  • Recently, many studies on the supply chain management have been published due to increasing attention placed on the design and performance analysis of the supply chain as a whole. Using the Beer distribution game introduced in Sterman[1995], we develop a simple order-up-to-R inventory model to minimize sum of the inventory holding cost and shortage cost under probabilistic demand. We show that performance of the model is robust through extensive simulation experiment. Applying the model to serially connected supply chain, we observe that, if the unit shortage cost is relatively high, R value computed independently is an optimal solution.

  • This paper presents accelerated life tests for Type I censoring data under probabilistic stresses. Probabilistic stress, $S_j$, is the random variable for stress influenced by test environments, test equipments, sampling devices and use conditions. The hazard rate, ,$theta_j$, is the random variable of environments and the function of probabilistic stress. Also it is assumed that the general stress distribution is uniform, the life distribution for the given hazard rate, $\theta$, is exponential and inverse power law model holds. In this paper, we obtained maximum likelihood estimators of model parameters and the mean life in use stress condition.

  • For the mean vector of a p-variate normal distribution ($p{\geq}4$), the optimal estimation within the class of modified James-Stein type decision rules under the quadratic loss is given when the underlying distribution is that of a variance mixture of normals and when the norm ${\parallel}{\theta}-\bar{\theta}1{\parallel}$ it known.

  • This paper introduces two new subclasses of analytical functions with negative coefficients and derives coefficient estimates for these novel subclasses. Further, inclusion relations and necessary and sufficient conditions for the Poisson distribution series to belong to these subclasses are established.

  • Purpose: As the need to transition into the distribution of cleaner energy has garnered corporate and scholarly interests, this study aims to track the research trends in sustainable energy supply chains for five years before 2021. Research methodology: This study was conducted by a bibliometric literature review and analysis to map the field's evolution between 2016 and 2020. Out of an initial title search result of 2,484 papers from the Scopus engine, filtering led to 180 documents obtained. The data was exported in excel format (CSV) to VOSviewer software to generate and analyze network visualization of sustainable energy supply chain trends. Results: The results revealed China's the highest publishing country, with 36 research papers. The Journal of Cleaner Production was the top publishing source, with 22 papers per year. These findings showed five clusters formed in the bibliographic coupling of countries. Circular Economy and Green Supply Chain Management represent the current hot topics. Research gaps identified in the field included limited cross-industry testing and modifying sustainable supply chain models. Conclusion: This paper contributes to the sustainability literature on supply chains by providing an overview of trends and research directions for scholars' and practitioners' consideration in future research.

  • Wake distribution data of stem flow fields have been accumulated systematically by model tests. If the correlation between geometrical hull information and wake distribution is grasped through the accumulated data, this correlation can be helpful to designing similar ships. In this paper, Neuro-Fuzzy system that is emerging as a new knowledge over a wide range of fields nowadays is tried to estimate the wake distribution on the propeller plan. Neuro-Fuzzy system is well known as one of prospective and representative analysis method for prediction, classification, diagnosis of real complicated world problem, and it is widely applied even in the engineering fields. For this study three-dimensional stern hull forms and nominal wake values from a model test ate structured as processing elements of input and output layer, respectively. The proposed method is proved as an useful technique in ship design by comparing measured wake distribution with predicted wake distribution.

  • Objective : Bell's palsy is common and has many clinic study. but bell's palsy sequela is not enough study until now. So this study was evaluated bell's palsy sequela, catamnesis, demonstrator and herb. Methods : From December 2007 to November 2008, patients who visited Dong-seo Oriental Medicine ENT. A clinic study was done on patient who were diagosed bell's palsy, onset 2months over when first visited OPD and treated 3weeks over in Dong-seo Oriental Medicine Cental. To evaluate grade of paralysis, House-Brackman Scale was used. We classified period of improving, sequelas symptom except of facial muscle paralysis, Oriental Medicine diagnosis and herb. Results & Conculsion : 1. The distribution of sex : male 38.88%, female 61.11%. The distribution of age was presented that forty to fifty was the most in 10case(55.55%) 2. The distribution of the region of facial palsy : Rt(55.55%), Lt(44.44%) 3. In distribution of period of first HB-Scale improving : 1~2month was most in 10case(55.55%) 4. In distribution of symptom except of facial muscle paralysis : Dryness of eye 33.33%, Tearling 22.22%, Facial hypoesthesia 22.22%, Mastoid pain 22.22% 5. The distribution of demonstrator : Gi Deficiency and Deficiency of Both Gi and Blood was most in 11case(50%) 6. • Weibull distribution with two parameters, shape (k) and scale (s) parameters are used to model the fatigue failure analysis due to periodic vortex shedding of the synovial fluid in knee joints. In order to determine the later parameter, a suitable statistical model is required for velocity distribution of synovial fluid flow. Hence, wide applicability of Weibull distribution in life testing and reliability analysis can be applied to describe the probability distribution of synovial fluid flow velocity. In this work, comparisons of three most widely used methods for estimating Weibull parameters are carried out; i.e. the least square estimation method (LSEM), maximum likelihood estimator (MLE) and the method of moment (MOM), to study fatigue failure of bone joint due to periodic vortex shedding of synovial fluid. The performances of these methods are compared through the analysis of computer generated synovial fluidflow velocity distribution in the physiological range. Significant values for the (k) and (s) parameters are obtained by comparing these methods. The criterions such as root mean square error (RMSE), coefficient of determination ($R^2$), maximum error between the cumulative distribution functions (CDFs) or Kolmogorov-Smirnov (K-S) and the chi square tests are used for the comparison of the suitability of these methods. The results show that maximum likelihood method performs well for most of the cases studied and hence recommended.
