지역난방 공동주택 시스템에서 Smith Predictor 제어기 적용성 연구 (Strategy to Maintain the Smith Predictor Controller in the District Heating System for Apartment Buildings)

  • It is known that the classical tuning formula for typical PID controllers in general provides unsatisfactory results for industrial plants where the time delay exceeds the dominant lag time. For this reason, alternative strategies have been studied in order to cope with this problem and the most popular scheme is the Smith Predictor(SP). In this paper, the dynamic model of a unit apartment in the district heating system, which is the control process effected by the dead-time, is developed, and the on/off room temperature control method with the SP simulate using Matlab-Simulink. The simulation results show that the SP works effectively in outdoor temperature variation.

  • The aim of this study was to analyze the apartment management expenses in the district of Pusan. The results of this study were as follows. 1. Haeundae Gu DB apartment showed the highest APT management expenses. 2. Kumjung Gu KSJK APT showed the Lowest management expenses. 3. The number of household and the period of construction didn’t have significant influences on the management expenses. 4. The method of heating system and the method of management had significant influences over the management expenses.

하수열원을 이용한 지역난방 적용성 검토 (A Study on the Application of District Heating System using Sewage Source)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the energy consumption, carbon dioxide emission & energy cost of district heating using sewage source. The annual TOE of heat pump using sewage source save 37.1 percent than city gas boiler. And annual carbon dioxide emission of heat pump cut down 41.3 percent than city gas boiler. If it charges the rate schedule for district heating to apartment resident, collected amount are 3,127,170 thousand won. As energy cost of heat pump & circulation pump are 1,378,072 thousand won. the profits are 1,749,098 thousand won. As payback period is 8.97years, applicability is low level. However, it has advantages in energy consumption, carbon dioxide emission & energy cost. Therefore, it needs to proceed through government assistance.

  • A simulation program is developed for analysing thermal networking process between the District heating and the CES(Community Energy Supply) systems. The effects of thermal networking on the District heating facilities previously being operated are implemented using mathematical correlations in terms of the fuel consumption and energy load such as heating and electricity. The operational characteristics according to the prime movers is modeled based on the materials of efficiency as a function of operational load. The unit energy load model is also developed extensively for several building types such as apartment complex, hotel, hospital, buildings for business and commercial use respectively. The specific features of the newly developed program in simulation of thermal networking process in district heating is described in terms of the reliability and the easiness for operating it etc.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop the new korean district heating system for apartment houses. The upper & lower side ondol system with multi sensing control system was developed as a new korean district heating system and evaluated in 2 mock-up laboratories last winter. As a result of field measurement, when the load differences between perimeter zone and central zone are increased, the ondol system divided in the upper and lower side can be evaluated as the new ondol system with a capability for suppling proper heating energy for each zone. The user can have the freedom for changing an upper zone and a lower zone and controlling each temperature according to their needs.

  • The purpose of this study was to develop a scheme for standardization of the apartment management expenses levy focused on the apartments of the individual heating system in Busan. The researcher with apartment managers and executive secretaries of Busan Citizen's Coalition for Economic Justice performed a scheme for standardization through discussion of 20 times as well as investigation of theoretical literature.     • In this study, we developed a heat supply control algorithm that minimizes the heat loss in the heat distribution pipelines used for supplying heat energy to shared group housing. Controlling the temperature and flow rate of the hot water supplied to the heat exchanger for shared group housing enables us to develop a heat supply control technique that meets the heating load required by each household in a shared apartment building in accordance with changes in the outdoor air temperature, and that minimizes the heat loss occurring in the heat distribution pipeline. A one-year study in 2008 on a 1,473-household D-apartment building in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea, compared the heat capacity used by each household, as well as the heat capacity supplied to the heat exchanger room of the apartment housing building, to calculate the amount of heat loss in the heat distribution pipeline. The results confirmed that 24.1% of the heat supplied was lost in the piping.

    • Particles or deposit formed by corrosion of the pipe material bring about bad influences on the heating systems with inconvenience, energy loss and so on. In order to obtain the non-corrosive environments, the circulation hot water should properly be treated in several ways to satisfy one or more conditions of the followings: suitable pH-level, low hardness, low oxygen content, low conductivity, low level of chlorides and sulphur compounds and low level of solid particles. This experimental study was carried out to develope the new guidelines on the optimal water quality and directions for water quality management in heating systems. As results, it was recommended that the heating water be maintained pH-level not less than 8, hardness contents as $CaCO_3$ no more than 50 mg/L, turbidity no more than 10 NTU and T-Fe contents 1 mg/L below.

    난방방식에 대한 소비자 가치 평가 (The Consumer Value for Residential Heating Systems)

    • In this study, a consumer willingness to pays for residential heating systems are estimated by economic valuation method. The major Korean residential heating systems in apartments are central heating system (CH), district heating system (DH), and individual heating system (IH). However, DH and IH systems are adopted in newly constructed apartments. Each heating system has own characteristics which residents can identify and value. 700 households in apartment were surveyed to analyze the preference of the residential heating systems and to estimate willingness to pay. We find that the households in DH system are more satisfied with their heating system than the households in other systems overall and that consumers prefer an apartment with DH system than with IH system and the willingness to pay for IH system is less than DH system. The results indicate that DH system has the relative premium which may be caused by the safety and the convenience to manage the system.

    • The article deals with system technology of a new solar heating system which systematically combines exiting solar collector technology, auxiliary electrical water heating, floor heating system and well insulated construction method and its application of this system to apartment house heating system in the cold region, and also analyzed performance of the new system in terms of technical and economic feasibility. Results shows that energy efficiency approaches up to 50% of the energy consumption of local construction from 1980 to 1981. The implementation of "DQ technology" to floor heating system achieved from 79% to 85% of the energy-saving benefits comparing to other housing units which were supplied by the local district heating plant.
