  • Often Regular Measurement Target 32 Spots which are distributed at Seo-gu in Incheon Metropolitan and Odour Emission Target 100 Factories based on the task instruction of Ministry of Environment in Korea were selected by considering to atmosphere phenomena and regional characteristics etc. This paper aims at building the Decreasing Prediction System of Odour which is capable of comparing and examining the concentration distribution by odour compounds, the distribution maps of odour diffusion and the contribution degree of sphere of influence, which is discharged from these above spots and factories.

  • Many higher fungi were collected at Korea from 1976 to 1998. They were identified and surveyed on resources with many reference books. According to the results, fungal fungi were 40 families, 90 general and 215 species. Among them , anti-cancer resources used in Korea were Ganoderma lucidum, Phellinus linteus, Agaricus brazei and Cordyceps militaris. Three species exception Agaricus brazei were distributed in Korea. All these are cultivated in Korea.

  • In this paper we study the geometry of codimension 2 screen conformal Einstein half lightiike submanifolds M of a semi-Riemannian manifold $(\={M}(c),\={g})$ of constant curvature c, with a Killing co-screen distribution on $\={M}$. The main result is a classification theorem for screen homothetic Einstein half lightlike submanifold of Lorentzian space forms.

  • The BMAP/M/N/0 queueing system operating in Markovian random environment is investigated. The stationary distribution of the system is derived. Loss probability and other performance measures of the system also are calculated. Numerical experiments which show the necessity of taking into account the influence of random environment and correlation in input flow are presented.

  • In this paper we derived the asymptotic relative efficiency, ARE(ms, rs), of our new score function with respect to the McKean and Sievers scores for the asymmetric error distributions which often occur in practice. We thoroughly explored the asymptotic relative efficiency, ARE(ms, rs), of our score function that provides much improvement over the McKean and Sievers scores for all values of r and s under asymmetric distributions.

  • When the correlation of two random variables is weak, the value of one variable can not be used effectively to predict the other. Even when most of the values are overlapped, it is difficult to find a linear relationship. In this paper, we propose two graphical methods of representing the measures of correlation and independence between two random variables. The first method is used to represent their degree of correlation, and the other is used to represent their independence. Both of these methods are based on the cumulative distribution functions defined in this work.

  • The purpose of this paper is to investigate the properties of order statistics under various stochastic relations. We study the stochastic comparison of order statistics in a single sample. And we consider two sample case too. For example, F(t) > G9t) for t > 0 when X and Y are random variables symmetric about 0, with c.d.f.s F and G. Two examples are provided.

  • A two stage shrinkage testimator for the mean of an exponential distribution is considered with the assumption that an initial estimate of the mean is available. Mean squared error(MSE) of testimator and its relative efficiency (to usual single sample mean) are briefly reviewed. It is shown that relative efficiency depends only on the ratio of true mean value and its initial estimate.

  • A new graphical method, named transformed quantize-quantile (TQQ), of a quantize-quantile (Q-Q) Plot is developed for the detection of deviations from the normal distribution. It will be shown that TQQ is helpful for detecting patterns of how points depart from normality. TQQ characteristics of the various kinds of representations are illustrated by a generated sample from a composite of a normal distribution and a clinical example for TQQ is constructed and explained.

  • We shall consider parametric estimations for the scale parameter in the exponential distribution when the parameter is function of a known exposure level, and obtain expectations and variances for their proposed estimators. And we shall compare numerically efficiencies for proposed estimators of the scale parameter in the small sample sizes.
