  • This study aims to improve the heat performance of motor cycle disk due to the number of holes by analyzing 6 kinds of disk models. This disk performance depends on the efficiency at emitting the heat. To raise the efficiency of heat emission, holes with circle or another configuration are made on disks to emit heat fast. The distribution of temperature, heat flux, deformation and stress are analyzed. As the number of holes on disk increases, the performance of heat emission is improved. Equivalent stress is decreased and durability is improved as the number of holes on disk increases. Though the number of holes on disk is increased, the performances of heat emission and durability do not become better. The optimal model can be found by comparing models each other through this analysis result. Through this study result, the configuration of motor cycle disk is designed with optimal heat emission and durability by comparing models.

  • According to the axial torsion applied at power transmission and the vibration from the roughness of road surface, this paper analyzes the stresses on two kinds of universal joint model. As stress and deformation at model 2 becomes smaller than model 1 on structural analysis, model 2 is more stabilized than model 1. The natural frequencies at model 1 and 2 are 7,040 and 9,540 Hz respectively. As the natural frequency range of model 2 becomes higher than model 1, model 2 becomes safer than model 1. Critical frequencies at these models are calculated through harmonic response analyses. On critical frequencies at model 1 and 2, the stress at model 2 becomes lower than 2 times as much as model 1 and the deformation at model 2 becomes lower than 4 times as much as model 1. Model 2 on durability is thought to become better than model 1. This study result is applied with the design of safe universal joint and it can be useful to improve the durability by predicting prevention against the deformation due to its vibration.

  • This study investigates the bending stress, shear stress and deformation energy happening at the inner fiber structure when the bending moment is applied to he specimen with flat shape composed of carbon fiber. As CFRP is composed of innumerable fibers with multi-axes, the stress under bending condition can be effectively distributed. Theses stresses is shown to increase again at the starting point as this angle of $60^{\circ}$. Therefore, the condition at the stacking angle of $60^{\circ}$ is seen to become most adequate under the state where the bending stress happens. On the basis of this study result, the damage property by the bending at the plate due to stacking angle was examined through the analytic approach. it is thought that this study can be devoted to the safe design for damage prevention and durabilty improvement. Also, the esthetic sense can be shown as the designed factor of shape with flat plate is grafted onto the convergence technique.

  • This paper investigates equivalent stress and deformation happening at inner fiber structure when the tensile force acts on the specimen with arch type composed of carbon fiber. The countless many each fiber is applied on the unidirectional axis at CFRP and has the high specific strength and stiffness by comparing with iron. In this study, the distribution of stress due to radius is investigated at the structure of arch type composed with the optimum stacking angle of $60^{\circ}$. And the durability is seen to be lower as the radius increases at the same stacking angle. By applying the result of this study to the design of structure with arch type, it can be devoted to the safe design for the prevention of damage and the durabilty improvement. And it is possible to be grafted onto the convergence technique at the designed factor and show the esthetic sense.
