휴대폰과 같은 이동 단말기의 등장으로 무선 인터넷을 통한 정보 통신이 빠르게 증가되고 있는 추세이다. 그러나 각 통신사별 마크업 언어는 표준화가 완료되지 않았으며 이동통신 단말기의 계속적인 발달로 인하여 각 이동통신 단말기 플랫폼 별로 다른 데이터 포맷을 지원하여 모든 이동통신 단말기에서 서비스 가능하게 하기 위해서는 모든 종류의 마크업 언어와 모든 이동 단말기 별로 별도의 컨텐츠를 제작해야 하는 어려움이 있다. 기존엔 단말기별로 컨테츠를 제작하였지만 이동 단말기에 최적인 컨텐츠를 서비스하기엔 단말기의 특성 및 종류가 너무 다양하기 때문에 데이터의 재사용의 필요가 증가되었다. 본 논문에서는 이동 단말기에 서비스를 할 컨텐츠를 기술한 공통 데이터인 Template 파일을 정의하였다. 그리고 ASP 컴포넌트인 Call Manager와 XSL Generator 컴포넌트의 설계 및 구현을 통해 효과적인 무선 인터넷 서비스를 할 수 있는 방법을 제안한다. 이동 단말기가 무선 인터넷 서비스를 요청하는 시점에 Call Manager 컴포넌트를 통해 단말기가 지원하는 마크업 언어 및 단말기의 하드웨어 사양을 알아내고 Template 파일을 기반으로 XSL Generator 컴포넌트가 단말기에 최적인 XSL 스타일 시트 파일을 동적 생성하고 XSLT 엔진을 통해 각 단말기에 컨텐츠를 서비스한다.

Operational Concept Descriptions or Document(OCD) shall be developed to understand stakeholder's desire for to-be-delivered system. But there is little study on methodology of OCD generation and many developers do not understand importance of OCD in Korea. According to Nicole Roberts' industry(18 U.S. companies and organizations) survey, only 30% of system development projects had OCD, too. Researchers and developers have opposing views regarding the generation of an OCD. Many researchers believe that the development and use of operational concepts at the start of large projects is essential. Alternatively, developers may view the OCD as a burden to the development process rather than an enabler due to the extensive documentation requirement. In this paper a couple of OCD guidelines were investigated to clarify how to build a CONOPS effectively and what to include. Finally, OCD for rotorcraft based Personal Air Vehicle System(PAVS) was developed as a case study. In the future, a template for generating OCD appropriate to Korean environment could be proposed.

본 논문에서는 XML 뷰 트리 기반 랩퍼의 질의 처리 모델을 제시한다. 질의 처리과정은 뷰 합성, 지역 정보원에 대한 질의 변환, 그리고 결과 문서 생성으로 이루어지며, 이를 위해 XML 뷰와 XNL 질의어를 XML 뷰 트리로 표현하는 XML 뷰 트리 기반의 질의 처리 모델을 제시한다. XML 뷰 트리는 가상의 XML 문서의 구조를 그대로 반영하기 때문에 경로식의 탐색이 쉽고, XML 뷰에 대응되는 XML 스키마 생성과 질의 결과 문서 생성을 위한 템플릿으로 사용될 수 있다. 또한, XML 뷰와 XML 질의의 XML 뷰 트리를 통한 개념적 통일은 다단계 XML 뷰 정의와 합성을 쉽게 지원한다.

SMIL은 XML을 기반으로 한 선언적 마크업 언어로서, 멀티미디어 개체들의 상호 유기적인 동기화로 워 상에서 효과적인 멀티미디어 표현을 가능하게 한다. 본 논문에서는 멀티미디어 통한 언어인 SMIL을 이용하여, 웹 멀티미디어 문서를 직관적으로 작성하고, 생성된 정보를 다양하게 활용 가능하게 하는 SMIL전용 저작도구를 설계 및 구현하였다. 문서의 생성, 관리, 저작 모듈뿐만 아니라, 일반 사용자에게 손쉬운 멀티미디어 표현(Presentation)의 저작을 제공하기 위하여 인터넷 망이 대역폭에 따른 템플릿 인터페이스를 제공하였고, SMIL 컨텐츠 데이터베이스 서버와의 연동으로 다수사용자를 위한 SMIL문서 관리 기능을 구현하였다.

본 논문은 인터넷상에서 사용이 가능하며 확장성이 뛰어나 XML(eXtensible Markup Language)을 다른 문서로 변환 및 브라우징(Browsing), 프리젠테이션(Presentation)이 가능한 표준 언어인 XSL(eXtensible Stylesheet Language)을 응용한 XSL 문서 편집 시스템의 설계 및 구현에 관한 것이다. 이를 위해 XSL문서의 기본 구조 단위를 패턴(Pattern)으로 구분하여 서식 집합(Template Rule)들을 사용자 서술 방식이 아닌 사용자의 선택 방식의 자동 생성으로 구성하도록 하였다. XSL 엘리먼트 (Element)의 선택방식은 구성되어진 XML문서를 읽어 들여 문서의 엘리먼트 정보를 확장할 수 있게 하였다. 또한 XML문서와 XSL문서의 HTML(HyperText Markup Language)로의 변환을 쉽게 확인할 수 있는 사용자 인터페이스(User Interface)를 구성하며 원활하게 문서를 교환 할 수 있도록 설계 구현 하였다.

XML이 인터넷 상에서 정보 교환을 위한 새로운 표준으로 채택됨에 따라 XML 문서의 효율적인 작성과 관리를 위한 다양한 형태의 편집기가 계속 개발되고 있다. 본 논문은 기존의 XML 문서 편집기가 가진 제약점을 살펴보고 이를 해결하기 위한 새로운 형태의 XML 문서 편집기를 제안한다. 기존의 XML 문서 편집은 대부분 트리 구조를 기반으로 하여 이루어지고 있으며, 이것은 사용자로 하여금 XML에 대한 어느 정도의 지식을 필요로 한다. 그러나 XML 문서의 작성과 활용이 보편화되기 위해서는 이러한 문서 편집 방식에서 벗어나 누구나 쉽게 작성할 수 있는 환경이 제공되어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 이를 위해 트리 방식의 문서 편집뿐 만 아니라 문서의 양식을 반영하는 form을 기반으로 하는 편집 환경도 지원하는 새로운 XML 문서 편집기를 개발한다. Form외 생성은 template XML 문서와 XSLT을 통해 이루어지며 생성된 form은 내장된 HTML 브라우저를 통해 사용자에게 보여진다. Form에 입력된 사용자 데이터는 해당 XML 문서로 변환되어 데이터베이스에 저장된다.

Life cycle costing is one of the most effective approaches for the cost analysis of long-term life products, like as railroad vehicle. Life cycle costing includes the cost of concept design, development, manufacture, operating, maintenance and disposal. Especially, life cycle costing in the railroad industry has been focused on the maintenance cost. In this paper, we investigated the standard, guide and maintenance information of railroad vehicle. For this purpose, we suggested the unique templates of railroad vehicle maintenance information. We also performed maintenance cost analysis on the some sub-system of railroad vehicle for the case study.

A geometric kernel is the library of core mathematical functions that defines and stores 3D shapes in response to users'commands. We developed a light geometric kernel suitable to develop CAD/CAM application systems. The kernel contains geometric objects, such as points, curves and surfaces and a minimal set of functions for each type but does not contain lots of modeling and handling functions that are useful to create and maintain complex shapes from an idea sketch. The kernel was developed on MS-Windows NT using C++ with STL(Standard Template Library) but it is compatible with UNIX environments. This paper describes the structure of the kernel including several components: base, math, point sequence curve, geometry, translators. The base kernel gives portability to applications and the math kernel contains basic arithmetic and their classes, such as vector and matrix. The geometry kernel contains points, parametric curves, and parametric surfaces. A neutral fie format and programming and document styles are also presented in this paper.

This paper presents a documentation and development method to facilitate the certification of scientific computing software used in the safety analysis of nuclear facilities. To study the problems faced during quality assurance and certification activities, a case study was performed on legacy software used for thermal analysis of a fuelpin in a nuclear reactor. Although no errors were uncovered in the code, 27 issues of incompleteness and inconsistency were found with the documentation. This work proposes that software documentation follow a rational process, which includes a software requirements specification following a template that is reusable, maintainable, and understandable. To develop the design and implementation, this paper suggests literate programming as an alternative to traditional structured programming. Literate programming allows for documenting of numerical algorithms and code together in what is termed the literate programmer's manual. This manual is developed with explicit traceability to the software requirements specification. The traceability between the theory, numerical algorithms, and implementation facilitates achieving completeness and consistency, as well as simplifies the process of verification and the associated certification.

전화 기능과 컴퓨터 기능을 갖는 스마트폰의 보급으로 장소에 구애받지 않는 모바일 상거래에 대한 수요가 급증하고 있다. 상거래 서비스는 인증 기법을 적용하여 거래 내용과 거래 당사자에 대한 법적 구속력을 갖는 증거를 남겨야 한다. 스마트폰은 개인용 컴퓨터와 달리 개인정보 노출의 위험이 있고 기기 분실 및 도용에 따른 대리 인증이 상대적으로 쉽다. 기존의 패스워드 및 토큰 기반의 인증 기법은 사용자와 아이디를 물리적으로 연결시키지 못하므로 대리 인증 문제를 해결할 수 없다. 따라서 스마트폰을 모바일 상거래 플랫폼으로 활용하기 위해서는 법적 구속력이 있고 대리 인증이 어려운 새로운 사용자 인증 기법에 대한 연구가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 사용자 고유 음성 정보와 스마트폰 USIM 정보를 접목한 모바일 ID를 생성하고 이에 기반을 둔 사용자 인증 기법을 설계 및 구현하였다.
