safety system whenever the preferred AC power supply is unavailable. The reliable operation of onsite emergency diesel generator should be ensured by a conditioning monitoring system designed to maintain and monitor and forecast the reliability level of diesel generator. To do this kind of diesel generator condition monitoring we reviewed several operating factors and history of the wolsong unit 3 diesel generator and selected the proper conditioning monitoring operating factors.

  • A DSP-based source current control for power conditioner is presented to compensate current harmonics and asymmetries of three-phase four-wire emergency generators caused by nonlinear and/or unbalanced loads. There-phase voltage type converter with split-dc-capacitor is adopted as the power circuit and a new direct source current control method is suggested, which simplifies the controller. The proposed control method shapes the generator current sinusoidally inphase with the voltage and allows the generator to supply maximum power even to single phase loads. An IGBT base lookVA prototype with the controller realized with a DSP (TMS320C32) is built and tested to verify the performance of the power conditioner.

  • Hybrid power system has a power balanced controller to equilibrate generation power with a load demand and it is composed of DC bus-type power systems. And all of power generators in hybrid power system can be equivalent to current-source characteristics. So this paper discusses power balance control for photovoltaic/wind/diesel hybrid power system. And through the results of simulation, the proposed scheme was verified.

  • In reccent years the large capacity underground power transmission systems have been required gradually with the increasing demand of electric power, the increasing electric power system and the environmental limitations of an overhead transmission line in the city. But it is difficult to get the space for the underground power transmission lines because of complicated distributions of underground public facilities. But as the superconducting power cables have the large power transmission capacity, the high power transmission density, and low loss characteristics in comparison with a conventional cable, the necessity for their development are increasing. In this paper, the results of the conceptual design of HTS power cable is described.

  • Among the alternative energy sources, the solar energy is recognized as an important energy source and its application is increasing. Especially in future, the hybrid solar energy generation system with battery will be widely used as an independent distributed power generation system. In this paper, a solar power hybrid home generation system using a contact-less power supply (CPS) that can transfer an electric power without any mechanical contact by using magnetic coupling instead of the power transfer by directly supplying the DC power to the home electric system is proposed. The proposed system consists of a ZVS boost converter, a half bridge LLC resonant converter and contact-less transformer.

  • Direct Carbon Fuel Cells (DCFCs) generates electricity directly converting the chemical energy in coal. In the present study, effects of anode and current collector materials on the power density of DCFC are investigated experimentally. The adopted DCFC system is combined type of solid oxide fuel cells (SOFC) and molten carbonate fuel cells (MCFC) with the use of a liquid-molten salt anode and a solid oxide electrolyte, proposed by SRI. Power densities of 25 mm button cells with various combination of anode materials and current collector materials are measured.

  • The SVC(Static Var Compensator) resulted from the FACTS technology can generate or absorb reactive power rapidly so as to increase the transient and voltage stability. In this paper, the SVC is applied to the power system in order to improve the total transfer capability from a viewpoint of static voltage stability and the effects of application of the SVC to the power system are analyzed. The IPLAN, which is a high level language used with PSS/E program, is employed for determining the total transfer capability.

  • This paper describes a power flow method for distribution systems, applying the method of symmetrical component to back/forward sweep method. The proposed algorithm is effective for unbalanced radial distribution system, with process of AVR(Auto Voltage Regulator), shunt capacitor. The proposed method was compared with the conventional Back/forward sweep method by using three phase unbalanced distribution systems of 123 nodes.
