Identification and Prioritization of the Driving Factors of Labor Productivity in the Melli Bank: Iranian Scenario

  • Purpose - Labor productivity is extremely important to the profitability and competitive advantage of organizations that provide services to customers, such as banks. This study investigates the factors driving labor productivity in Iran's Melli Bank. Research design, data, methodology - Five managerial, psychosocial, cultural, and individual factors are identified and their relative importance for labor productivity prioritized using AHP. The required data are then collected through a questionnaire designed for a pairwise comparison of the driving factors of labor productivity and their subcategories. Results - The study outcomes reveal that the managerial and individual factors are the most important. Specifically, the most important factors in increasing labor productivity in the branches of Melli Bank are having a competent supervisor, promotion opportunities, fair working conditions, conscientiousness, the right tools, and a correspondence between skills and work. Conclusions - Implementing AHP using Expert Choice software revealed that, among the driving factors of labor productivity (i.e., managerial, psychosocial, cultural, environmental, and personal), managerial factors were considered the most important by the respondents.

  • This paper presents a novel driving system by the humanoid robot to drive a vehicle in disaster response situations. To enhance robot's capability for substituting human activities in responding to natural and man-made disaster, the one of prerequisite skills for the rescue robot is the mounted mobility to maneuver a vehicle safely in disaster site. Therefore, our driving system for the humanoid is developed in order to steer a vehicle through unknown obstacles even under poor communication conditions such as time-delay and black-out. Especially, the proposed system includes a tele-manipulation interface and stable navigation strategies. First, we propose a new type of path estimation method to overcome limited communication. Second, we establish navigation strategies when the operator cannot recognize obstacles based on Dynamic Window Approach. The effectiveness of the proposed developments is verified through simulation and experiments, which demonstrate suitable system for driving a vehicle in disaster response.

프로골프 경기기록을 활용한 다중집단분석 : 경로분석 적용 (Effectiveness of golf skills to average score using records of PGA, LPGA, KPGA, KLPGA : Multi-group path analysis)

  • 이 연구는 프로골프대회에서 기록되는 중요변인들 (드라이브거리, 페어웨이안착율, 그린적중율, 센드세이브율, 리커버리율, 평균퍼팅수)이 평균타수에 미치는 영향력에 대해 집단 간 차이를 분석하였다. 구체적으로 미국남자프로골프협회 (PGA), 미국여자프로골프협회 (LPGA), 한국남자프로골프투어 (KGT), 그리고 한국여자프로골프투어 (KLPGT)에서 측정, 공개하는 자료를 통해 PGA, LPGA, KPGA, KLPGA 집단 간에 중요변인들이 평균타수에 미치는 경로에 유의한 차이가 있는지를 검증하였다. 그 결과 PGA와 LPGA 모형 간에 드라이브거리와 그린적중율이 평균타수에 미치는 경로가 p <.05 수준에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났으며, KPGA와 KLPGA 모형 간에는 드라이브거리, 리커버리율, 그리고 평균퍼팅이 평균타수에 미치는 경로가 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 PGA와 KPGA 모형 간에 드라이브거리, 리커버리율, 그리고 평균퍼팅이 평균타수에 미치는 경로가p <.05 수준에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났으며, LPGA와 KLPGA 모형 간에는 모든 경로에서 p >.05 수준에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 이 연구 결과는 남녀 국내 투어와 미국 투어의 골프 경기력의 구조 특성을 이해하는데 필요한 기초자료로 활용 할 수 있을 것이며 향후 투어 진출을 위한 유의한 정보가 될 수 있을 것이다.

도로 주행 능력을 향상시키기 위한 운전재활의 체계적 고찰 (Systematic Review of Driving Rehabilitation for Improving On-Road Driving)

  • 목적: 본 연구의 목적은 도로 주행 능력을 향상시키기 위한 운전재활의 방법과 효과에 대해 체계적 고찰을 통하여 추후에 있을 운전재활 연구의 방향을 제시하고자 한다. 연구방법: 2014년 12월부터 2015년 1월까지 운전재활에 관한 연구를 CINAHL, Embase, Pubmed, PsycINFO, Riss를 통하여 검색하였다. 선정기준에 따라 최종적으로 15편의 연구를 분석하였으며 주요검색용어로는 "On-road" OR "Driving" AND "Driving rehabilitation"AND "Intervention"을 사용하였다. 결과: 고찰한 연구는 총 15개로 근거 수준은 I, III, V이었다. 연구대상은 뇌졸중 환자(40.0%), 고령 운전자(20.0%), 외상성 뇌손상 환자(20.0%), 후천적 뇌손상 환자(13.3%), 척수환자(6.7%)였으며, 실제 도로 주행 능력을 향상시키기 위한 중재 방법은 시뮬레이터를 이용한 훈련(53.3%), 인지 기술을 훈련(26.6%), 운전을 위한 교육(6.7%), 보조 기기의 적용(6.7%), 운전 연수(6.7%)이었다. 중재 효과는 방법에 따라 차이가 있었지만 시뮬레이터를 이용한 모든 연구에서 중재 후 도로 주행 능력의 유의한 향상을 보고하였다. 결론: 도로 주행 능력을 향상시키기 위한 운전재활은 다양한 방법으로 적용되고 있었다. 특히 시뮬레이터를 이용한 중재는 많은 연구를 통해 효과가 입증되고 있었다. 추후 다양한 연구 대상자와 중재 방법을 통해 도로 주행 능력 향상을 위한 운전재활 연구가 지속적으로 이루어져야 할 것이다.

A Study on Development of Maintenance Skill Training Simulator for Railway Vehicle

  • Generally, in the railway vehicle the driving force of gravity happens by the high-speed running and the repetitive impulse cause the degradation and the malfunction phenomenon shows differently because the durability of each component changes according to the internal and external causes. The maintenance of propulsion control device which is played the very important role as to the stable service of the railway vehicle is greatly important among them. Therefore maintenance training propulsion control device simulator is needed to maximize learning through repetition and improve the maintenance practical skills training. This paper designed the railway vehicle running device with a miniature for the railway vehicle maintenance training and developed a propulsion control device simulator equipped the imitation steering wheel.

농업 경영인이 인식한 외국인 근로자 및 농업인 고용주 교육 요구 분석 (Educational Needs Assessment of Migrant Farm Workers and Employers Perceived by Farmers in Korea)

  • This study aims to examine the educational needs of migrant farm workers and farmers in Korea. For developing survey instruments, content analysis of migrant workers & employer training programs, in-depth interviews with farmers and expert reviews had been conducted. Therefore, eight parts and twenty nine educational contents for migrant workers, five parts and twenty educational contents for farmers have been constructed. For data analysis, Borich analysis and The Locus for Focus Model were hired to analyze the educational needs assessment. Results showed that migrant workers' educational priorities were 'basic korean for farming, working attitude in farming, safety guidelines and first aid skills for rural life, safe use of pesticides and protective equipment, driving skills, safe use of agricultural machinery, operation & maintenance of agricultural machinery, pest control by crop', and for the farmers' were 'communication with migrant workers, trouble controls with employment, farming guidance, industrial accident cases and countermeasures, preventing disease and promoting mental health of migrant workers'.

  • 완전한 자율 주행에 이르기 위해서는 주변 환경을 인지하는 인지 능력이 사람보다 뛰어나야 한다. 자율 주행에서 주로 사용되는 $60^{\circ}$ 협각, $120^{\circ}$ 광각 카메라는 시야각에 따른 각각의 단점이 존재한다. 본 논문의 목적은 광각, 협각 카메라가 가진 각각의 단점을 극복하기 위하여, 다중화각 차량 전방 카메라 시스템을 이용하여 더 넓은 영역의 전방을 대상으로 더 정확히 객체를 인식할 수 있는 심층신경망 알고리즘을 개발하는 것이다. 광각, 협각 카메라로 취득된 데이터의 종횡비를 분석해 SSD(Single Shot Detector) 알고리즘을 수정하였고, 취득된 데이터를 학습하여 단안 카메라만을 사용할 때 보다 높은 성능을 달성하였다.

  • Water flow in rivers during flood season can be 10 to 100 fold higher than normal seasons (low precipitation) in Japan and predicting flood runoff is essential for operating reservoirs with discharging gates. Abundant experiences and knowledge are requisites for operators to be able to make efficient decisions at work. This research investigated a method to transfer technical knowledge by acquiring skills and knowledge from actual dam operators and by using the information to construct an educational training system. The purpose of the research was to enable the execution of a secure and rational reservoir operation during flood period. The educational training system for reservoir operation was developed with the focuses on acquiring knowledge on hydraulics and hydrology and learning about decision making related to the reservoir operation as well as the timing of control. The system is capable of conducting education that corresponds to individual levels in each location. Of the educational training methods, a lecture method that uses textbooks is effective for the understanding of basic knowledge and concepts while a training method that uses a simulation device is essential for the practice of advanced and specialized procedures in specific fields. Simulation devices are used in operational training for airplane flight and driving cars and trains. The educational system presented here was designed to provide further assistance to those who have acquired basic knowledge and concepts through textbooks and also to at low them to perform the satisfactory operation of dam equipment. Our research proposes a method which can realize a system to acquire technical skills-the skills which are the foundation of technical knowledge and operation.

조선후기 궁중 연희무대 건축 장인(建築匠人)의 활동과 주요 목수(木手) 연구 (A Study on Activities of Architecture Craftsmen and Major Carpenters of Court Palace Performance Stages in the Late Joseon Dynasty)

  • A major performance stage carpenter, Jang Insang led performance stages from the 1719 Sukjong Royal Banquet and was confirmed by historical records to be the first craftsman. Lee Wandeuk led the Hwaseong Fortress performance stages of the Jeongjo period and Gichuk Jinchan performance stages of the Sunjo period. The carpenter techniques he used during the Jeongjo period were succeeded to the Sunjo period. Ahn Sungil was the head craftsman who led the performance stages of Jagyeongjeon Jinjak, Muja Jinjak, and Gichuk Jinchan of the Sujo period, under which the foundation for court palace performances was laid. The progression of major carpenters includes Jang Insang of the Sukjong period, Jeon Yoochu of the Yeongjo period, Ahn Sugil of the Sunjo period, Yoon Seoksin of the Heonjong period, Kim Yoonsik of the Gojong period, Lee Jongyoon, Kim Soongil, Seo Sangmook, and Han Sujoon. In addition, the Major Repair of Injeongjeon Hall (1857) of the Cheoljong period was the most important palace construction project for transferring the carpenters' skills. Through this project, Ahn Sungil of the Sunjo period, Kim Myeonggap, Yoon Seoksin of the Heonjong period, Kwon Deuknyang, and Kim Sungil of the Gojong period were able to interact with each other. That is, this major repair project of Injeongjeon Hall reflected the major carpenters' best techniques through performance stage construction, showing the progression of Ahn Sungil, Yoon Seokshin, and Kim Sungil, who led the constructions of Gichuk Jinchan of the Sunjo period (1829), Mushin Jinchan of the Heonjong period (1848), and Jeonghae Jinchan of the Gojong period (1887), the most impressive performance stages of the late Joseon period. The carpenters of the court performance stages participated in important construction projects of the royal palace, reflecting the superior technical skills of the carpenters in the construction of court palace performance stages. The carpenters who played a leading role in the construction of performance stages were able to interact with one another and transfer their excellent technical skills, providing the driving force that allowed court performance stages to blossom into splendid and high-quality court stages in the late Joseon Dynasty.

고령사회를 대비한 노인운전자 교통사고 특성 및 저감방안 -제주지역을 중심으로- (The Characteristics of Traffic Accidents and Reduction Methods by Elderly Drivers to Prepare for the Aging Society -Focused on Jeju-)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 노인운전자의 교통사고 유형과 특성 등을 분석하여 교통사고 저감방안을 도출하고, 향후 노인을 위한 실제적인 교통안전정책의 방향 수립에 있다. 노인운전자의 교통사고 실태를 분석한 결과, 노인운전자에 의한 교통사고는 조명시설 등 교통안전시설물 설치가 열악한 도시 외곽지역인 지방도에서 빈번하게 발생하고 있으며, 가장 많이 발생하는 시간대는 18~20시 사이로 태양빛이 사라지고 어둠이 드리우는 일몰시간대로 나타났다. 안전운전의무 불이행과 같은 주의력 부족에 의한 교통사고가 많이 발생하였다. 노인운전자에 의한 교통사고 감소뿐만 아니라 우리 사회 전체의 안전을 위해서는 교통약자인 노인을 배려하는 법제도의 개선과 지역특성을 고려한 도로안전시설물 등의 정비가 필요하며, 신체적 능력이 저하된 노인운전자는 자신 스스로가 자신의 운전능력을 의심하고 테스트할 수 있는 신뢰 기재인 면허갱신제도 등에 의한 테스트와 대체교통수단 이용을 통한 직접 운전수요를 감소시키려는 노력이 필요하다.
