This study was designed to elucidate the lipid and its fatty acid composition in various tissues of cat fish, Parasilurus asotus. The free lipid contents in meat, skin and viscera were 5.62%, 26.34% and 19.27%, whereas the bound lipid contents in those tissues were 2.34%, 2.30% and 19.27%, respectively. The neutral lipid contents in free lipid were 5 times higher than those in bound lipid, while the phospholipid contents in bound lipid were 4 times higher than those in free lipid. The neutral lipid was mainly composed of triglyceride (79.84%-99.86%) in free lipid, and esterified sterol & hydrocarbon (55.12-64.33%) in bound lipid. The phospholipid was mainly composed of phosphatidyl choline (52.38-69.98%) and phosphatidyl ethanolamine (24.09-40.48%) in free lipid, and phosphatidyl choline (53.03-58.54%) and phosphatidyl ethamolamine (13.80-19.23%) in bound lipid. The major fatty acids of polar lipid in free and bound lipids were C16:0 (28.37%, 21.99%), C18:1 (12.01%, 11.52%), C18:2 (17.93%, 14.12%) and C22:6 (17.22%, 20.63%), and those of nonpolar lipid in free and bound lipids were C16:0 (14.81%, 18.94%), C18: 1 (25.93%, 10.89%) and C22:6 (9.95%,23.44%), respectively. The total essential fatty acid (TEFA) content in skin was slightly higher than that in meat. In both polar and nonpolar lipids in meat ${\omega}3-HUFA$ contents of polar lipid were 1.5-2.0 times higher than nonpolar lipid and also ${\omega}3-HUFA$ content of bound lipid was slightly higher than that of free lipid. There were significant differences in the lipid classification and its fatty acid composition between free and bound lipids and/or in various tissues.
Temperatures in urban areas are steadily rising due to rapid urbanization and on-going climate change. Since the spatial distribution of heat in a city varies by region, it is crucial to investigate detailed thermal characteristics of urban areas. Recently, many studies have been conducted to identify thermal characteristics of urban areas using satellite data. However, satellite data are not sufficient for precise analysis due to the trade-off of temporal and spatial resolutions. In this study, in order to examine the thermal characteristics of Daegu Metropolitan City during the summers between 2012 and 2016, Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) daytime and nighttime land surface temperature (LST) data at 1 km spatial resolution were downscaled to a spatial resolution of 250 m using a machine learning method called random forest. Compared to the original 1 km LST, the downscaled 250 m LST showed a higher correlation between the proportion of impervious areas and mean land surface temperatures in Daegu by the administrative neighborhood unit. Hot spot analysis was then conducted using downscaled daytime and nighttime 250 m LST. The clustered hot spot areas for daytime and nighttime were compared and examined based on the land cover data provided by the Ministry of Environment. The high-value hot spots were relatively more clustered in industrial and commercial areas during the daytime and in residential areas at night. The thermal characterization of urban areas using the method proposed in this study is expected to contribute to the establishment of city and national security policies.

Bioaerosols generated from wastewater treatment plants may create health risks for plant workers and nearby residents. To determine the levels of culturable airborne bacteria and fungi in bioaerosols, samples were seasonally collected above and near the aeration tanks of one feces-urine and three sewage treatment plants in Ulsan, Korea with an impaction-type sampler. In the feces-urine treatment plant, concentrations of heterotrophic bacteria were between $1.3({\pm}0.2){\times}10^3$ and $2.6({\pm}1.2){\times}10^4$ MPN/$m^3$ above the aeration tank and between $1.7({\pm}1.0){\times}10^2$ and $7.2({\pm}2.2){\times}10^3$ MPN/$m^3$ near the aeration tank. Coliform bacteria were detected both above and near the aeration tank. In cases of sewage treatment plant, the numbers of heterotrophic bacteria ranged from $1.9({\pm}1.2){\times}10^1$ to $1.8({\pm}1.2){\times}10^4$ MPN/$m^3$ above the aeration tank and from $5.0({\pm}2.8){\times}10^0$ to $6.6({\pm}2.0){\times}10^3$ MPN/$m^3$ near the aeration tank. At reference sites, the concentrations of heterotrophs in ambient air were measured between $7.0{\times}10^0$ and $2.7{\times}10^1$ MPN/$m^3$. When we isolated and tentatively identified heterotrophic bacteria, Pseudomonas luteola was the most dominant species in bioaerosols from wastewater treatment plants, whereas the most abundant one in reference samples was Micrococcus sp. When we measured fungal concentrations in bioaerosols, they were rather similar regardless of sampling locations and seasons, and such genera as Cladosporium, Alternaria, and Penicillium were commonly identified.

Until now, the study of eye refractive error examination for high school students are a few report that in Korea. In particular, there is few report about the visual power for same group during several years. We compared the study of refractive error done this year with that reported three years ago at the same high school. From the these data, the distribution of ammetropia was investigated. The study of refractive error for high school students was also compared with those reported before for the Adults and the middle school student. When the visual power is refered to spherical equivalent, the 36% of the whole students examined above had emmetropia and the other part of them fumed out to be ammetropia which is classify to 60.6% belonged to myopia and 4.4% belonged to hyperpia. The ratio of myopia for this year students is increased in comparision with the students in 1995. The ratio of emmetropia for this year students is 7.4% higher, and the ratio of myopia for this year students is 4% higher, but the ratio of hyperopia is very lower than that for the adults in 1997. In the kind of refractive error, it is classified that a simple myopia is shown to highest ratio as a 28.6% of 1212 eyes examined, a compound myopic astigmatism to the next high ratio as a 22.4%, a simple myopic astigmatism as 14.4%, a simple hyperopic astigmatism as 3.1%, a mixed astigmatism as a 1.7%, a simple astigmatism as 1.2%, a compound hyperopic astigmatism as 1.2%, respectively. The percentage of an astigmatism is a 76.7% of total eyes examined if Cyl-0.25 Dptr is included to an astigmatism. On the other hand, The percentage of an astigmatism is a 45.6% of total eyes examined if Cyl-0.25 Dptr is excluded to an astigmatism. In the kind of astigmatism, the number of students had an astigmatism with the rule is about 4.5 times than that of astigmatism against the rule. From the result of comparision the right eye with the left eye, the right eye of the students had more a myopic refractive error than the left eye, which is same as adults' case, there is no difference in a refractive error between the boy students and the girl students.
Net radiation is the total amount of radiation energy used as a heat flux for the Earth's energy cycle, and net radiation from the surface is an important factor in areas such as hydrology, climate, meteorological studies and agriculture. It is very important to monitoring the net radiation through remote sensing to be able to understand the trend of heat island and urbanization phenomenon. However, net radiation estimation using only remote sensing data is generally causes difference in accuracy depending on cloud. Therefore, in this paper, we retrieved and monitored high resolution surface net radiation at 1 hour interval in Eunpyeong New Town where urbanization using Communication, Ocean and Meteorological Satellite (COMS), Landsat-8 satellite and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) model data reflecting the difference in building height. We compared the observed and estimated net radiation at the flux tower. As a result, estimated net radiation was similar trend to the observed net radiation as a whole and it had the accuracy of RMSE $54.29Wm^{-2}$ and Bias $27.42Wm^{-2}$. In addition, the calculated net radiation showed well the meteorological conditions such as precipitation, and showed the characteristics of net radiation for the vegetation and artificial area in the spatial distribution.

Dose distribution throughout the clinical organ range of motion was analyzed using a respiratory-motion simulator that was equipped with a polymer gel dosimeter and EBT2 film. The normoxic polymer gel dosimeter was synthesized from gelatin, MAA, HQ, THPC and HPLC. The gel dosimeter and EBT2 film were irradiated with Co-60 gamma rays that were moved along the x-axis and y-axis in ${\pm}1.5cm$ steps at five-second intervals. The field size was $5{\times}5cm^2$. The SSD was 80 cm and set to 10 Gy at a depth of 2 cm. The PDD at a depth of 50 mm was 75.2% in the ion chamber, 82.3% in the static state and 86.1% in the dynamic state in the gel dosimeter. The penumbra for the dynamic state target, which was measured using the gel dosimeter, averaged 10.89 mm, this is a 40.5% increase over the penumbra of the static state target of 7.74 mm. In addition, when measuring with gel dosimetry, the value for the penumbra is 36.6% smaller in the static state and 29.4% smaller in the dynamic state compared to measuring with film. The aim of this study was to investigate the dosimetric properties of a normoxic polymethacrylic acid gel dosimeter in static and dynamic states and to evaluate the potentiality as a relative dosimeter for dynamic therapeutic radiation.

Non-point source control system which had been designed only for oil-water separation in the fields of oil refinery and garage was upgraded in this research for the removal of runoff pollutants in impervious urban area. Pollutants including oil from driveway and bridge were eliminated by two types of pathway in the system. One is the coalescence mechanism that the oil droplets in the runoff come into contact with each other in the spiral buoyant media surface and form larger coalesced droplets of oil that are carried upstream to the oil layer. The other is the precipitation that solids in runoff were settled by gravity in the system. In this research, coalescing characteristics of oil and water separation were investigated through image analyses, and efficiencies of the non-point source control system were evaluated using dust in driveway and waste engine oil. Media made of high density and high molecular weight polyethylene was indeterminate helical shape and had sleek surface by analysing SEM photographs and BET. Surface area and specific gravity of media which were measured directly were 1,428 $mm^2$ and 45.3 $kg/m^3$ respectively. From the image analyses of the oil droplets photographs which were taken by using microscope, it was proved clearly that the coalescence was the main pathway in the removal of oil from the runoff. Finally, the performances of the non-point source control system filled up with the media were suspended solid $86.6\sim95.2%$, $COD_{Cr}$, $87.3\sim95.4%$, n-Hexane extractable materials $71.8\sim94.8%$ respectively.

Purpose: Analyze the Effectiveness of Radiation Treatment Planning by dose calculation and optimization algorithm, apply consideration of actual treatment planning, and then suggest the best way to treatment planning protocol. Materials and Methods: The treatment planning system use Eclipse 10.0. (Varian, USA). PBC (Pencil Beam Convolution) and AAA (Anisotropic Analytical Algorithm) Apply to Dose calculation, DVO (Dose Volume Optimizer 10.0.28) used for optimized algorithm of Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), PRO II (Progressive Resolution Optimizer V 8.9.17) and PRO III (Progressive Resolution Optimizer V 10.0.28) used for optimized algorithm of VAMT. A phantom for experiment virtually created at treatment planning system, $30{\times}30{\times}30$ cm sized, homogeneous density (HU: 0) and heterogeneous density that inserted air assumed material (HU: -1,000). Apply to clinical treatment planning on the basis of general treatment planning feature analyzed with Phantom planning. Results: In homogeneous density phantom, PBC and AAA show 65.2% PDD (6 MV, 10 cm) both, In heterogeneous density phantom, also show similar PDD value before meet with low density material, but they show different dose curve in air territory, PDD 10 cm showed 75%, 73% each after penetrate phantom. 3D treatment plan in same MU, AAA treatment planning shows low dose at Lung included area. 2D POP treatment plan with 15 MV of cervical vertebral region include trachea and lung area, Conformity Index (ICRU 62) is 0.95 in PBC calculation and 0.93 in AAA. DVO DVH and Dose calculation DVH are showed equal value in IMRT treatment plan. But AAA calculation shows lack of dose compared with DVO result which is satisfactory condition. Optimizing VMAT treatment plans using PRO II obtained results were satisfactory, but lower density area showed lack of dose in dose calculations. PRO III, but optimizing the dose calculation results were similar with optimized the same conditions once more. Conclusion: In this study, do not judge the rightness of the dose calculation algorithm. However, analyzing the characteristics of the dose distribution represented by each algorithm, especially, a method for the optimal treatment plan can be presented when make a treatment plan. by considering optimized algorithm factors of the IMRT or VMAT that needs to optimization make a treatment plan.
This study was carried out to understand the characteristic relations fruit changes caused by adjusting the amount of the fruit load in 'Niitaka' and 'Whangkeumbae'. The average fruit weight of 'Niitaka' was 672.0 g and the amount of fruit in the range of 601-750 g was the highest, accounting for 33.8% of the production and as for 'Whangkeumbae', the average fruit weight was 477.5 g and fruit in the range of 401-600 g accounted for 72.5% of total production. The weight of the 'Niitaka' was evenly distributed in each range from below 300 g to over 1 kg and the percent of the regular shaped fruit in 'Whangkeumbae' was high as the distribution range of the fruit weight was narrow. The brix degree and the soluble solid content (SSC)/acidity ratio of 'Niitaka' had a significantly positive correlation with the fruit weight, the length, and the diameter of the fruit. The brix degree also had a positive correlation with weight and diameter of the fruit for 'Whangkeumbae'. As for the difference in fruit quality according to fruit weight for each variety, the brix degree was low in 'Niitaka' that were below 451 g and the fruit firmness was low in fruits weighing under 400 g. There was no difference according to fruit weight in 'Whangkeumbae'. The fruit size was impacted by the fleshy part and the ratio of fleshy part was higher as the fruit size became larger. The weight of the fruit, brix degree, and the SSC/acidity ratio were low while the firmness was high in light thinning treatment for 'Niitaka' and in the case of 'Whangkeumbae', the fruit weight and brix degree were both low in light thinning treatment. The brix degree was higher in bigger sized fruit in all thinning intensity for 'Niitaka', the case in light thinning treatment especially where the quality was poor due to low brix degree in fruits that weighed less than 450 g, on the other hand, there was no difference in the quality due to the fruit weight among the thinning intensity for 'Whangkeumbae'. Therefore, it is possible to produce smaller sized fruits in 'Niitaka' by controlling the thinning intensity, as it is inevitable to result in lower quality fruits, however, it is projected that we can produce small to mid-sized fruits in 'Whangkeumbae' by controlling the thinning intensity without causing the decline in fruit quality.
