  • Location based services based on positions of moving objects are expanding the business area gradually. The location is included all estimate position of the future as well as the position of the present and the past. Location based routing service is active business application in which the position information of moving objects is applied efficiently. This service includes the trajectory of past positions, the real-time tracing of present position of special moving objects, and the shortest and optimized paths combined with map information. In this paper, we describes the location based routing services is extend in distributed web GIS environment. Web GIS service systems provide the various GIS services of analyzing and displaying the spatial data with friendly user - interface. That is, we propose the efficient architecture and technologies for servicing the location based routing services in distributed web GIS environment. The position of moving objects is acquired by GPS (Global Positioning System) and converted the coordinate of real world by map matching with geometric information. We suppose the swapping method between main memory and storages to access the quite a number of moving objects. And, the result of location based routing services is wrapped the web-styled data format. We design the schema based on the GML. We design these services as components were developed in object-oriented computing environment, and provide the interoperability, language-independent, easy developing environment as well as re - usability.

  • Based on Nonlinear Finite Element Analysis (NFEA), this paper focuses on the bi-axial ultimate strength of typical bottom structures under corrosion. On one hand, uniform and not simultaneous corrosion across different structures is introduced, and surrogate models by Gaussian Process (GP) are built for both longitudinal and transverse cases individually, and corresponding probabilistic characteristics are investigated; meanwhile, corrosion effects on interaction between bi-axial stresses at ultimate state are studied. On the other hand, non-uniform localized pitting corrosion of normally distributed circular shapes is introduced, and different pitting corrosion densities are considered; structural bi-axial ultimate strengths under pitting corrosion are studied, and the results are compared with that from equivalent uniform corrosion; the probabilistic characteristics of structural ultimate strength in life cycle are studied; finally, the ultimate strength under randomly distributed pitting corrosion is compared with results from normally distributed pitting and uniform corrosion under various boundary conditions.

  • Web science, a general discipline of learning is presently at high demand of expertise with ideas to develop software-based WebApps and MobileApps to facilitate user or customer demand e.g. shopping etc. electronically with the access at their smartphones benefitting the business enterprise as well. A worldwide-computerized reservation network is used as a single point of access for reserving airline seats, hotel rooms, rental cars, and other travel related items directly or via web-based travel agents or via online reservation sites with the advent of social-web, e-commerce, e-business, from anywhere-on-earth (AoE). This results in the accumulation of large and diverse distributed databases known as big data. This paper describes a novel intelligent web-based electronic booking framework for e-business with distributed computing and data mining support with the detail of e-business system flow for e-Booking application architecture design using the approaches for distributed computing and data mining tools support. Further, the importance of business intelligence and data analytics with issues and challenges are also discussed.

  • In highly dynamic IoT environments, the connection statuses of IoT resources and the availability of IoT-based services change frequently. Therefore, to successfully build distributed service registries for managing and finding the information about available services in an effective manner, it is crucial to minimize the overhead of message exchanges between registries and to reduce the time overhead for identifying the capabilities of available IoT resources and the services that can be provided by utilizing these capabilities. In this paper, we propose a lightweight messaging approach that uses hierarchical Bloom filters to efficiently represent service information to be exchanged and managed by distributed service registries for IoT environments with high mobility. We also propose a method for serializing the dimensions of a Bloom-filter-encoded search space. We conducted experiments to demonstrate the improvement in the service discovery performance, the reduction in message traffic among service registries, and the decrease in the latency when synchronizing distributed service registries.

  • OpenDaylight is an SDN (Software Defined Networking) open source framework, which is popular in network fields recently. This paper analyzes the performance of a controller cluster architecture by focusing on distributed datastore and Raft leader election algorithm. In addition, we propose an enhanced version of Raft algorithm in order to improve the performance of distributed datastore by distributing shard leaders over controller cluster. This paper compares the conventional Raft algorithm with the proposed version of the Raft algorithm. Moreover, we compare the performance of distributed datastore according to shard roles such as leader and follower. Experimental results show that Shard leaders provide better performance than followers and Shard updating requests need to be distributed over multiple controllers. So, by using proposed version of Raft algorithm, controller performance can be improved. The details of the experiment results are cleary described.

  • Usually, The data transmission processing efficiency of the distributed system running on high speed networks depends on the system architecture and the data transmission processing system. In order to secure the real-time rate and the system reliability, the real-time distributed simulation system on the distributed environment has tried to satisfy the performance required by the data transmission processing system. However, the client/server-based data transmission processing system in the real-time simulation system has been difficult to satisfy the system stability, extensibility and maintenability, especially when system changes. So, it is natural to study another improved data transmission processing system to solve the problems at the existing real-time simulation system. After analyzing the existing real-time simulation system, this paper will propose the improved real-time data transmission system by using Software Design Pattern, which enhances extensibility, interoperability, reusability and maintenability of the system.

  • Recently, due to an explosive growth of the internet traffic, the limitations of a current framework for a mobility management have been focused. The current centralized mobility management is prone to several problems and limitations: suboptimal routing, low scalability, signaling overhead, and a single point of failure. To overcome these problems and limitations, IETF is working about the distributed mobility management scheme that the centralized mobility functions of HA(Home Agents) are distributed to networks edges such as access routers. These distributions of mobility functions overcome the limitations of the centralized mobility managements and go with the trend of flat networks e.g. more simple network architecture. This paper analyzes the distributed mobility management based on Proxy Mobile IPv6 and demonstrates the performance superiority.

  • It is difficult to test a distributed system because of the task of controlling concurrent events,. Existing works do not propose the test sequence generation algorithm in a formal way and the amount of message is large due to synchronization. In this paper, we propose a formal test sequence generation algorithm using logical clock to control concurrent events. It can solve the control-observation problem and makes the test results reproducible. It also provides a generic solution such that the algorithm can be used for any possible communication paradigm. In distributed test, the number of channels among the testers increases non-linearly with the number of distributed objects. We propose a new remote test architecture for solving this problem. SDL Tool is used to verify the correctness of the proposed algorithm and it is applied to the message exchange for the establishment of Q.2971 point-to-multipoint call/connection as a case study.

  • This paper describes the architecture and modeling of adaptive and reconfigurable OS in wireless distributed sensor networks. Before initial sensor nodes are deployed in a sensor field, minimum functions including basic OS and routing algorithms are required for these nodes to send request messages for dynamic reconfigurations and receive response messages from a task manager. When the downloading is finished, each sensor node can reconfigure the initial state and be ready to start its functions. By applying this reconfigurable modeling, sensor nodes can be easily deployed in the sensor field and dynamically programmed during a bootstrap process.
