  • Light Rail Transit(LRT) Systems with transport capacity between subway and bus(5,000-25,000 persons per hour) are being carried on over 100 lines around the world. In Korea, to solve the urban transportation problem, the introduction of LRT system has been proceeded positively. It is planned to develop the Korean standard LRT system in which safety, efficiency and cost effectiveness are emphasized. So we were able to make proto type of Rubber tired AGT system for LRT. This is capable of driverless operation using CBTC(Communication Based Train Control) of Moving Block System and is currently making an experiment for reliability in test-line. This study is focused on verifving the train tracking with CBTC in driverless and ATO mode through implementing the examination.

  • The Wolmi Eunha-Rail in Incheon is connecting Wolmido and Incheon Station with an elevated monorail road supported by piers. This railroad system is characterized by driverless automatic operation and moving-block based control. The main technology applied to this signal-controlled system is CBTC (Communications-Based Train Control) which based on wireless communications. The CBTC system is simple in that composition so that can minimize field facilities and lowers costs of construction and maintenance. This CBTC system is emerging as a major signal-controlled system in the future metro market.

  • The automatic-driverless operation, a very important technique for metro railways, is necessary for achieving higher safety, greater reliability, and bigger transport capacity. To achieve these things, we have to build up the system design and tasting techniques for the railway system operation.   • The ATO(Automatic Train Operation) System is used for train operation instead of dreivers. It is interfaced with TCMS(Train Control and Monitoring System) and ATC/TWC system in the train and wayside facilities. In this paper describes configuration of ATO, Specification of ATO hardware, construction of ATO software and the algorithm for automatic train speed regulation in the carborn ATO system. This paper is mainly concerned with the development of the ATO System. The ATO system is used for automatic or driverless operation of a train using various informations from TCMS, ATC, TWC. In this paper, the general architecture of the ATO system, implementation of ATO application software and the algorithm using servo-controller for automatic train speed controller.

  • The Maglev travels at levitated status from the rail in some gab (about $8\sim10mm$). it make difference with the existing subway or the another LRV. The detection method of the train speed and the train position to be used at Maglev's signaling system differ with the existing subway or the another LRV's. so, the signal system construction of the new method is necessary. This paper describes the configuration and characteristic of the total signaling system (TTC/Wayside/Cab/Guide way system etc.) developed for Maglev, and the design concept of the signaling system based on the latest wireless LAN communication for driverless operation.

  • It followed in system development and SMRT(Seoul Metropolitan Rapid Transit Co)System reached to an automatic train operation(ATO) and driverless operation(DLM) from the manual operation due to the train driver. It respects the passenger accident prevention and an air question environment improvement from subway platform and phul leys the screen door of Platform(PSD) with the fire tube frost it refers and part it treats and to sleep it does, ODM which bites is accuracy and immediacy of altitude and when seeing from the viewpoint which demands the trust of altitude, ODM system the trust of car incest interface in the equipment construction which is safe and the comparative analysis back of the system analysis against the control which bites and case study and other subway system it leads from the research which it sees and signal - train in base grudge to sleep it contributes it does.
