The subjects of this study are 1054 primary school children's fathers in Busan. Questionnaires anr distributed in order to collect data. The dta were analyzed by t-test, F-test, Pearson's ${\gamma}$, Duncan's Multiple Range test, factor analysis and Cronbach's ${\alpah}$ using the SPSS computer program. The main results were as follows ; 1) To make the scale, primary the men, standard deviation, relative frequency distribution of the each items, and Cronbach's were computed. As the result, 36 item were selected in father's child rearing behaviors. Secondarily, the procedure of factor analysis was applied. Consequently, 5 subscales 29 items were selected. Total variance of 5 subscals was 87.5%. Reliability of scales was computed by Cronbach's ${\alpah}$ and the level was relatively considered satisfactory. Hence, subscales named runs and follow ; Father's Child Rearing Behaviors Scale consists of factor I- 'encouragement', factor II-'autonomy', factor III-'affection', factor IV-'achievement', fctor V-'interest'. 2) Practically, to applicate the scale, difference test were conducted according to sex of the children, jobs of the parents, ages of parents, level of the parent education and SES in father's child rearing behavior. • The purpose of the present research was to investigate developmental trends in children's class-inclusion performance and to examine the influence of task characteristics(provision or deprivation of quantitative information and perceptual information) on a class-inclusion task. The subjects of this study were 96 children, 12boys and 12girls at each age level. 5, 6. 7 and 8 years of age. The experimental materials consisted of 12 stimulus boards which were constructed on the basis of picture cards used by Judd and Mervis(1979) and Lane and Hodkin(1985). The class-inclusion tasks were individually administered by the researcher. The data were analyzed by the statistical methods of t-test, one-way ANOVA and Duncan multiple range test. The results showed that (1) There were significant age differences in children's class-inclusion performance. That is, children's performance scores on the class-inclusion task increased with age.: (2) There were significant task characteristics differences in children's class-inclusion performance. That is, children performed better on the deprivation of quantitative information task than on the provision of quantitative information task.

  • This research attempts to analyze the significant factors that affect the level of expectation and satisfaction of parents on cooking activities for their child(ren) by comparing the levels of their original expectation and satisfaction; based on the understanding of the educational values and effects of cooking activities for children. To conduct the empirical studies, 254 survey samples were collected from the parents who have had their child(ren) participate in cooking activities; in addition, the data was processed and analyzed by using various comparative statistical analysis; including t-test, IPA analysis, regression analysis, one-way ANOVA. And Duncan's multiple test was added to verify the outcome afterwards. As the result of the research, the expectation and satisfaction of parents who let their child(ren) participate in cooking activities were significantly different by such variables as 'improvement of linguistic expression,' 'development of understanding numbers and scientific concepts,' 'extension of capability to give his/her emotional expressions,' 'assistance in soothing his/her psychological stresses.' Besides, 'educational contents and methods' were revealed as another factor that influenced parents' satisfaction, and it is clarified that the level of satisfaction is significantly different according to the organizations offering activity programs.

  • Various volume of water for the optimal brewing condition of the Korean distilled liquor produced by liquefaction of rice and corn starch was investigated Pilot brewings were carried out by the liquefaction of 5kg of rice and 10kg of corn starch with 150%, 200% and 250% of water regarding the amount of rice and corn starch. The pH, alcohol production and total acidity were normal during the fermentation process. The yield was proportional to the amount of water added and the highest yield was obtained by 250% of water addition without loss of quality. All the test results were not significantly different by the one-way ANOVA and Duncan's multiple range test at p<0.05 and the flavor profiles were also not different according to the amount of water added. As a result, 250% of water addition was the most economical and optimal brewing condition in this study.
