Evaluation of Results in Pesticide Residues on Incongruity Commercial Agricultural Commodities using Network Analysis Method (네트워크 분석을 활용한 유통농산물 잔류농약 부적합 현황 분석)

  • The purpose of this research was to introduce network analysis method for analyzing pesticide residues in incongruity commercial agricultural commodities. Based on the "results in pesticide residues on incongruity commercial agricultural commodities" on "Guidelines for food safety management 2017", we used centrality analysis for pesticide residues via degree, closeness and betweenness centrality measurement. In case of degree centrality result, chlorpyrifos and diazinon were the most highly "connected node" in pesticide network. For the closeness centrality result, the most pesticides showed the similar closeness trend except for 19 species of pesticides. Fludioxonil and chlorpyrifos are recognized as the "bridge" of pesticides network with their high betweenness centrality. The results of network analysis show the "relation" data, which could not represent through out the conventional statistical analysis, among the pesticide residues. We hope that the network analysis method will be appropriate and precise tool for analyzing pesticide residues via elaboration and optimization.

A Study on Rapid Color Difference Discrimination for Fabrics using Digital Imaging Device (디지털 화상 장치를 이용한 섬유제품류 간이 색차판별에 관한 연구)

  • Textile quality management targets the physical properties of fabrics and the subjective discriminations of color and fitting. Color is the most representative quality factor that consumers can use to evaluate quality levels without any instruments. For this reason, quantification using a color discrimination device has been used for statistical quality management in the textile industry. However, small and medium-sized domestic textile manufacturers use only visual inspection for color discrimination. As a result, color discrimination is different based on the inspectors' individual tendencies and work procedures. In this research, we want to develop a textile industry-friendly quality management method, evaluating the possibility of rapid color discrimination using a digital imaging device, which is one of the office-automation instruments. The results show that an imaging process-based color discrimination method is highly correlated with conventional color discrimination instruments ($R^2=0.969$), and is also applicable to field discrimination of the manufacturing process, or for different lots. Moreover, it is possible to recognize quality management factors by analyzing color components, ${\Delta}L$, ${\Delta}a$, ${\Delta}b$. We hope that our rapid discrimination method will be a substitute technique for conventional color discrimination instruments via elaboration and optimization.

A Study on Perceived Contrast Measure and Image Quality Improvement Method Based on Human Vision Models (시각 모델을 고려한 인지 대비 측정 및 영상품질 향상 방법에 관한 연구)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to propose contrast metric which is based on the human visual perception and thus it can be used to improve the quality of digital images in many applications. Methods: Previous literatures are surveyed, and then the proposed method is modeled based on Human Visual System(HVS) such as multiscale property of the contrast sensitivity function (CSF), contrast constancy property (suprathreshold), color channel property. Furthermore, experiments using digital images are shown to prove the effectiveness of the method. Results: The results of this study are as follows; regarding the proposed contrast measure of complex images, it was found by experiments that HVS follows relatively well compared to the previous contrast measurement. Conclusion: This study shows the effectiveness on how to measure the contrast of complex images which follows human perception better than other methods.

Analysis and Improvement of Factors Influencing the Transfer Alignment of INS of Underwater Projectile (수중발사체의 관성항로장치 전달정렬 영향인자 분석 및 개선방안)

  • Purpose: In order to accurately reach an underwater projectile to a target point, reliable INS and accurate arrangement of INS between master and slave INS is paramount. Unlike terrestrial and aerial environments, underwater projectile will operates in a restricted environment where location information cannot be received or sent through satellites. In this report, we review the factors affecting the transfer alignment of master and slave INS, as well as how to improve the positional error between INS through improved transfer alignment algorithms. Methods: In this work, we propose an improvement algorithm and verify it through simulation and driving test. The simulation confirmed the difference in the transfer alignment azimuth by fitting the MINS and SINS indoors, displacement in posture, and the process of transfer alignment between MINS and SINS through a driving test to confirm algorithm can improve the arrangement. Results: According to this study, reason for the error in the transfer alignment between MINS/SINS is the factors of the system where movements such as roll, pitch, yaw are not inter locked in real time due to the delay in transmit/receive system. And confirm that the improved algorithm has a desirable effect on accuracy. Conclusion: Through this work, it is possible to identify ways to improve the accuracy of underwater projectiles to reach their target points under various underwater environments and launch condition.

A Study on ESS Process Modeling and Application for Improving Reliability of Electronic Equipments (전자장비 신뢰성 향상을 위한 ESS 프로세스 모델링 및 적용에 관한 연구)

  • Purpose: In this study, we propose the ESS process model which, in order to improve reliability of electronic equipment, can be referenced in both development and production phases. Methods: ESS guidelines such as MIL handbooks or private sector ESS guidelines are used for devising the proposed ESS model. Especially, proposed model is customized by using those references in order to be optimized in the domestic development and production phases. Results: ESS-related-requirements which is specified in the Technical Data Package(TDP) for the area of guided missile systems are analyzed. Current status of the requirement and screening strength are analyzed for those systems to show what kind of weak points should be improved. Conclusion: A ESS guideline which is applicable to the domestic weapon acquisition environment is proposed. As such, the necessity and detail guidelines of the proposed model are explained.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this research is to develop defense quality evaluation model in order to improve the problem of private sector quality evaluation model and propose the total integrated defense quality management model which enables to evaluate not only large defense industry, but also small-medium industry. Methods: This paper consider the characteristics on ISO 9001 Quality Management System, single PPM, PASS and defense quality and develop defense quality maturity model and index which enables to measure the current quality management level and characteristics and to evaluate operational characteristics in each maturity level for domestic defense industry. Results: From 176 DQMS certified defense industry, the defense quality maturity level is 68,2, C grade. The large defense industry shows, 80.9, A grade; medium industry 69.7, C grade; small-medium industry shows 54.1, D grade. Through the classified types of industries, the current level of quality management of defense industries was diagnosed and the areas to be supplemented for the total quality management were identified. Conclusion: Developed DQMI can be used as the basic information for spreading quality management activities in the defense industry by diagnosing the overall quality management of existing defense industries and quantifying the ambiguity of non-metric measurements and measurement standard that were presented as the threshold of the defense quality management system certification process.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to escape from the existing defense quality policy focused on government-led quality assurance for mass-produced items and to secure quality reliability of weapon systems through a defense quality policy paradigm shift based on designing a verification systems anchored on reliability through the enhancement of military supply quality control in the development stage, the enhancement of quality responsibility of the manufacturing contractor and other methods. Methods: For the shift to the quality-based defense quality policy, the status and the problems of the status quo are analyzed and the direction of future defense quality policy is suggested based on literature review of the concept of reliability and reliability in the field of defense, on case studies of global corporations and their quality policies, on the background on quality assurance in defense, and on case studies of quality policies in other government organizations, Results: Based on the case studies of quality policies in global corporations and other government agencies, the importance of preventive quality control from the early development stages, quality control based on the reliability of the materials and parts, and shift of the quality policy to a certification system to achieve these objectives were highlighted. Conclusion: To secure reliability of weapon system quality, the quality policy must be shifted to a system focused on reliability-based design and verification and there is a further need to enhance the operational efficiency and capacity of DTaQ based on studies and evaluation of weapon system reliability.

  • In this paper, a CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access) field engineering system is designed and implemented for managing cellular telecommunication base stations. For high quality of CDMA service, optimized cell planning is crucial. For such cell planning, base stations must be managed based on analysis of CDMA field dta. The proposed system consists of two modules: a measurement module and au analysis of CDMA field dta. eh proposed system consists of tow modules; a measurement module and an analysis module. The measurement module collects various CDMA field dta and displays them on a vector map in a real-time manner. The analysis module associates measured data with various related information, e.g. base station information, and process them statistically. The proposed system can drastically reduce base station management cost.

  • Purpose: Recently, many quality issues are aroused in military forces, such as failures in K-series weapons, combat boots defects and 40mm ammunition explosion accident. To address these problems, the one and only government defense quality assurance agency, DTaQ(Defense Agency for Technology & Quality) tried to improve many quality assurance procedures and introduced new systems such as MRA(Manufacturing Readiness Assessment), TRA(Technology Readiness Assessment), and etc. However, as the amount of war supplies increasing every year, the resource(budget and manpower) for quality assurance is limited. Therefore, DTaQ had difficulty to handle the issue efficiently and effectively, and we propose the method to address this problem. Methods: The most popular quality assurance technique is a sampling method, in this research, we first review the many sampling techniques and compare the strength and weakness of each method. After then, we selected the most appropriate sampling techniques and applied the procedures in combat force support material and ammunition areas. Results: We can reduce the number of samples dramatically, thus the required amount of labor time and money can be saved. Also, the new sampling technique enforces the supplier to produce the product which meets the target value(desirable value).   • Purpose: In this study, we apply environmental stress screening (ESS) to battle management system (BMS) of a tank and use the ESS profile based on production process data, guided by MIL-HDBK-781/344/2164. Methods: To optimize ESS Profile of the BMS of a tank, we estimate ESS model parameters (e.g., defect density, screening strength) using primary production failure reporting and corrective action system (FRACAS) data of military supply contract firm. Results: First, we collect the Primary production FRACAS data of military supply contract firm. Second, we compute curve fitting approach to find patent defect density and latent defect density using FRACAS data. Third, we solve the equation of Defect Density(patent defect density + latent defect density)($D_{IN}$) and Screening Strength(SS) Using second step data. As a result of analysis according to the order, we calculate $D_{IN}$(Temperature stress case : 74.02, Vibration stress : 10.252) and : SS(Temperature stress case : 0.4632, Vibration stress : 0.4142) and confirm the Condition II-D based on MIL-HDBK-344. According to Condition II-D, it is necessary to modify existing ESS profile through decreasing the $D_{IN}$ and increasing the SS. Conclusion: Identification of defect causes through ESS approach reduce defect densities for production. It provides feedback to a lessons-learned data base to avoid similar problems on next generation tank BMS.
