  • This paper describes a high voltage high power DC power supply which has the ability of pulsed mode operation. The power supply Is constructed with several series connected power converters based on modified multilevel converters. The modified multilevel converters are suitable for the protection of frequent output short-circuit. The output dc power of the proposed converter can be disconnected from the load within several hundred microseconds at the instant of short-circuit fault. The rising time of the dc load voltage is as small as several hundred microseconds, and there is no overshoot of the do voltage because the dc output capacitors keep undischarged state. Analysis, simulations, and experiments are carried out to Investigate the operation and usefulness of the proposed scheme.

  • This paper is to design an optimum power conversion device for the system required for development of a low cost 3-phase power inverter. For this purpose, in order to meet with endurance required by the industry, failure mode is standardized to guarantee lifetime of a power semiconductor by monitoring real time power loss and to facilitate failure mode analysis. As normality of heat loss of a power semiconductor is identified remaining in a certain range by comparing heat rise slope between that is calculated by using average current or average loss and that is measured at a heat sink, its feasibility is confirmed by experiment.

  • This paper presents the methods to solve the problem about Power System Protection Program(PROSET) and describe the database relation and schema with UML. PROSET is a overall program system to protect power system and correct it. In the context of the PROSET it is so difficult to edit database data when topology is changed. When the renewal of data is performed. all changed values are disappeared. Therefore, it will not be expected to know the present situation by using the information of the databases data. So it is necessary to solve this problem. Solution is copy of the user. Only E.R diagram is used to express database schema and relation. So, in this paper, UML(Unified Modeling Language) will be used to express PROSET and database of MCD-H and MDT-H.

  • A contact-less power supply system (CPS) allows electrical energy to supply to mobile consumers without any electrical or mechanical contact. CPS works in the same principle as a transformer, with the track litz cable forming the primary circuit and the pickup as the secondary. The track power supply generates the high frequency alternating current in the track cable. The captured AC magnetic field generated by the track conductors produces electrical energy in the pickup coil and the pickup rectifier converts the high frequency AC power to DC while regulating the power to the load. This paper presents the theoretical analysis, simulation and experiment리 results of the series-parallel resonant converter working as contact-less power supply system.

  • 점차적으로 늘어나는 전력 수요의 공급을 원활히 하기 위해서 발전 설비 뿐만 아니라 전력을 전송하기 위한 전력케이블의 증설도 반드시 필요하다. 하지만 대부분의 도심지에 전력을 공급하기 위한 전력케이블의 증설은 추가적인 케이블의 설치공사를 위한 공간을 필요로 하고 현재 국내 도심지에 케이블 설치를 위한 공간이 부족한 실정이다. 이에 동일한 사이즈로 더 많은 전력을 전송할 수 있는 초전도 전력 케이블은 부족한 케이블의 설치공간을 극복할 수 있는 대안으로 등장하였다. 하지만 대용량의 전력 전송의 이점을 가지고 있는 초전도 전력케이블은 교류 시스템에서의 일부 손실을 가지고 있다. 따라서 교류 전력 전송 시스템에서 초전도 전력 케이블을 도입하기 위해서는 교류손실의 설계 및 분석이 반드시 필요하다. 이에 본 논문에서는 다양한 초전도 전력케이블의 교류 손실 분석을 통하여 실제 초전도 전력 케이블의 제조 및 실계통 적용에 고려하고자 한다. 단일 초전도 선재에 대한 교류 손실의 이론적인 계산 방법은 존재하지만 많은 수로 구성된 초전도 전력 케이블의 교류손실 계산은 쉽지가 않다. 저자는 초전도의 E-J (Electric field-current density) 특성이 고려된 전자기적 유한요소해석법을 이용하여 다양한 종류의 초전도 전력케이블 교류 손실을 분석하고자 한다. 또한 본 초전도 전력케이블의 교류손실 특성 분석은 실계통에 적용될 초전도 전력케이블의 설계 및 개발에 중요한 요소로 작용될 것이다.   • For the application of simultaneous $DeSO_{2}\;&\;DeNO_{x}$ equipment using non-thermal plasma process to the industrial and power plants, the many types of plasma device and process were studied. The e-beam and pulsed plasma corona discharge process are outstanding for the study to apply commercial large-scale plant from among these. In this paper, non-thermal plasma of technical trends and the characteristics of system developed by Doosan heavy industries & construction Co., Ltd. are explained. We have researched pulsed plasma corona discharge process since 1994. At the basis of reasonable results for the pilot plant, we constructed the demonstration plant at a domestic coal-fired power plant in 1999, as the previous step for commercial use. In near future, enough information about designs and costs of commercial-size system will be obtained.

리브의 높이가 난류 및 열전달특성에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Rib Height on Turbulence and Convective Heat Transfer)

  • Effect of rib heights is found as significant parameter to enhance convective heat transfer performance under laminar and low turbulent regime. Circular ribs with different ribheight to channel height ratios, e/H = 0.05, 0.1, 0.15, are fabricated over the copper substrate respectively in a rectangular duct having 7.5 cross sectional aspect ratio. Only one rib pitch to rib height ratio (P/e = 10) has been chosen for all different height ribs. The result shows that the arithmetic average of turbulence intensity decreases with decreasing roughness height calculated between two ribs under laminar and low turbulent region. It occurs because the area of recirculation and reattachment zone also decreases with decreasing rib height. Optimum thermal enhancement factor is derived by 0.1 rib height to channel height ratio under low turbulent region but 0.15 rib height to channel height ratio gives maximum subjected to laminar flow.

초임계수에서 Cephradine 산화반응속도 (Fundamental Kinetics of Cephradine Oxidation in Supercritical Water)

  • The objective of this study was to investigate the destruction efficiency and to determine the fundamental parameters of oxidation kinetics under the supercritical water(SCW) condition. Target material was cephradine, toxic and antibiotic material, in the pharmaceutical wastewater. For this purpose, the effect of reaction temperature and oxidant were investigated on the destruction efficiency of cephradine. And the oxidation kinetics of cephradine was derived by using a empirical power-law model. The experiment was carried out in a cylindrical batch reactor made of Hastelloy C-276 which was endurable high temperature and pressure. The destruction efficiency of cephradine increased with increment of the temperature and reaction time. Also the type of oxidants was effected and oxidants(Air and $H_2O$$_2$) were enhanced the destruction efficiency. The global oxidation kinetics for cephradine has led to two rate expressions according to type of oxidant. - In the presence of air oxidant: Rate=k. $e^{-Ea}$RT/(Ceph.)$^{1.0}$ ( $O_2$)$^{0.51}$$\pm$0.05(k=3.27${\times}$$10^{5}$ sec. Ea=63.25 kJ/mole) - In the presence of $H_2O$$_2$ oxidant : Rate=kㆍ $e^{-Ea}$RT/(Ceph.)$^{1.0}$ ($H_2O$$_2$)$^{0.62}$$\pm$0.02(k=2.76${\times}$$10^4$/sec. Ea=47.65 kJ/mole)ole))
