  • This paper is a research on feature extraction and comparison method of dynamic (on-line) signature verification. We suggest desirable feature information and modified DTW(Dynamic Time Warping) and describe the performance results of our enhanced dynamic signature verification system.

  • This paper is a research on the dynamic signature verification of error rate which are false rejection rate and false acceptance rate, the size of signature verification engine, the size of the characteristic vectors of a signature, the ability to distinguish similar signatures, the processing speed and so on. Also, we present our efficient user interface and performance results.

  • This paper is a research on an evaluating method for the dynamic signature verification system. It is described about various factors such as error rate, the size of signature verification engine, the size of the characteristic vectors of a signature, the ability to distinguish similar signatures, the processing speed of signature verification and so on. This study identifies factors to consider in evaluating signature verification systems comprehensively and objectively without an officially approved signature database, examines the meaning of each of the factors, and proposes criteria for evaluating and analyzing the factors.

  • 본 논문은 동적(온라인) 서명인증 기술에 관한 것으로 서명의 특징 벡터, 유사 서명에 대한 변별력, 오류율 등에 대해서 살펴보고, 고성능 서명 인증시스템을 위한 특징 추출과 매칭 방법을 제안하고, 보다 효율적인 사용자 인터페이스를 설계하였고, 다양한 OS플랫폼 지원을 위하여 Java 기술을 이용한 웹 인증 서버를 구현하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 스마트폰에서 사용 가능한 동적서명 인증기술의 사용자 인터페이스와 알고리즘을 제안하고, 제안된 시스템의 성능을 기술하였다. 개인 서명의 모양, 쓰는 속도, 기울기, 획수와 획순서 등의 정보를 활용함으로써 인증 여부를 결정하게 되며, 컴퓨터와 무선인터 넷이 발달하고 관련 산업이 급성장함에 따라서 폭 넓은 산업 분야에 활용될 것으로 기대된다.

  • As the increased use of computer, wired/wireless/mobile Internet, security in using Internet becomes a more important problem. Thus, biometric technology using physical and behavior characteristics of a person is hot issue. Many different types of biometric technologies of a person such as fingerprint, face, iris, vein, DNA, brain wave, palm, voice, dynamic signature, etc. had already been studied but remained unsuccessful because they do not meet social demands. However, recently many of these technologies have been actively revived and researchers have developed new products on various commercial fields. Dynamic signature verification technology is to verify the signer by calculating his writing manner, speed, angle, and the number of strokes, order, the down/up/movement of pen when the signer input his signature with an electronic pen for his authentication. Then signature verification system collects mentioned above various feature information and compares it with the original one and simultaneously analyzes to decide whether signature is forgery or true. The prospect of signature verification technology is very promising and its use will be wide spread in terms of economy, security, practicality, stability and convenience.

  • As the use of signatures for identification purposes is pervasive in society and has a long history in business, dynamic signature verification (DSV) could be an answer to authenticating a document signed electronically and establishing the identity of that document in a dispute. DSV has the advantage in that traits of the signature can be collected on a digitizer. The research question of this paper is to understand how the individual variables vary across devices. In applied applications, this is important because if the signature variables change across the digitizers this will impact performance and the ability to use those variable. Understanding which traits are consistent across devices will aid dynamic signature algorithm designers to create more robust algorithms.

  • Dynamic Programming Matching (DPM)은 순차적으로 구성된 문제를 수학적으로 최적화 시키는 기술로서 패턴인시 분야에서 다년간 중요한 역할을 해왔다. 서명인식을 위한 대부분의 실제적 적용에서는 Sakoe and Chiba [9]의 실제구현 버전이 기반이 되어 왔는데, 일반적으로 slope constraint p = 0의 방법이 적용되어 왔다. 이 논문에서는 이 경우에는 전진탐색에 의한 휴리스틱한 방법을 적용한 MDPM이 상당한 처리시간의 단축 뿐만 아니라 약간의 인식능력 향상을 가질 수 있음을 보여준다.
