The most significant degradation problem of PLED has been described and new buffer layer material aimed for use as HTL in PLED to solve this issue has been studied. This approach has enabled the increase of the green device efficiency (${\sim}$2x) and lifetime (${\sim}$5-6x).

Purposes: The hospitals needs to generate a minimum profit, in order to perform its own role such as providing high-quality medical services. The demand for hospital management is increasing, as the social demands are diversified and the financial transparency is emphasized. The purpose of this study is to compare hospitals management based on Dupont Identity, by various hospital classification. Methodology: This study is based on '2016 Statistics for Hospital Management' provided by the Korea Health Industry Development Institute. The hospitals were classified according to the scope of care, the type of establishment, the location, and the number of beds. We analyzed the general and financial characteristics of over 337 hospitals using the method of Dupont Identity. Findings: Net profit margin (PM) has the biggest impact on return of equity (ROE). By the number of beds, general hospital with 160-299 beds have the highest return on equity (ROE). By location, hospitals in local municipalities have higher return on equity than hospitals in urban municipalities. According to the type of establishment, public hospitals have lower business performance, and although they invest more than private hospitals. Practical Implications: This study can inspire interest and provide understanding in hospital management and financial structure, by analyzing through an intuitive indicator named Dupont identity. It is possible to provide basic data for hospital management methods for each financial elements, in order to increase the profitability of hospitals.

Fireball로 인한 위험성 및 피해를 평가하기 위한 프로그램, FIRESTOR를 개발하여 Fireball로 인한 Thermal flux를 예측하였고, FIRESTOR 프로그램을 부천가스 충전소 사고를 모델로 하여, BLEVE ESTIMATOR와 상용프로그램인 Dupont 사의 SAFER와 비교 분석 하였 다. 용기압력이 일정시 Propane과 Butane의 경우 Thermal flux는 거리변화에 따라 지수함 수로 감소하였다. 거리변화에 따른 Thermal flux변화를 BLEVE ESTIMATOR, SAFER, FIRESTOR로 상호 비교한 결과 본 연구에서 연구개발한 FIRESTOR 프로그램은 SAFER 와 ESTIMATOR의 중간값으로 Dupont사의 상용프로그램인 SAFER에 근접하는 경향을 보이고 있어 우수한 프로그램으로 판단된다.

BLEVE로 인한 위험을 평가하기 위한 프로그램, BLEVE ESTIMATOR를 이용하여 온도에 따른 폭발량과 Flashing mass를 계산하였고, 부천 가스충전소의 사고를 모델로 피해를 예측하였으며, 상용프로그램인 Dupont의 SAFER 프로그램과 비교하였다. 폭발량과 Flashing mass는 폭발온도의 증가에 따라 지수함수로 증가하였으며, Propane이 n-Butane보다 상대적으로 높게 나타났다. 용기의 온도, 압력, 충전비가 높을수록 Overpressure가 높게 나타났다.

본 논문에서는 뒤틀린 니매틱 액정디스플레이를 가변적인 위상마스크로 사용하여 기존의 2진 데이터 영상에 위상변조를 추가하는 방법을 제안한다 이를 위해 액정디스플레이의 위상변조특성을 이론 및 실험적으로 조사하였고, 입사빔 세기가 매우 커지면 위상변조 특성이 변하는 현상이 존재함을 실험적으로 보였다. 위상변조가 가미된 2진 데이터 영상의 저장특성을 실험적으로 조사하기 위해 여덟 장의 홀로그램을 각다중 을 사용해서 Dupont 사의 광폴리머의 한 지점에 기록하였다. 위상변조를 사용하여 Fourier 면 홀로그램을 기록할 경우, 기존의 진폭변조방식만 사용하는 경우에 비해 빔세기 균일도를 높일 수 있어서, 같은 조건에서 더 많은 홀로그램을 기록할 수 있음을 보였다.

Poly(trimethylene terephthalate)는 1941년 Caligo printing Ink 사의 Whinfield와 Dickson에 의해 PET와 함께 처음으로 그 중합방법이 보고 된 이래, 주원료인 1,3-propanediol의 생산가격이 너무 높아 지난 60년간 상업화 및 학문적 연구가 거의 이루어져 있지 않다. 미국의 Shell사와 독일의 Degussa(미국의 Dupont)에 의해 1,3-propanediol이 대량 생산되면서[1], PTT 섬유의 상업적 생산에 점점 관심이 집중되고 있다. 국내에서도 S사와 Shell의 공동연구에 의해 제품이 생산되는 둥 많은 연구가 진행중에 있기는 하지만, Poly(ethylene terephthalate)의 연구에 비한다면 아직 걸음마 단계의 기초 자료로 제품이 생산되고 있는 실정이다.
