  • Tilting train has been developed to increase the operational speed of the trains on conventional lines which have many curves. This train are tilted at curves to compensate for unbalanced carbody centrifugal acceleration to a greater extent than compensation produced by the track cant, so that passengers do not feel centrifugal acceleration and thus trains can run at higher speed at curves. This paper developed PDM(product data managemnet) to make a system engineering of TTX(tilting train express) with maximum operation speed 180 km/h.

고속열차 350km/h 주행시 열차풍이 방음벽 등 궤도에 수직평행한 선로변 구축물에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Effects of the Train Gust induced by High speed train at 350km/h on the Simple Vertical Surfaces Parallel to the Track)

  • After rapid running is begun in domestic, problem by the train gust that was not considered at existent train running appeared. If the High-Speed railway business speed rises by 350km/h in the future, is going to become more big problem. This study conducts an experiment that measure in local about KTX train beside Gyeong-Bu High speed railroad track about aerodynamics effect that happen by passage of train and analyzed. In case KTX II runs with the 350km/h speed, forecasted effect that get in the simple vertical surfaces parallel to tracks according to distance from rail center. Compared construction size with structural analysis in case do not consider with case that consider the train gust about sound proof walls representatively. As a result, proposed wind load standard that apply at sound proof walls design.

국내 철도 노반 흙재료의 반복재하에 따른 영구변형 발생 특성 및 상관성 분석 (Characteristic Analysis of Permanent Deformation in Railway Track Soil Subgrade Using Cyclic Triaxial Compression Tests)

  • 철도궤도 상부 흙노반은 궤광으로부터 전달된 열차하중을 지지하고 분산하는 기능을 갖는다. 성토체의 일반적인 흙노반은 흙재료를 다짐하여 조성하며 차량 반복하중에 의해 공용중 잔류침하가 발생하는 데 일정부분 기여한다. 흙노반의 잔류침하는 회복불가능한 영구변형이어서 궤도틀림 등 궤도 안전성을 크게 저하시킨다. 그럼에도 불구하고 현재까지 흙노반재료에 대한 역학적 시험을 바탕으로 합리적인 잔류침하 관리기준이 제시된 바 없다. 반면에 흙노반의 현장관리 및 판정기준은 강성평가 또는 현장들밀도시험에 의해서만 이루어지고 있어 불합리하다. 본 연구에서는 흙노반이 경험하는 전단응력비(${\tau}/{\tau}_f$)와 구속압(${\sigma}_3$)을 수치해석을 통해 구하고 이를 반영한 실내 흙노반 영구변형시험방법을 제시하였다. 제시된 시험방법을 이용하여 대표적인 철도건설현장 흙노반 재료로 만든 다짐시편에 대하여 반복삼축시험을 실시하였으며 이로부터 향후 잔류침하의 추정에 활용할 수 있는 기본 영구변형예측모델 모델계수를 구속압 및 전단응력비 수준별로 제시할 수 있었다.

  • 증강현실은 실세계의 정보와 가상의 정보를 연결시키기 위한 매개체가 요구되며, 이러한 매개체를 지속적으로 추적 인식하는 기술을 필요로 한다. 이러한 기술 중에 마커를 이용한 광학 트랙킹이 주류를 이루고 있으나 마커를 부착하는 과정이 불편하고 오래 걸리므로 최근에는 마커리스 트랙킹 기법이 활발히 연구되고 있다. 본 논문은 2차원 평면 즉 동일평면상의 특징점들을 트랙킹하는 방법이 아닌3차원 객체에 대한 특징점을 추출하여 실시간으로 트랙킹하는 방법을 제안한다, SURF(Speed Up Robust Features)를 이용하여 특징점을 추출하고 이를 POSIT(Pose Object System for Iteration) 알고리즘으로 3차원 객체의 회전과 이동정보를 얻어 실시간으로 객체를 추적한다. 추적 실패시 실시간으로 재추적이 가능하도록 빠른 특징점 추출과 매칭을 통하여 트랙킹에 적합한 특징점을 선택하여 객체의 위치와 회전 정보를 얻어 객체를 실시간으로 추적 및 재표현 하였다.

Mobile Robot with Artificial Olfactory Function

  • We have been developed an intelligent mobile robot with an artificial olfactory function to recognize odours and to track odour source location. This mobile robot also has ben installed an engine for speech recognition and synthesis and is controlled by wireless communication. An artificial olfactory system based on array of 7 gas sensors has been installed in the mobile robot for odour recognition, and 11 gas sensors also are located in the obttom of robot to track odour sources. 3 optical sensors are also in cluded in the intelligent mobile robot, which is driven by 2 D. C. motors, for clash avoidance in a way of direction toward an odour source. Throughout the experimental trails, it is confirmed that the intelligent mobile robot is capable of not only the odour recognition using artificial neural network algorithm, but also the tracking odour source using the step-by-step approach method. The preliminary results are promising that intelligent mobile robot, which has been developed, is applicable to service robot system for environmental monitoring, localization of odour source, odour tracking of hazardous areas etc.

경간형식과 고속열차 판토그라프 접촉력 특성의 상호관계에 대한 시험적 고찰 (An Experimental Study on the Correlation between Span Types and the Contact Force of the Pantograph for High-speed Train)

  • In this paper, we introduce the on-line test of the current collection characteristics for HSR 350x(Korea High Speed Train project) that have been performed in the Kyoung-bu high-speed line since 2002. Through the analysis of measured data during on-line test, the variation trend of contact force between pantograph and contact wire of catenary according to the span type, the track conditions and driving patterns is reviewed. In order to analyze the variation trend of contact force, we have checked the span type of catenary in KP 24 - 125 out of Kyoung-bu high speed line and obtained the statistical processing result per each span type. This study shows that the track conditions do not affect on the dynamic performance between pantograph and contact wire catenary, and the span type and the driving pattern are important factors in determining the good interaction between them.

서울 지하철을 이용하는 승객들의 비악성 호흡기질환과 졸음 증상 유병물 분석 (Analysis on Non-malignant Respiratory and Drowsiness Rate Symptom for Passengers Using Subway in Seoul)

  • A self-administrated non-malignant respiratory symptoms questionnaire was sent to 1,099 citizens who take subway running in Seoul city. Symptom prevalence rate was high: 70.6% of subjects reported 'chest tightness', 43.4%, 'dysphnea'; 76.2%, 'dry cough'; 49.5%, 'runny nose'; 94.4%, 'drowsiness' when they take subway. The groups responding significant higher respiratory and drowsiness symptoms were 'young passengers' (vs elderly passengers), 'the female' (vs male), 'using subway everyday' (vs often), 'using subway for rush-hour time' (vs other than rush-hour), 'using transfer subway' (no transfer), 'using underground track' (vs ground track). Logistic. regression model was employed to find personal and subway characteristics affecting non-malignant respiratory symptoms. This study concluded that respiratory diseases history such as asthma, rhinitis, sinusitis, hypersensitivity pneumonitis significantly affect 'dry cough' and 'runny nose'. Thus, passengers with respiratory diseases history shows 2.8 times greater 'dry cough' than and 3.4 times greater 'runny nose' than those passengers without respiratory diseases history felt. This results indicated that several measures have to take to protect sensitive groups such as passengers with respiratory diseases, children and elderly people. Also passenger who use to transfer shows 1.7 times higher runny nose symptoms than that passenger who do not transfer felt.

Characterization of Antimicrobial Substance Producing Lactococcus sp. HM58 Isolated from Gastrointestinal Track of Flounder

  • A lactic acid bacterium showing antimicrobial activity against fish pathogen was isolated from gastrointestinal tract of flounder for the purpose of use as an aquaculture probiotics. From the analysis of morphological and physiological characteristics, the isolated strain was named as Lactococcus sp. HM58. Antimicrobial substance (AMS) from Lactococcus sp. HM58 showed strong growth inhibitory activity against Streptococcus sp., which is a fish pathogenic bacterium. AMS was presumed a proteinaceous compound with stability in heat and wide pH range from 2 to 10. It was started to produce in exponential growth phase and was not produced any more in stationary phase. It showed comparatively broad antimicrobial spectrum against most of gram positive bacteria used for this study. About $84\%$ of Lactococcus sp. HM58 was able to survive in the artificial gastric juice though it was low to the extent in the artificial bile juice. In the sensitivity test for various antibiotics, this strain was highly sensitive for doxycycline, erythromycin, amoxicillin clavu1anic acid and ampicillin.

질감 특징과 CAMShift 알고리즘을 이용한 무대 피사체 위치 추적 기법 설계 및 구현 (Design and Implementation of a Stage Object Location Tracking Method using Texture Feature and CAMShift Algorithm)

  • In this paper, we propose an robust CAMShift method to track stage objects with a camera. In order to solve the problem of tracking object misdetection in existing CAMShift technique, MBR region is detected to separate the background and the subject, and the subject size of the region of interest is calculated to solve the problem of erroneously detecting a large region having a similar color distribution ratio. Also, by applying the color corelogram and MB-LBP to the part that can not be solved by the color ratio and the size limitation, accurate texture tracking is enabled by reflecting the texture characteristics. Experimental results show that the proposed method has good tracking performance for objects that do not deviate from the size of the subject set in the area of interest and accurately extracts the texture characteristics of different subjects with similar color distribution ratios.
