In this paper, new voice message system supporting massive outbound call is proposed. Basic idea of the proposed system is to pre-process all the text-to-speech conversion process, mixing of text and attached music file and to store the results of pre-process in the cache server which is connected to the IVR. New voice message system is optimized for the voice message system supporting massive outbound call by distributing the load of the web server caused by server-side script implementation which is accessing database and generating dynamic Voice XML document over client module and server module of web server. The proposed voice message system was test-deployed in one domestic voice message application service provider and it is shown that proposed voice message system reduced the response latency problem of test-bed voice message system.

전자책(eBook)은 디지털 매체를 이용해 책의 내용을 저장 및 가공한 출판물을 의미하며 저장의 용이성과 휴대가능성 및 검색 등의 장점을 가지고 있다. 이러한 장점을 가진 전자책은 아직 전용 소프트웨어가 미비한 상태이며 먼저 전자책을 저작하는 전용 편집기의 개발로 먼저 전자책의 저작이 이루어져야 한다. 본 논문은 장르별 구조를 제공하는 폼 기반(Form-based)의 전자책 편집기를 제안하며 특히 전자책의 특성상 사용자가 기본적으로 제공되는 폼에 더하여 구조를 동적으로 추가할 수 있는 유연성 있는 폼을 지원하는 시스템을 구현하였다. 본 편집기는 국내 전자책의 표준 포맷인 XML(extensible Markup Language)을 기반으로 하였다. 따라서 본 시스템에서 제공되는 폼으로서 사용자는 XML 구조의 숙지 없는 쉬운 인터페이스와 사용자의 의도에 따른 구조 제공으로 장르별 전자책을 작성하기에 용이하였다.

현재 유선에서 지원되는 웹 컨텐츠를 개인용 단말기에서 지원하기에는 단말기의 성능상 한계(screen size, memory size, bandwidth 등) 때문에 여러 가지 문제가 있다. 트랜스코딩이란 이러한 기존 유선 환경에서 제공되는 웹 컨텐츠를 특정 환경에 적합한 형태로 변환 하는 것을 의미한다. 그러나 이와 관련된 기존 연구에서는 사용자가 요구하는 사항만을 변환 하거나 서비스 제공자가 일방적으로 변환하여 웹 컨텐츠를 제공하고 있어 이슈변화에 따른 사용자의 대처능력이 떨어지고 사용자의 사용성이 저하되며, 사용자에게 무의미한 정보 제공의 가능성이 있다. 이러한 문제점들을 해결하기 위해 본 논문에서는 멀티미디어 뉴스 제작을 위한 표준인 NewsML을 대상으로 사용자의 동적 프로파일과 서비스제공자의 어노테이션을 이용하여 사용자가 요구하는 기사와 서비스 제공자가 제공하는 기사를 같이 변환하는 기법을 제안한다. 본 논문의 결과 갑자기 발생하는 사회적 이슈변화에 따른 사용자의 대처능력이 향상 되고 사용자가 불필요한 정보에 과다하게 노출되는 것을 막을 수 있다.

The population of consumers who purchase goods through electronic commerce(EC) is increasing due In the advance of Internet. They can purchase goods freely without time and space restriction and can have variety of choices of goods. Now most of e-Catalogs rely on the simple texts or images to present information on goods. As such, there is limitation in describing goods in detail, which might not make consumers interested in those goods. To solve the problem, more advanced e-Catalogs are demanded compared with the existing ones, requiring research on the e-Catalog authoring techniques that utilize dynamic multimedia data such as audios or videos in addition to the conventional texts and images. In this paper, we describe development of an e-Catalog authoring tnol that is based on SMIL(Synchronized Multimedia Integration Language) which is one of XML applications.

The objective of this study is to implement geological functions on the Internet such as the visualization, search and analysis of geological data. To improve their performance and reduce the cost during development, special concerns should be given to the dynamic integration and interoperability of them. XML Web Service technologies can be adopted and OpenGIS specifications should be considered for the integration of distributed GIS components and their interoperability. Because standard Internet protocols and XML Messages are used in the Web Service, it makes the integration among different hardware and software systems possible. OpenGIS specifications also enable users to get benefits from geographic information and services across any network, platform and application. A prototype of efficient Internet GIS applications has been suggested in this study.

The smart grid, which is an integrated type of the power system and the digital network, requires the integration of a CIM(Common Information Model) standard for information modelling at the power control centers and an IEC 61850 standard for automation at the substation level in order to efficiently exchange the information between system elements. This paper describes the method of data transfer from one standard information model to the other standard unified information model by mapping between the objects of IEC 61850 and IEC61970 CIM standards both in the static and dynamic models, and designs the method of data transfer and information exchange between the topology processing application using unified topology class packages.

본 논문은 실행시에 가변적인 형태의 사용자 인터페이스를 제공하기 위해서 GUI 코드 생성기 시스템을 구현한다. 이 시스템에서는 XML 문서를 이용하여 GUI구조를 기술한다. SAX를 이용하여 파싱한다. 파싱 결과물인 트리를 비지터 패턴을 이용하여 각 태그에 해당하는 코드를 생성하고 이 코드를 자이썬 인터프린터를 이용하여 사용자 인터페이스를 생성한다.

엄청나게 쏟아져 나오는 데이터 홍수 속에서 오늘날의 업체와 연구기관에서는 신속하게 의사 결정을 해야 한다. 당면한 문제점들을 해결하기 위하여 접근할 수 있는 수많은 다양한 데이터 속에서 정확하게 경향을 파악하고 그 근본 원인을 찾아내어 신속하고 action을 행하는 것은 어떠한 회사에서도 성공에 있어서 가장 중요한 인자들 중의 하나이다. 초기 아이디어 도출, 연구 개발에서부터 제품의 생산, 판매 및 서비스에 이르기까지 모든 팀원들은 아주 빠르게 고도의 정확성으로 중요한 결정을 할 필요가 있다. 오늘날의 경쟁 시장에서 기업의 성공은 다른 경쟁자들보다 더 빠르게 결정을 할 수 있는 능력에 달려 있다. 이에 Sporfire에서는 사용자가 쉽고 빠르게 데이터를 분석하여 의사 결정을 할 수 있도록 다양한 기능을 제공하고 있다. 사용자가 SQL같은 전문 언어를 사용하지 않고도 다양한 데이터 source에서 쉽게 데이터를 가져오도록 Information Library를 이용할 수 있으며, 데이터베이스에 들어 있는 숫자들의 집합체를 다양한 차트와 도표들을 이용, 그래픽 적으로 제공해 줌으로써 데이터에 대하여 직관적으로 파악하여 신속하게 대응할 수 있도록 도와준다. 또한 그 결과물들을 MS 파워포인트, 엑셀시트, xml 등으로 저장하여 다른 용도로 사용할 수 있도록 하고 있다.

웹서비스는 XML기반의 표준인 SOAP, WSDL, UDDI를 이용하여 인터넷을 통해 기능을 제공해 주는 서비스 기반 아키텍처의 대표적 기술이다. 웹서비스의 개수가 많아지고 종류가 다양해짐에 따라, 요청자의 요구사항에 맞는 웹서비스를 선택하는 것이 중요하게 되었으며, 여기서 웹서비스의 선택 시 QoS(Quality of Service)는 중요한 기준이 된다. 하지만 웹서비스의 QoS는 동적으로 변하고, 이로 인해 요청자의 QoS요구사항에 만족하지 않는 웹서비스가 되기도 한다. 본 논문에서는 요청자의 QoS요구사항에 적합한 웹서비스를 찾고, 웹서비스의 QoS변화로 인하여 웹서비스를 동적으로 변경하는 프레임워크를 제안한다. 그리고 웹서비스를 동적으로 변경하는 경우에 필요한, 각 웹서비스의 인터페이스 적응 및 기존 작업의 보장에 대한 해결방법도 함께 제시한다.

SCA (Software Communication Architecture), which has been adopted as a SDR(Software Defined Radio) Forum standard, provides a framework that successfully exploits common design patterns of embedded systems software. However, the SCA is inadequate as a component framework since it does not explicitly specify (1) a component model that defines how to express a component interface and how to implement it, (2) a package model that defines what and how to package in deployment units, and (3) a deployment model that defines the deployment environment and deployment process. In this paper, we propose a SCA-based component framework for SDR. Specifically, we present (1) a component model that defines a component as a specialized CORBA object that implements object management functionality, (2) a package model exploiting the existing XML descriptors of the SCA, and (3) a deployment model that defines a SCA-based deployment environment, a boot-up process that restores the deployment state, and a deployment process that supports lazy application instantiation and dynamic component replacement.
