지능형 LED 조명 시스템의 신뢰성 확보를 위한 유무선 이중망 통합 인터페이스 구현 (Implementation of Integrated Interface based on Wire and Wireless Dual Network for Ensuring the Reliability of Intelligent LED Lighting System)

  • The ZigBee communication method, which is the most frequently applied to the LED lighting control system, has drawbacks of low-speed and low-capacity, and the communication failure possibility due to environmental influences is on the rise. Therefore, it is important to secure the communication reliability by applying an integrated interface with a wire-wireless dual-network. This paper developed a communication module, which has a platform converging and combining the ZigBee of USN environments with the PLC of power line communication environments, to implement a dualized communication interface system supporting the wire-wireless integrated protocol, and implemented a wire-wireless networking device and a control system software technology. As a result, it was automatically switched into the PLC communication within 4.4 seconds on average when there was an access failure in the ZigBee communication network, so a reliable communication network was built.

UV-LED 경화형 칼라 코팅의 경화특성 연구 (Curing Properties of UV-LED Curable Color Coating)

  • 본 연구는 UV-LED 경화형 칼라코팅에 대한 경화특성에 관한 것으로, 특히 UV-LED 파장(365, 395, 405 nm), 불활성 기체, 증감제 및 Dual curing에 따른 경화성을 평가하였다. 광경화 과정과 코팅 도막의 Film-air (FA) interface와 Film-substrate (FS) interface에서 존재하는 미반응 아크릴레이트에 대한 평가는 Photo-DSC와 FT-IR/ATR을 이용하여 각각 조사하였다. Photo-DSC 측정 결과 발열량과 전환율은 405 nm UV-LED를 이용한 코팅 시스템의 경우가 395 및 365 nm UV-LED를 사용한 경우보다 높게 나타났다. UV-LED 경화형 시스템은 전반적으로 Film-substrate (FS) interface의 경화도가 높은 것으로 나타나 후막경화가 우수함을 알 수 있었으나, Film-air (FA) interface의 표면 경화도는 산소저해 현상으로 인해 매우 낮음을 FT-IR/ATR 결과를 통해 확인하였다. 이러한 낮은 표면 경화도는 불활성 기체인 질소를 사용하거나 Dual curing 방법을 도입함으로써 개선할 수 있었다.

  • Ceramic metal halide lamps have been widely used due to long lifetime, high luminous efficiency and good colour rendering. In this paper, we developed dimming control system of electronic ballast for 70W ceramic metal halide lamp by using 1-10V interface. The proposed electronic ballast is consists of EMI filter, Full-wave rectifier, Active PFC, DBI(Dual Buck Inverter), Igniter and control circuit.It enables to supply both low-frequency rectangular wave voltage and current to the lamp by using DBI(Dual Bcuk Inverter) structure. By using 1-10V interface, the system that able to dimming the lamp is demonstrated by P-spice simulation and experimental results.

  • A multi-purpose sensor interface that provides dual-mode operation of fingerprint sensing and physiological signal detection is presented. The dual-mode sensing capability is achieved by utilizing inter-pixel shielding patterns as capacitive amplifier's input electrodes. A prototype readout circuit including a fingerprint panel for feasibility verification was fabricated in a $0.18{\mu}m$ CMOS process. A single-channel readout circuit was implemented and multiplexed to scan two-dimensional fingerprint pixels, where adaptive calibration capability against pixel-capacitance variations was also implemented. Feasibility of the proposed multi-purpose interface was experimentally verified keeping low-power consumption less than 1.9 mW under a 3.3 V supply.

  • 유비쿼터스 센서 네트워크 구현을 위한 하드웨어와 소프트웨어에 대한 연구가 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 본 논문은 현재 널리 사용되고 있는 블루투스 접속 방식을 사용하면서 RF 무선 접속을 제공하는 이중 접속 방식의 무선 센서 노드를 개발하는 내용이다. 이 센서 노드는 Atmega32 마이크로콘트롤러, 블루투스 모듈, UHF RF 송수신 모듈, 그리고 온습도 및 광도 센싱 IC를 사용하였다. 또한 각 모듈의 동작을 제어 할 F/W를 GCC 컴파일러를 사용하여 C 언어로 개발하였다. 개발된 센서 노드는 블루투스 접속이 15m까지, RF 접속이 60m 까지 가능하였다. 공급 전압 5V 이상에서 안정적인 동작을 하였으며 소비 전류는 대기 시 평균 21mA, 동작 시 평균 63mA가 되었다.

EFFICIENT PARAMETERS OF DECOUPLED DUAL SINGULAR FUNCTION METHOD

  • The solution of the interface problem or Poisson problem with concave corner has singular perturbation at the interface corners or singular corners. The decoupled dual singular function method (DDSFM) which exploits the singular representations of the solutions was suggested in [3, 9] and estimated optimal accuracy in [10]. The convergence rates consist with theoretical results even for the problems with very strong singularity, with the efficiency depending on parameters used in the methods. Furthermore the errors in $L^2$ and $L^\infty$-spaces display some oscillation, in the cases with meshsize not small enough. In this paper, we present an answer to remove the oscillation via numerical experiments. We observe the effects of parameters in DDSFM, and show the consisting efficiency of the method over the strong singularity.

Non-propagating Surface Modes in Dual Singly Negative Material Layers

  • We investigate the characteristics of the surface mode formed at the single interface between dual singly negative medium layers. It is shown that the interface can support a mode which has polarization degeneracy and a vanishing propagation constant. That is, this surface mode is a polarization-independent one that does not propagate at all through the interface. The corresponding electric and magnetic field distributions become static along the longitudinal (guiding) direction (but not along the transverse direction) resulting in the formation of transverse-electric/longitudinalmagnetic or transverse-magnetic/longitudinal-electric modes.

  • This paper rotates to tile FPGA that is reffered to as the UTOSPI. The design goal of the FPGA is to convert the UTOPIA-3 bus interface to the SPI-3 bus interface, so that the SAR chips on the ATM interface board can be interfaced to the packet processor through this FPGA. We Propose a new architecture that has two Dual Port RAMs and flow control signals. To buffer data, the UTOSPI has a Dual port RAM in the receive direction and the same size of that in the transmit direction. This design has been implemented, compiled, and tested using a Xilinx Virtex-I XCV-300E FPGA.

  • A new interface circuit for variable resistive sensors is proposed. The interface circuit compose of only two strain gages, a voltage-to-current converter, and current mirror with two outputs. A new dual slope A/D converter based on linear operational transconductance amplifier for the testing of prototype interface circuit is also described. The theory of operation is presented and experimental results are used to verify the theoretical predictions. The results show close agreement between predicted behaviour and experimental performance.
