라블베니아 균류는 곤충의 외부에 기생하는 자낭균류이다. 저자들은 이 균류의 연구를 위하여 우리나라의 각 지역에서 특히 전남지역을 중심으로 곤충들을 채집하여 그것들을 해부현미경 아래서 기생여부를 관찰하여 표본을 만들고 광학현미경을 통하여 동정한 결과 5속 13종을 얻었기에 다음과 같이 보고한다. Chitonomyces chinensis on Laccophillus difficilis, (Dytiscidae, Coleoptera), Chitonomyces melanurus on Laccophillus difficilis, (Dytiscidae, Coleoptera), Chitonomyces paradoxus on Laccophillus difficilis, (Dytiscidae, Coleoptera), Dichomyces furcifer on Philonthus amicus (Staphylinidae, Coleoptera), Dichomyces homalotae Thaxter on Atheta sp. (Staphylinidae, Coleoptera), Laboulbenia acupalpi Spegazzini on Acupalpus inoratus (Carabidae, Coleoptera), Laboulbenia proliferans Thaxter on Chlaenius naeviger (Carabidae, Coleoptera), Laboulbenia flagellata on Anisodactylus tricuspidatus Morawitz (Carabidae, Coleoptera), Laboulbenia tachys Thaxter on Tachys laetificus (Carabidae, Coleoptera), Laboulbenia vulgaris Peyritsch on Bembidion scopulinum (Carabidae, Coleoptera), Rickia ancylopi Thaxter on Ancylopus melanocephalus (Endomychidae, Coleoptera), Zodiomyces subseriatus Thaxter on Helochares lentus (Hydrophilidae, Coleoptera), Zodiomyces vorticellarius Thaxter on Helochares lentus (Hydrophilidae, Coleoptera). 이들 속과 종들 중에서 Zodiomyces의 1속과 L. prolfferans Thaxter, Z subserariatus Thaxter, Z. vomticellarius Thaxter의 3종들은 우리나라에서 처음으로 기록되어진 것이다.

제주도(濟州道) 지역(地域)에서 라블베니아 균류(菌類)는 현재(現在)까지 2속(屬) 12종(種)이 보고(報告)되었으나, 1993년(年) 9월(月)부터 1994년(年) 8월(月)까지 곤충(昆蟲)들을 채집(採集)하여 라블베니아 균류(菌類)의 기생여부(寄生與否)를 관찰(觀察)한 결과(結果) 지금까지 보고(報告)되지 않았던 1속(屬)과 기존(旣存)의 2속(屬)등 3속(屬) 7종(種)을 얻었기에 다음과 같이 보고(報告)한다. Paradoxus (Peyritsch) Thaxter on Laccophilus difficilis Sharp, (Dytiscidae, Coleoptera), Laboulbenia exigua Thaxter on Haplochlaenius costiger (Chaudoir), (Carabidae, Coleoptera) L. flagellata Peyritsch on Harpalus roninus Bates, (Carabidae, Coleoptera), L. vulgaris Peyritsch on Bembidion oxyglimma Bates, B. scopulinum Kirby, (Carabidae, Coleoptera) and Rickia ancylopi Thaxter on Ancylopus melanochepalus Oliver, (Endomychidae, Coleoptera).

A faunistic list and distribution of aquatic beetles were given with two newly records, Copelatus parallelus Zimmermann, 1920 (family Dytiscidae) and Scirtes sobrinus Lewis, 1895 (family Scirtidae) from Nohwa and Bogil islands in South Korea. As a result, a total of 30 species belonging to 24 genera and eight families were recognized: 12 Dytiscidae species, eight Hydrophilidae species, three Haliplidae species, two Scirtidae species, two Gyrinidae species, one Noteridae species, one Elmidae species, and one Psephenidae species. Composition and habitus photographs of all collected aquatic beetles, habitats, and the diagnostic characters of C. parallelus and S. sobrinus are provided.

The genus Hydroporus Clairville is the most diverse group belonging to the subfamily Hydroporinae in the family Dytiscidae. However, members of this group have not been recorded in the Korean peninsula. The genus Hydroporus Clairville is characterized by the following features: body glabrous to distinctly setose; elytra and ventral surface mainly piceous to black; epipleuron lacking a carina on humeral angle; metacoxal process conjointly with hind margin straight or slightly angulate medially. We collected the high mountain wetland and identified the species of Hydroporus uenoi Nakane based on male genitalia for the first time. A habitus photo, a redescription, mitochondrial DNA sequence, illustrations of the aedeagus of species, and habitat information are provided.

The genus Japanolaccophilus Satô in small groups belonging to the subfamily Laccophilinae of the family Dytiscidae. However, members of this group have not been recorded in the Korea. The genus Japanolaccophilus Satô is characterized by the following features: suture between elytron and epipleuron visible dorsally, posterior angles of pronotum rounded, posterior margin of pronotum nearly straight, and posterior part of prosternal process triangula and with single tip in middle. We collected specimens from the edge of Osip Stream and identified the species of Japanolaccophilus niponensis (Kamiya, 1939) for the first time based on male genitalia. A habitus photograph, a description, illustrations of the aedeagus and information of habitat are provided.

한국산 깨알물방개속(Laccophilus Leach)의 분류학적 재검토를 수행하였다. 한국에서 기록된 5종 중에서 L. hyalinus (De Geer), L. lewisius Sharp (줄깨알물방개), L. minutus ($Linn{\acute{e}}$) (대륙깨알물방개)는 각각 L. vagelineatus Zimmermann (얼룩깨알물방개), L. lewisioides Brancucci (줄무늬깨알물방개)(신칭) and L. difficilis Sharp (깨알물방개)의 오동정이다. 각 종에 대한 외형 사진, 주사전자현미경 사진, 검색표 및 식별형질을 제시한다.

물방개과에 속하는 두 종-Hyphydrus falkenstromi Gschwendtner (제주알물방개)와 Sandracottus mixtus (Blanchard)(호랑물방개)-을 국내에서 처음 보고한다. 이미 기록되었던 Hydaticus pacificus Aube는 S. mixtus (Blanchard)의 오동정이다. 두 종에 대한 성충의 사진, 재기재문 및 주요 형질에 대한 그림을 함께 제시한다.

한국산 점톨물방개속(Hydrovatus Motschulsky)의 분류학적 연구를 수행하였다. 2종이 발견되었으며, 노랑점톨물방개(H. acuminatus Motschulsky)를 국내에서 처음 보고한다. 본 속의 각 2종에 대한 성충의 외형 사진 및 식별 형질과 검색표를 제시한다.

기존에 주로 논 수서생물의 채집을 위해 사용된 방형구법과 뜰채법은 높은 노동력을 요구했기 때문에 광범위한 지역을 대상으로 한 모니터링이 어려웠다. 이 연구는 논 수서생물을 보다 신속하게 채집할 수 있는 수중트랩을 사용하여 지역 및 시기별 논 수서생물의 군집 조성을 확인하였다. 수중트랩은 논을 대표하는 수서생물 중 환경 변화를 지표하거나 수조류의 먹이가 되는 이동성이 높은 종이 포함된 분류군을 채집하는 데 유용했다. 사과우렁이과 (Ampullariidae), 미꾸라지과 (Cobitidae), 물벌레과 (Corixidae), 물방개과 (Dytiscidae), 물땡땡이과 (Hydrophilidae), 물달팽이과 (Lymnaeidae) 등 15개 분류군은 논 수서생물 군집 조성을 결정했다. 주요 분류군 중 환경 교란에 강한 깔다구과 만이 논 수서생물 군집의 시기 변화를 대표했다. 인위적인 영향에 민감한 사과우렁이과, 물땡땡이과 그리고 물방개과는 지역별로 분포가 상이했다.
