먹이농도와 포식자의 밀도가 Daphnia의 분포유형에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of the Food Concentration and Predator Density to the Distributional Pattern of Daphnia)

  • The effects of food concentration (Chlorella vulgaris) and predator (Pseudorasbora parva) density on the distributional pattern of Daphnia pulex was evaluated in observation chambers. It was found that in the chamber with higher food concentration, Daphnia began to aggregate and formed tighter swarms. The close distance between each individual and distance from the center of swarm were observed in higher food conditions however, this distributional pattern was not seen in the chamber without food. Thus it suggests that the food is necessary for the swarming behavior of Boptnia in natural habitat. The swarming developed regardless of predator existence and the predator density did not affect swarming pattern of Daphnia.

특급호텔 종사원의 인구통계적 특성에 따른 인맥지수에 대한 탐색적 고찰 (A Study on the Network Quotient of Employees in Deluxe Hotel according to Demographic Characteristics)

  • This study considered network quotient (NQ) of deluxe hotel employees and schematized characteristic attributes of being selected by employees with image through correspondence analysis in terms of cognition degree. Self-administrated questionnaires were completed by employees (292 samples) and data were analysed by frequency, t-test, one-way ANOVA, reliability and correspondence analysis. First, the hotel employees indicated the high average value in "participating in special education or seminar for improving ability ($3.85{\pm}0.76$). Second, as a result of analyzing difference according to gender, the average value in men was higher than in women. It was indicated that the higher age and career lead to a rise even in the average value of relationship index. Third, in consequence of carrying out correspondence analysis in order to prepare image map according to cognition level on relationship index in hotel employees, the measurement item that is placed in the closest distance to the response as saying of not so very was the response as saying of "having a lunch (dinner) engagement twice or three times a week." On the other hand, the response as saying of "tending to have many acquaintances compared to coworkers" was schematized in the close distance to the response as saying of very so.

  • The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic made it necessary for medical schools to restructure their curriculum by switching from face-to-face instruction to various forms of flexible learning. Flexible learning is a student-centered approach to learning that has received interest in many educational sectors. It is a critical strategy for expanding access to higher education during the pandemic. As flexible learning includes online, blended, hybrid, and hyflex learning options, learners have the opportunity to select an instruction modality based on their needs and interests. The shift to flexible learning in medical education took place rapidly in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, and learners, instructors, and schools were not prepared for this instructional change. Through the lens of the technology acceptance model, human agency, and a social constructivist perspective, I examine students, instructors, and educational institutions' roles in successfully navigating the digital transformation era. The pandemic has also accelerated the use of advanced information and communication technologies, such as artificial intelligence and virtual reality, in learning. Through a review of the literature, this paper aimed to reflect on current flexible learning practices from the instructional design and educational technology perspective and explore emerging technologies that may be implemented in future medical education.

주거환경이 학업성적에 미치는 영향 - 중학생을 중심으로 - (A Study on the Effect of the Residential Environment on the Scholastic Attainment - A Case of Middle School Students -)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of the residential environment on the scholastic attainment of middle school students and present the direction of better residential environment for mental faculties. A questionnaire was distributed to 537 middle school students and SAS Package was used. The results of this study were as follows.1. The scholastic attainment was significantly good when the number of family was four and it improved as the level of parents` occupation, parents` school career and household income got higher.2. As the distance to the facilities from the house got nearer, the level of arrangement in the house got higher, the degree of concern of parents on the education got higher and the scale of the house got lager, the scholatic attainment of middle school students become better significantly.3. The residential environment had an Independent effect on the scholastic attainment of middle school students.

Gesture Recognition Using Higher Correlation Feature Information and PCA

  • This paper describes the algorithm that lowers the dimension, maintains the gesture recognition and significantly reduces the eigenspace configuration time by combining the higher correlation feature information and Principle Component Analysis. Since the suggested method doesn't require a lot of computation than the method using existing geometric information or stereo image, the fact that it is very suitable for building the real-time system has been proved through the experiment. In addition, since the existing point to point method which is a simple distance calculation has many errors, in this paper to improve recognition rate the recognition error could be reduced by using several successive input images as a unit of recognition with K-Nearest Neighbor which is the improved Class to Class method.

온라인 멘토링이 초등학생의 자기주도학습 능력과 정서적 안정감에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Online Mentoring on the Self-directed Learning Skills and Emotional Stability of Elementary School Students)

  • 한국교육방송공사에서 초등학생을 대상으로 4주간 실시한 학습 멘토링의 교육적 효과를 분석하기 위해, 학습 멘토링에 참여한 27명의 학생을 대상으로 자기주도적 학습능력과 정서적 안정감의 변화를 사전사후 검사를 통해 분석하였다. 그 결과, 학생들의 자기주도적 학습능력과 정서적 안정감이 모두 향상된 것으로 파악되었다. 또한, 학생들은 학습을 지도해준 멘토에 대한 만족도가 높게 나타났다. 따라서 원격 수업 상황에서 소외계층 학생들의 학습 격차를 줄이려면, EBS 학습 멘토링 사업을 지속적으로 추진하고, 멘토링 기간과 멘토링에 참여하는 학생과 교사의 수도 크게 증가시켜야 한다.

초등학교 '물체의 속력' 단원 수업에서 교사와 학생이 느끼는 교수.학습곤란도 분석 (Analysis on the Degree of Difficulty in Teaching and Learning the 'Speed of Objects' Chapter)

  • The first purpose of this study is to distinguish difficult chapters in 'Speed of objects' chapter and find the factors which give difficulty to the teachers and students. Also, it attempts to compare the students' assessment scores with the degree of difficulty in teaching and also with the degree of difficulty in learning. This report is expected to help science teachers develop their PCK(Pedagogical Content Knowledge) for teaching the chapter professionally. 15 teachers who had taught the 'Speed of Objects' chapter and their 386 students took part in the survey to acquire information about the difficulties in teaching and learning. 386 students also received a test to examine their understandings of the chapter. The results of this study are as follow; First, the degree of teachers' and students' difficulty is only affected by the contents, and the degree of onerousness felt by teachers is higher than that of students. Second, The topics caused higher difficulty to teachers were 'Understanding the meaning of motion(2nd lesson)', 'Understanding the meaning and unit of speed(5th lesson)', 'Changing unit of speed(6th lesson)', 'Drawing a distance-time graph(7th lesson)', and 'Understanding the relative motion(10th). The topics that led higher difficulty to students were the contents of 5th, 6th, and 7th lessons. Third, the 'Speed of Objects' chapter can be divided into 4 types of difficulty according to the degree of teaching and learning; 'Strong difficulty', 'Learning difficulty', 'Weak difficulty', and 'Teaching difficulty'. Last, students showed low achievement to the tasks that were related with 'Strong difficulty' and 'Teaching difficulty'.

PostCOVID-19 시대 유아교육을 위한 HyFlex 수업모형의 적용 가능성 탐색 (A Study on an Application of HyFlex Learning Model for Early Childhood Education in the PostCOVID-19 era)

  • 이 연구는 Post COVID-19 시대 유아교육의 새로운 형태로써 하이플렉스 수업 모형의 적용 가능성을 탐색해보는 것을 목적으로 한다. 연구목적을 달성하기 위해 문헌조사를 실시하였으며, 연구 절차로는 1) 현재 국내 유아교육의 당면과제 및 국내 원격교육의 운영형태를 살펴본 후, 2) 하이플렉스 수업 모형의 개요와 특징, 해외 기관의 적용 사례, 특히 해외 유아교육기관에서 하이플렉스 모형을 적용한 사례를 검토해봄으로써 3) 국내 유아교육 현장에서 하이플렉스 수업 모형을 적용하고자 할 때 고려해야 할 사항을 도출하였다. 연구결과, 온라인과 오프라인, 실시간과 비실시간을 혼합하여 사용하는 모형인 하이플렉스 수업 모형은 학습자의 선택권과 주도성, 활동성을 강조하는 모형으로 고등교육뿐만 아니라 유아교육에서도 활용 가능한 것으로 조사되었다. 국내 유아교육 현장에 하이플렉스 수업 모형을 적용하기 위해서는 첫째, 물리적 환경의 구성, 둘째, 보조교사, 기술지원자 등 보조인력의 활용, 셋째, 교수법 적용을 위한 주체별(교사, 교육기관, 유아 보호자) 교육 및 공동체 운영이 고려되어야 함을 제안하였다. 마지막으로 연구의 의의 및 향후 연구를 제시하였다.

  • Innovation is considered as an implemented innovation in education - in the content, methods, techniques and forms of educational activity and personality education (methods, technologies), in the content and forms of organizing the management of the educational system, as well as in the organizational structure of educational institutions, in the means of training and education and in approaches to social services in education, distance and multimedia learning, which significantly increases the quality, efficiency and effectiveness of the educational process. The classification of currently known pedagogical technologies that are most often used in practice is shown. The basis of the innovative activity of a modern teacher is the formation of an innovative program-methodical complex in the discipline. Along with programmatic and content provision of disciplines, the use of informational tools and their didactic properties comes first. It combines technical capabilities - computer and video technology with live communication between the lecturer and the audience. In pedagogical innovation, the principles reflecting specific laws and regularities of the implementation of innovative processes are singled out. All principles are elements of a complex system of organization and management of innovative activities in the field of education and training. They closely interact with each other, which enhances the effect of each of them due to the synergistic effect. To improve innovative activities in the training of students, today computer technologies are widely used in pedagogy as a science, as well as directly in the practice of the pedagogical process. They have gained the most popularity in such activities as distance learning, online learning, assistance in the education management system, development of programs and virtual textbooks in various subjects, searching for information on the network for the educational process, computer testing of students' knowledge, creation of electronic libraries, formation of a unified scientific electronic environment, publication of virtual magazines and newspapers on pedagogical topics, teleconferences, expansion of international cooperation in the field of Internet education. The article considers computer technologies as the main building material for the entire society. In the modern world, there is a need to prepare a person for life in a multimedia environment. This process should be started as early as possible, because the child's contact with the media is present almost from the moment of his birth.

개선된 Levenshtein Distance 알고리즘을 사용한 어휘 탐색 시스템 (Vocabulary Retrieve System using Improve Levenshtein Distance algorithm)

  • 기존의 Levenshtein distance 알고리즘은 어휘들 간의 순서가 정해져 있지 않은 경우에 사용되므로 어휘 탐색 작업의 중요도를 구분할 수 없는 단점을 가진다. 본 연구에서 제안하는 개선된 Levenshtein 방법에서는 효율적으로 사용빈도에 따라 어휘들을 탐색하고, 어휘들 간의 순서를 가지는 가중치를 부여한다. 따라서 어휘의 수가 증가하는 경우에도 효율적으로 사용빈도에 따라 어휘를 탐색하여 인식율이 저하되는 단점을 해결하고, 인식 시간을 향상 및 탐색 공간의 효율적으로 관리할 수 있는 장점을 가진다. 제안한 시스템을 분석한 결과 실내 환경에서 어휘 종속 인식률은 97.81%, 어휘 독립 인식률은 96.91%의 인식률을 나타났다. 또한, 실외 환경에서 어휘 종속 인식률은 91.11%, 어휘 독립 인식률은 90.01%의 인식률을 나타났다.
