Embracing the important roles of presence, this study focused on exploring how to enhance online learners' learning engagement and learning achievement in distance higher education settings. More specifically, this study examined the structural relationships among university students' teaching presence, social presence, learning engagement, and perceived learning achievement in online learning environments using structural equation modeling. Data were collected from 206 university students enrolled in online courses in the second semester of 2020 at two large universities. According to the results of the data analysis, there was a significant relationship between teaching and social presence. Teaching presence and social presence predicted learning engagement that positively affected perceived learning achievement. Teaching presence was strongly associated with perceived learning achievement while social presence had a negative impact on that. Additionally, learning engagement had a mediating effect on the relationship between teaching presence and perceived learning achievement. This study found that students who perceived higher levels of teaching and social presences tend to more engage in learning, leading to perceiving better learning achievement. The findings suggest that the design, development, and implementation of effective online instruction should be needed to promote learning engagement, which can be linked to enhancing students' learning achievement. Implications and discussion are addressed in this article.

There are making epoch changes of a teaching method and educational contents as information communication technology (ICT) introduced to school education. The 7th curriculum induces that teaching hours should be assigned to education using ICT more than 10% of all classroom work hours. In this study, we established basic course of courseware design for applying ICT to physical education effectively in the 7th curriculum. We developed distance-learning program for motion of short-distance race and the entire his power race in middle school using Web. Flash and Database. And we evaluated efficiency by students that are 4 classrooms (140 persons) after teaching using the WBI. According to results of questions and a test, the students expressed that education using ICT make understanding of instruction substance effectively. concentrating their attention on teaching and concerning in teaching actively.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the structural relationships among goal orientation, teaching presence, approaches to leaning, satisfaction and academic achievement. For this study, the web survey was administered to 235 learners who participated in distance lifelong education centers of A, B, and C university in South Korea. Structural equation modeling (SEM) analysis was conducted in order to examine the causal relationships among the variables. The results indicated that first, mastery-approach goal and teaching presence had positive effects on deep approach. Second, mastery-approach goal showed negative effects on surface approach, while teaching presence did not. Third, deep approach had positive effects on satisfaction, Fourth, surface approach had negative effects on satisfaction. Fifth, deep approach showed positive effects. Last, surface approach showed negative effects on academic achievement. Based on the result of the research, the study propose the constructive foundation for providing strategies raising the satisfaction and academic achievement in distance life-long education.

Distance teaming systems have become popular tools for teaching and learning. The purpose of this study is to analyze influence of instructor factors and media richness on student's intention th use and performance in distance teaming. We used TAM as a theoretical foundation to explain student's behavior. The model was tested using LISREL analysis on the sample of 246 users rho have experience with the distance teaming systems. The results show that instructor factors such as luぉ style and attitude have partial effects on perceived usefulness, ease of use and media richness. In addition, results also show that both TAM variables and media richness strongly predict intention In use of the distance loaming system Finally, the usage intention has a positive effect on teaming performance. Implications of these findings are discussed for researchers and practitioners.

Many believe that electronic distance teaming education transform higher education, saving money and improving learning qualify So, the open University, which teaches around 280,000 students at a distance, is examining the adaption of its distance teaching methods for the internet. But, there are only one type of distance learning education of one way direction. To understand all of a student which selected some of e teaming course, teacher must check that how many student to understand and what is the difficult problems. Without checking this condition, It will be a very difficult and boring distance learning course. In this paper, we introduce of intelligent learning contents of full duplex direction that teach understanding student and not understanding student. The computer simulation results confirms that full duplex e learning system has been proven to be much more efficient than one way direction which not considering about understanding problems.

The main purpose of the study is to identify the key aspects of the use of innovative distance learning technologies in the training of biology students. Currently, there is a modernization, the evolution of the education system from a classical university to a virtual one, from lecture material teaching to computer educational programs, from a book library to a computer one, from multi-volume paper encyclopedias to modern search databases. During studies in higher education, distance learning ensures the delivery of information in an interactive mode through the use of information and communication technologies. The main disadvantage of distance learning is the emotional interaction of the teacher with students. It is necessary to increase the level of methodological developments for independent studies of students. The methodology includes a number of theoretical methods. One of the benefits of the internet-assisted instruction is that it can improve L2 Learners' motivation to express themselves in English. The purpose of this paper is to investigate an effective approach to British-American fiction learning in Korean universities, which can emphasize communicative strategies drawing on video-conferencing system, a chat system(CUSeeMe), and an e-mail system. Students are passive participants who cannot assert their creativity in the traditional teaching method of British-American fiction, which mainly relies upon reading and translation far from literature lessons. In CCDL(Cross-cultural distance learning) class, students can play active roles in asserting their own ideas and assuming considerable responsibility for making a presentation in English. A professor can play a role as a coordinator in supporting the students' activities and in winding up the class. The main significance of this article lies in providing a paradigm for CCDL class beyond the limitation of the traditional teaching method of British-American fiction in Korea and futhermore in exploring the eclectic integration of the traditional one and CCDL.

Even though the distance education via web has a great advantage to overcome time and space, its problem is that the management of trainees is not efficient compared with classroom and group education. This problem is a great obstacle to the objects and achievement standards of distance education, giving controversial arguments to the advocators of distance education. Distance educators need to monitor the trainees'participation and responses continuously and offer appropriate feedback to the trainees. However, the existing distance education system only focuses on teaching and learning activities, and as a result, the efficient management function of distance education is not available. Accordingly, the study attempts to find out the appropriate managing elements of distance teacher training in order to effectively achieve the goals of teacher training and the efficient management of distance education. Also, it proposes distance teacher training management system that offers appropriate feedback to trainees, applying the derived elements of distance teacher training to the training processes. To verify the efficiency of the system, hypotheses on related items of distance teacher education and learning types are suggested, and the achievement degree of learning and its relations are investigated through questionnaire of learning types. In addition, a system using UML which is the standard of object-oriented modeling language is devised, so. that mutual management, language independence and convenient development environment as well as reusability can be offered, and so the design standardization and efficient system realization could be achieved, while flexible change of system according to education process and computing environment is possible.
