A Study on Dynamic Test of Safety System Software on Nuclear Power Plant (원자력발전소 안전계통 소프트웨어의 동적시험에 관한 연구)

  • In recently, the safety system software of the nuclear power plant has been verified and validated according to ANSI/IEEE-ANS-7-4.3.2-1982 to improve the reliability. This standard requires that safety-related software should be tested in the static and dynamic environments. In case of Inadequate Core Cooling Monitoring System (ICCMS), the static test procedure and related techniques are developed but the dynamic test procedure and related techniques are not developed. Therefore, this paper discusses the undeveloped techniques, and suggests the dynamic test procedure and the program for generation of test input data. The performance of the program was identified using accident analysis report of Ulchin 3&4 Final Safety Analysis Report (FSAR).

  • Vibration control of concrete slab mounting precision instrument is needed to make the working vibration environments in frequency domain as well as time domain. In order to take the vibration control countermeasures, signal and system analyses of the concrete slab are processed. Through them the dynamic responses of concrete slab are obtained in frequency domain, and frequency response functions are acquired by exciting the concrete slab and measuring dynamic responses at various points across its surface. The dynamic characteristics of concrete slab are determined by experimental modal analysis. Based on modal parameters from a set of frequency response function measured, it is possible to investigate the effects of potential design modifications and reduce the dynamic response of concerned point by moving or suppressing an objectionable modal resonance conditions through structural dynamics modification.

  • In the present study, nonlinear dynamic response of polymer-CNT-fiber multiscale nanocomposite plate resting on elastic foundations in thermal environments using the finite element method is performed. In this regard, the governing equations are derived based on Inverse Hyperbolic Shear Deformation Theory and von $K{\acute{a}}rm{\acute{a}}n$ geometrical nonlinearity. Three type of distribution of temperature through the thickness of the plate namely, uniform linear and nonlinear are considered. The considered element is C1-continuous with 15 DOF at each node. The effective material properties of the multiscale composite are calculated using Halpin-Tsai equations and fiber micromechanics in hierarchy. The carbon nanotubes are assumed to be uniformly distributed and randomly oriented through the epoxy resin matrix. Five types of impulsive loads are considered, namely the step, sudden, triangular, half-sine and exponential pulses. After examining the validity of the present work, the effects of the weight percentage of SWCNTs and MWCNTs, nanotube aspect ratio, volume fraction of fibers, plate aspect, temperature, elastic foundation parameters, distribution of temperature and shape of impulsive load on nonlinear dynamic response of CNT reinforced multi-phase laminated composite plate are studied in details.

  • In this Paper, we design and implement an e-Learning system with dynamic learning contents Providing and re-time assignment system. The learner can select the dynamic learning contents Providing environments with test and Quiz Phase according to the learners' characters and interest to improve the learning effects. Also, we develop the real-time assignment system which is composed of multiple choice and essay test and can provide the interaction between teacher and learner immediately.

Design and Dynamic Walking Simulation of a Biped Robot (이족보행로봇의 설계와 동적보행을 위한 모의실험)

  • This paper presents a design of new type biped robot and dynamic walking simulation for this system. The robot is distinguished from other one by which has a parallel mechanism type trunk and lead-screw type actuators to drive the joints of the trunk, knee and ankle. The basic consideration on the design is that it is able to accommodate itself to human's daily environments without any other modification of around and also to operate its upper limbs more smoothly with a spine functional trunk. It is designed according to a human with about 130 cm height and about 30 kg weight. And it also is able to dynamically walk on an even ground. It has constructed with total 14 DOFs which have two legs, a hip, and a trunk. The joints of each leg and trunk are adopted with a parallel structure which has good kinematic characteristics and take light weight. To test of the capacity of joint actuators and to analysis of the dynamic properties of the biped robot, optimized trunk trajectory is determined by means of an approximated FFT method based on ZMP criteria, and dynamic simulation is performed using DADS with a 1.1 time/step velocity on the even ground during four steps.

  • This paper presented a design and control of a biped walking RGO(robotic gait orthosis) and its simulation. The biped walking RGO was distinguished from the other one by which had a very light-weight and a new RGO system will be made of 12-servo motors and 12-controllers. The vibration evaluation of the dynamic PLS(posterior leaf splint) on the biped walking RGO was used to access by the 3-axis accelerometer with a low frequency vibration of less than 30 Hz. The galt of the biped walking RGO depends on the constrains of mechanical kinematics and the initial posture. The stability of dynamic walking was investigated by analyzing the ZMP (zero moment point) of the biped walking RGO. It was designed according to the human wear type and was able to accomodate itself to the environments of S.C.I. Patients. The Joints of each leg were adopted with a good kinematic characteristics. To analyse joint kinematic properties. we made the strain stress analysis of the dynamic PLS and the analysis study of FEM with a dynamic PLS.

Study of a New Reciprocating Gait Orthosis for a Spinal Cord Injury Patient (척수마비환자 재활훈련용 왕복보행보조기에 관한 연구)

  • This paper presents a design and a control of a New Reciprocating Gait Orthosis and dynamic walking simulation for this system. The New Reciprocating Gait Orthosis is distinguished from other one by which has a very light-weight and a new RGO type with servo motors. The gait of a New Reciprocating Gait Orthosis depends on the constrains of mechanical kinematics and initial posture. The stability of dynamic walking is investigated by ZMP(Zero Moment Point) of the New Reciprocating Gait Orthosis. It is designed according to a human wear type and is able to accomodate itself to human environments. The joints of each leg are adopted with a good kinematic characteristics. To test of the analysis of joint kinematic properties, we did the strain stress analysis of dynamic PLS and the study of FEM with a dynamic PLS. It will be expect that the spinal card injury patients are able to train effectively with a Reciprocating Gait Orthosis. The New Reciprocating Gait Orthosis was able to keep smooth walling by the orthotic servo motors and hybrid system, make a sequence of flexion and extension of the joint during the walking. Also, the New Reciprocating Gait Orthosis turned out to be a satisfactory orthosis for walling training, for the spinal cord injury patient.

Multi-Cluster based Dynamic Channel Assignment for Dense Femtocell Networks

  • This paper proposes a novel channel assignment scheme called multi-cluster based dynamic channel assignment (MC-DCA) to improve system performance for the downlink of dense femtocell networks (DFNs) based on orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDMA) and frequency division duplexing (FDD). In order to dynamically assign channels for femtocell access points (FAPs), the MC-DCA scheme uses a heuristic method that consists of two steps: one is a multiple cluster assignment step to group FAPs using graph coloring algorithm with some extensions, while the other is a dynamic subchannel assignment step to allocate subchannels for maximizing the system capacity. Through simulations, we first find optimum parameters of the multiple FAP clustering to maximize the system capacity and then evaluate system performance in terms of the mean FAP capacity, unsatisfied femtocell user equipment (FUE) probability, and mean FAP power consumption for data transmission based on a given FUE traffic load. As a result, the MC-DCA scheme outperforms other schemes in two different DFN environments for commercial and office buildings.

Navigation Accuracy Improvement of High Dynamic GPS Receiver using Adaptive Kalman Filter (적응 칼만필터를 이용한 고가속 GPS 수신기의 항법정확도 향상)

  • An adaptive Kalman filter is designed as a post-navigation filter to improve the accuracy of GPS receiver's navigation performance in high dynamic environments. Not only the adaptive Kalman filter reduces the large noise error of navigation data which is obtained by least square method, but also the filter is not degraded as normal Kalman filter in high acceleration movements because the system noise is estimated. Also an initialization structure of the filter is desisted in consideration for irregular output condition of navigation data by least squared method such as reacquisition status in GPS receiver. The filter performance is verified by GPS simulator which has the simulation capability of high velocity and acceleration. Finally, a vehicle test including DGPS is executed to conform the real improvement of that filter performance. This filter can be applied to various data measurement systems to improve accuracy in high dynamic conditions besides GPS receiver.

  • In order to increase the productivity of software, the research to reduce the total cost in software development environments is working, Considerable time is wasted waiting for a changed program in program development, however smell the change, to be edited and compiled and executed. In case of partial change, we need incremental interpreter for reexecuting the changed parts and its affected parts, In this paper, we implement the incremental interpreter by using analyzing dynamic semantics at execution time, We define a new IMPLO(IMPerative Language with Object) language using EBNF(Extended Backus Naur Form) notation and then, design and implement the incremental interpreter of this language by using action equations to describe the dynamic semantics.
