A Study on the Mold System of Bicycles Gear for Driving Safety (주행 안전을 위한 자전거 기어의 프레스금형에 관한 연구)

  • Recently, bicycle has means of effective healthy transportation, and riding the bicycles is considered as popular recreational and sporting activities. Also, the saddle, steering system, driving device and braking device are researched briskly because of consumer's need for driving performance and comfort. Especially, the importance of a cassette responsible for transmission function by transmitting power to the drive shaft through the chain is very focused. The writer conducted structural analysis for the sprocket of each level using the ANSYS widely used for the analysis. Speed shifting performance was enhanced by minimization / simplification of shifting point through a sort of tooth profile of the cassette. By partitioning a clear value type and other shifting point, it has been modified to enable smooth speed-shifting. In addition, as titanium precision forming process, this study studied the molding technique by blanking and dies forging for mass production of the cassette. so it could be expected that the entire drive train would utilize that in the future. The stamping process capability for thin materials for the mass production of the sprockets is applicable to producing automobile parts, so lightweight component production is likely to be possible through that, for the safety of driving.

  • This paper presents microprocessor-based Digital Position Detection Unit using the inductive radio line and the antennas in train signaling system. This comprises the Fail-Safe system due to the dual controlled system to drive with safe-side even in events of faults, and designs the FSC(failure safe comparator). And the method of Markov Modeling is described for the reliability evaluation of system.

  • Railway has recently played an important role in preventing global warming caused by green house gases and furthering a low carbon green growth, The various railway research centers have conducted facilitated studies on saving energy. In particular, urban railway has emerged as the best means of public transportation in terms of punctuality, safety and environmentally friendliness. There are various ways to save energy in terms of operation of urban railway system, and they can be generally divided into hardware aspects that pertain to structure of vehicles and development of control system and software aspects that pertain to effective operation of trains based on operation patterns and diagram control. In this paper, we investigated drive assistance system for railway energy efficiency. The railway operation patterns and train diagram management programs were researched.

  • The articulated structures seen in train or tram applications are being applied in road transportation systems, for use in mass passenger transit. When articulated vehicles are driven on public roads, they no longer follow a guided track. Therefore, there are a lot of control elements that need to be considered, such as turning radius, swept path width, off-tracking, and swing-out. Some of the currently available articulated vehicles on roads are equipped with an independent drive system; a system that has one motor at each wheel. Through this drive system, each wheel can be independently controlled, making precise and quick dynamic stability control possible. In this paper, we propose a torque distribution algorithm that can reduce the overall turning radius of the articulated vehicle, which has been verified through dynamic simulation.

  • Currents which are generated at both ends of drive motor by operating brake pedal when subway train is driving, will generate the reviltalization actual effect if they are not used immediately. So there exist rolling stock established Dynamic braking annex for the purpose of stable brake performance in case there are no retrogress train around or no stable wiring voltage.Therefore 55% of entered energy are consumed in subway train. 45% are used in down gradient section or for regeneration energy and among them 25% are used for another train's retrogression through the wiring. So to reduce reviltalization method keeping the existing system, substation's service voltage should be declined about 5%. And then it will ease off excessive wiring voltage rise. And there need energy reduction by flexible service voltage adjustment and study for energy consumption efficiency in the subway.

  • A wind generator system model includes wind model, rotor dynamics, synchronous generator, power converter, distribution line and infinite bus. This paper investigates the low-Voltage Ride-Through capability of PMSG wind turbine in a variable speed. The drive train of a wind turbine on 2-mass modeling can observe the shaft torsional vibration when the low-voltage occur. To reduce the torsional vibration when the low-voltage occur, this paper designs suppression control algorithm of the torsional vibration and implements simulation. The simulation based on MATLAB/SIMULINK has validated at the transient state of the PMSG and an experiment using 3kW simulator has validated the LVRT control.

  • This paper presents a new approach to the design of cruise control system of a mobile robot with two drive wheel. The proposed control scheme uses a Gaussian function as a unit function in the fuzzy-neural network, and back propagation algorithm to train the fuzzy-neural network controller in the framework of the specialized learnign architecture. It is proposed a learning controller consisting of two neural networks-fuzzy based on independent reasoning and a connecton net with fixed weights to simply the neural networks-fuzzy. The performance of the proposed controller is shown by performing the computer simulation for trajectory tracking of the speed and azimuth of a mobile robot driven by two independent wheels.

  • With the growing traffic density and increasing comfort requirements, the automation of the drive train will gain importance in vehicles. The automatic clutch actuation relieves the drivers especially in urban driving and stop-and-go traffic conditions. In this paper, an electro-mechanical actuator for clutch-by-wire (CBW) system is implemented as the first stage for the development of automated manual transmissions. The prototype of CBW actuator is designed systematically, which is composed of the electric motor, worm & worm wheel and crank mechanism. And the test rig is developed to perform the basic function test for the automatic clutch actuation. The developed prototype is validated by the experimental results on the test rig.
