  • We have to convert XML DTD into relational database schema for storing XML Document at relational database. Hybrid inlining algorithm are used for converting XML DTD to relational database schema. But this method have some problem. That is the relational database schema have N:N relationship are created according this method are not satisfied with third normal from. Therefore, We proposed Extended Hybrid inlining algorithm for solving this problem in this paper.

  • XML documents, which are becoming new standard for expressing and exchanging data in the Internet, don't have defined schema. It is not adequate to directly apply XML documents to the existing SQL or OQL. Research on how to extract schema for XML documents and query language is going on actively. Fer users' query, the results could be too many or too less. It is important to give the users adequate results. This paper suggests the way to extract many levelized schema according to the frequency of element occurrence in XML documents. The Schema can be reduced or extended to correspond to the users'query more flexibly.

  • XML (extensible Markup Language) is selected and published as a representative standard of electronic documents by W3C (World Wide Web Consortium). The structured information can be created and also transferred in XML documents. By utilizing XML, you can express the meaningful information unit as a structure comparing existed file typed information. With structured information, you can also manage retrieve, and reposit documents. According to the above facts, in this paper, it is the purpose to design and implement XML documents repository system to reposit and retrieve using structured information of XML documents. As a model it was designed to be stored by element unit which is the basic unit of documents and was also designed to retrieve the stored XML information by structured unit. It was, especially, designed to manage and reposit the structure of various documents effectively through creating schema as to DTD(Document Type Definition) and instance.

  • Recently many organizations have attempted to build hypermedia systems to expand their working areas to internet-based virtual work places. It is thus important to manage corporate hypermedia documents effectively. Metadata play a critical role for managing these documents. This paper identifies metadata roles and components to build its schema. Furthermore a meta-information system HyDoMiS(Hyperdocument Meta-information System) is proposed by the use of this metadata schema. HyDoMiS performs three functions; metadata management search and reporting The metadata management function is concerned with workflow document and database. The system is more likely to help implement and maintsain hypermedia information system effectively.

  • 본 논문에서 기존의 항만물류 EDI가 가진 문제점을 해결하기 위한 방안으로 제시된 XML/EDI에 대해 살펴보고, 항만 물류에 XML/EDI를 적용하기 위해 기존의 EDI 메시지를 처리하기 위한 브라우저를 개발한다. XML 문서의 논리적인 구조를 표현하는 방식에 DTD(Document Type Definition)과 XML Schema가 있는데, 여기서는 다양한 데이터 타입를 가지고 있는 XML Schema를 사용해 EDI메시지의 구조를 표현한다. 또한 XML/EDI는 인터넷을 기반으로 하므로 웹을 통해 EDI 메시지를 교환하고자, 메시지 포맷으로 XML을 사용하며, 통신방법은 HTTP를 사용한다.

  • 최근 XML이 인터넷을 기반으로 하는 문서의 표준으로 급속히 확산됨에 따라, 기존 관계형 데이터베이스에 저장되어 있는 데이터와 XML과의 상호 호환문제가 급격히 부상되었다. 문제 해결을 위해서 다각적인 연구가 진행되고 여러 방법론이 제시되었으나, 이제까지의 방법들은 특정 경우에는 제대로 처리하지 못 하거나, 많은 부분을 사용자가 직접 생각하여 작성하게 하는 등의 불편을 안고 있었다. 이러한 한계점을 개선하기 위해서, 본 논문에서는 사용자의 부담을 최소화하는 동시에, 정보의 손실없이 자동적으로 XML 문서작성이 이루어질 수 있는 방법을 제시하였다.
