  • In this paper, a design and implementation for direct deal distribution platform is proposed to bypass the complex traditional distribution structure of agricultural market, as one of the fields where distribution patterns have changed. In the case of domestic agricultural distribution, demand and supply are unstable since the sales market is excessively concentrated in the designated wholesale market. Besides sales must go through multiple stages of distribution leading to problems in freshness and stability of agricultural products and downward pressure on profit margins for producers. To solve the above mentioned issues, we propose a cloud service convergence direct deal distribution platform based on asynchronous-driven Node.js. The proposed platform can facilitate a variety of direct trading functions and also access to visualization information related to agricultural products, which may increase user confidence at an intermediary-free direct transactions platform. First, we describe the requirements of intermediary-free direct transactions of agricultural products and transaction entities. Next the database structure and transaction functions are designed and then implemented according to those requirements. Finally, an API based cloud convergence service structure is designed to provide the analyzed information to ensure a trustworthy system.

  • Purpose: BTS Meal at McDonald's was launched in May 2021 in selected countries all over the world. BTS fans in Indonesia bought the BTS Meal and collectively donated to the online delivery drivers as a form of empathy. As a quantitative study, this paper aims to identify the influencing factors in sociopsychology for fans to buy products (BTS Meal) available online using celebrity endorsement strategy, as well as demonstrating social empathy as an extended effect. Research design, data and methodology: empirical research was conducted through an online survey sent to 150 participants using the purposive sampling method. Participants were BTS fans, or ARMYs, who bought BTS Meal and conducted donations. Data were then sorted and processed with path regression. Results: preference and role model influenced the buying behavior; however, these factors influenced social empathy only when mediated by consumption. Preference and role model alone did not have a direct influence on social empathy. Conclusions: Consumer behavior insight is relevant in distribution science. A meal distribution involving brand ambassadors is considerable, particularly with celebrities demonstrating quality in capturing fans' hearts through role modeling. When a distribution is conducted online using a brand ambassador, buying behavior could lead to a social impact.

  • Purpose: Controlling and minority shareholders sometimes have conflicting interests. Controlling shareholders who do not have adequate monitoring can exhibit a strong tendency to maximize their personal wealth. In this case, cash holdings can be the easiest means for them to pursue their personal interests. This study examined whether the largest shareholder's ownership proportion affected the speed at which firms adjust their cash holdings to target levels in Korean distribution and service companies. Research design, data, and methodology: The study uses regression analysis to examine 834 firm-year samples listed on the KOSPI between 2013 and 2018 in the distribution and service sectors. Results: The largest shareholder's ownership is positively related to a firm's cash holdings adjustment speed. That is, the larger the largest shareholder's ownership, the faster the firm adjusts its cash holdings to achieve the target level. Conclusions: This study contributes to the literature by providing evidence that the cash holdings adjustment speed in Korean service and distribution companies is affected by the largest shareholder's ownership. As the agency problem between controlling and minority shareholders in Korea is a major issue, minority owners' sensitivity to agency costs may help restrict controlling owners' ability to maximize their personal wealth.

  • The United States is Korea's important trading partner, ranking third (13.7%) in exports of fishery products in Korea. The impact on exports to the United States is expected to be significant if the seafood import provisions under the MMPA are implemented in 2024 accordingly. It is expected that documents proving production information will be required for all items when exporting to the U.S. Therefore, this study attempted to examine the current status of exports and exporters in order to understand the actual conditions of major fishery products exported to the United States. Besides, there are currently no official system and procedures in Korea to prove production information for all fishery items, so we tried to suggest implications by examining distribution channels for major export items to the U.S. In this study, five items including seaweed and halibut as domestic aquaculture items, tuna and squid as deep-sea fishing items, and fish cake using imported raw materials were selected as the target items for distribution channel investigation. In addition, this study is meaningful in that it investigated the routes from production to processing, distribution, and export of each item and identified detailed distribution channel for major items exported to the U.S.

  • Purpose: Edutech, which is the application of information and communication technology to education, is being introduced in various ways across all levels, from primary and secondary education to lifelong education. The purpose of this study was to present metadata about Edutech tools to provide the method for providing various Edutech tools. Research design, data, and methodology: To achieve the research purpose, the necessary elements for the metadata of Edutech tools were first derived based on a literature review. A focus group interview (FGI) with experts was conducted to gather opinions on the developed metadata, further validating its appropriateness. Results: The metadata area consisted of "Basic Information", "Product Information", and "Utilization Information". The "Basic Information" section had 9 items, "Product Information" had 8 items, and "Utilization Information" was presented with 4 items. Conclusions: This study proposed metadata for Edutech tools, which can be utilized to develop distribution system to proliferate and harness various Edutech tools in the educational setting. For the future establishment of an Edutech tool distribution system based on this metadata, it's imperative to operate a credible platform to ensure a stable distribution framework.

  • In a parametric sample selection model, the distribution assumption is critical to obtain consistent estimates. Conventionally, the normality assumption has been adopted for both error terms in selection and main equations of the model. The normality assumption, however, may excessively restrict the true underlying distribution of the model. This study introduces the $S_U$-normal distribution into the error distribution of a sample selection model. The $S_U$-normal distribution can accommodate a wide range of skewness and kurtosis compared to the normal distribution. It also includes the normal distribution as a limiting distribution. Moreover, the $S_U$-normal distribution can be easily extended to multivariate dimensions. We provide the log-likelihood function and expected value formula based on a bivariate $S_U$-normal distribution in a sample selection model. The results of simulations indicate the $S_U$-normal model outperforms the normal model for the consistency of estimators. As an empirical application, we provide the sample selection model for car ownership and a car expense relationship.

  • Transform variation technique is constituted the vibration status of the flash-gap recognition level (FGRL) on the distribution recognition function. The recognition level condition by the distribution recognition function system is associated with the scattering vibration system. As to search a position of the dot model, we are consisted of the distribution value with character point by the output signal. The concept of recognition level is composed the reference of flash-gap level for variation signal by the distribution vibration function. For displaying a variation of the FGRL of the maximum-average in terms of the vibration function, and distribution position vibration that was the a distribution value of the far variation of the $Dis-rf-FA-{\alpha}_{MAX-AVG}$ with $5.74{\pm}1.12$ units, that was the a distribution value of the convenient variation of the $Dis-rf-CO-{\alpha}_{MAX-AVG}$ with $1.64{\pm}0.16$ units, that was the a distribution value of the flank variation of the $Dis-rf-FL-{\alpha}_{MAX-AVG}$ with $0.74{\pm}0.24$ units, that was the a distribution value of the vicinage variation of the $Dis-rf-VI-{\alpha}_{MAX-AVG}$ with $0.12{\pm}0.01$ units. The scattering vibration will be to evaluate at the ability of the vibration function with character point by the distribution recognition level on the FGRL that is showed the flash-gap function by the recognition level system. Scattering recognition system will be possible to control of a function by the special signal and to use a distribution data of scattering vibration level.

  • In this paper, an optimal power distribution algorithm is proposed for the small electric vehicle with front in-line and rear in-wheel motors. First, it is assumed that the vehicle driving torque and velocity are given conditions. And, an optimal problem is defined that finding the front and rear motor torques which minimizes the battery power. From the above optimization problem, the optimized front-rear motor torque distribution map is obtained. And, the vehicle simulations are performed to verify the performance of the optimal power distribution algorithm which is proposed in this study. The simulations are performed based on the federal urban driving schedule for two cases which are constant ratio power distribution, and optimal power distribution. From the simulation results, it is found that the optimal power distribution shows the 6.3% smaller battery energy consumption than the constant ratio power distribution.

  • Many circular distributions are known to be not only asymmetric but also bimodal. Hidden truncation method of generating asymmetric distribution is applied to a bivariate circular distribution to generate an asymmetric circular distribution. While many other existing asymmetric circular distributions can only model an asymmetric data, this new circular model has great flexibility in terms of asymmetry and bi-modality. Some properties of the new model, such as the trigonometric moment generating function, and asymptotic inference about the truncation parameter are presented. Simulation and real data examples are provided at the end to demonstrate the utility of the novel distribution.
