Antenna-Diplexer Module for Cellular/SDMB Band Using LTCC Technology (LTCC 공법을 사용한 Cellular/SDMB 안테나-다이플렉서 모듈)

  • This paper presents an integrated packaging antenna-diplexer module for wireless communication systems in the Cellular and SDMB band. The design and the realization of the proposed one are experimentally analyzed and discussed. It consists of a dual-resonance antenna and a diplexer with a multi-layer LTCC(${\varepsilon}_r=7.8,\;tan\;{\delta}=0.0043$) technology with integration capability and low loss. The dual-resonance antenna of the proposed module has the meander line structure for size reduction and has the shorting structure of an inverted F antenna to achieve good impedance matching. The diplexer of the proposed module was designed with the combination of low pass filter(LPF) and high pass filter(HPF). Decreasing the mutual interference between them provides a high isolation characteristic. The proposed antenna-diplexer module with dimensions of $27.5{\times}12.0{\times}2.2mm$ operates within a range from 813 MHz to 902 MHz for the cellular band and from 2,586 MHz to 2,655 MHz for the SDMB band. And the measured gain of the fabricated module is -1.96 dBi for Cellular band and -5.43 dBi for SDMB band. The parameters for the antenna-diplexer module are investigated and the several performances are discussed.

A Study on Stereo Visualization of the X-ray Scanned Image Based on Dual-line Sensors (듀얼센서 기반 X-선 검색영상 스테레오 가시화 연구)

  • This paper presents a 3-D visualization technique using stereo radioactive images to provide efficient inspection of fast moving cargo objects. The proposed technique can be used for such objects which CT or MRI cannot inspect due to restricted scan environment. Stereo radioactive images are acquired from a specially designed equipment which consists of a X-ray source, linear radioactive sensors, and a moving stage. Two radioactive sensors are installed so that rectified stereo X-ray images of objects are acquired. Using the stereo X-ray images, we run a matching algorithm to find the correspondences between the images and reconstruct 3-D shapes of real objects. The objects are put in a parallelepiped box to simulate cargo inspection. Three real objects are tested and reconstructed. Due to the inherent ambiguity in the stereo X-ray images, we reconstruct 3-D shapes of the edges of the objects. The experimental results show the proposed technique can provide efficient visualization for cargo inspection.

Design and Manufacture of Modified Circular Ring antenna for WLAN/WiMAX Applications (WLAN/WiMAX 시스템에 적용 가능한 변형된 원형 링 안테나 설계와 제작)

  • In this paper, a dual-band circular ring monopole antenna with stub and ground slot for WLAN(Wireless Local Area Networks)/WiMAX(World interoperability for Microwave Access) applications. The proposed antenna is based on a planar monopole design, and composed of one circular ring of radiating patch, cross strip in circular ring, modified feed line, and two rectangular slot in the ground plane for triple-band operation. To obtain the optimized parameters, we used the simulator, Ansoft's High Frequency Structure Simulator(HFSS) and found the parameters that greatly effect antenna characteristics. Using the obtained parameters, the antenna is fabricated. The numerical and experiment results demonstrated that the proposed antenna satisfied the -10 dB impedance bandwidth requirement while simultaneously covering the WLAN and WiMAX bands. And characteristics of gain and radiation patterns are determined for WLAN/WiMAX application.

  • While the legislation on the protection of personal information in public institutions was enacted and amended, the guidelines and laws on information security were focused, contracted and realized with focus on specific institutions. Mutual laws and guidelines have been applied and realized for the dual purpose of securing both the asset of macroscopic information and the asset of personally identification information, which are mutually different media information. However, in a bid to present the definition and direction of the fourth industrial revolution in 2017, a variety of products and solutions for security designed to ensure the best safety line of the 21st century, and the third technology with the comprehensive coverage for all these fields, a number of solutions and technologies, including IOT(: Internet of Things), ICT Internet of Things(: ICT), ICT Cloud, and AI (: Artificial Intelligence) are pouring into the security market as if plastic doll toys were manufactured in massive scale into the market. With the rising need for guaranteeing the interrelation for securities with dualistic physical, administrative, logical and psychological differences, that is, information security and personal information security that are classified into two main categories and for the enhanced security for integrated management and technical application, the study aims to acquire the optimal security by analyzing the interrelationship between the two cases and applying it to the study results.
