An accurate digital distance relaying algorithm which is immune to the combined reactance effect of the fault resistance and the load current is proposed. The algorithm can estimate adaptively the impedance to a fault point independent of the fault resistance. To compensate the apparent impedance, this algorithm uses iteratively the angle of an impedance deviation vector improved step by step. The impedance correction algorithm for ground faults uses a current distribution factor to compensate mutual coupling effect.
The system for optical tolerances of completion spectacles was made to sum of the accumulated error - the circumstances on composing prescription, the visual-distance, the tilting angle, the losing of a temple, the vertex distance, the axis of toric lens and the sloping of lens etc. It was given by the relation of allowed values size(T) and power(D), $T=T_0e^{-aD}$. Here, $T_0$ is the size of allowed values of plane-lens with power is 0 and ${\alpha}$ is the factor of allowed values. In case of being adopted to new form s tolerance corresponding to RAL 915, for the tolerance is large direction, the factor of allowed values ${\alpha}$ is $0.166(T_0=5.90)$ and for the tolerance is small direction, the factor of allowed values ${\alpha}$ is $0.166(T_0=2.95)$.
Transport of Escherichia coli ATCC 11105 through porous media was investigated in this study using two sets of column experiments to quantify the attachment-related parameters (sticking efficiency, attachment rate coefficient and filter factor). The first set of experiments was performed in quartz sand under different ionic strength conditions (1, 20, 100, 200 mM) while the second experiments were carried out in quartz sand mixed with metal oxyhydroxide-coated sand (0, 5, 10, 25%). The breakthrough curves of bacteria were obtained by monitoring effluent, and then bacterial mass recovery and attachment-related parameters were quantified from these curves. The first experiments showed that the mass recoveries were in the range of 13.3 to 64.7%, decreasing with increasing ionic strength. In the second experiments, the mass recoveries were in the range of 15.0 to 43.4%, decreasing with increasing coated sand content. The analysis indicated that the sticking efficiency, attachment rate coefficient and filter factor increased with increasing ionic strength and coated sand content. The value of filter factor in the first experiments ranged from 1.45 e-2 to 6.72 e-2 1/cm while in the second experiments it ranged from 2.78 e-2 to 6.32 e-2 1/cm. Our filter factor values are one order of magnitude lower than those from other studies. This discrepancy can be attributed to the size of sand used in the experiment. The analysis demonstrated that the travel distance of bacteria estimated using the filter factor can be varied greatly depending on the solution chemistry and charge heterogeneity of porous media.

The aim of this study is to analysis factors that determine the competitiveness of container ports using the KJ and AHP methods. For this, 54 detailed attributing factors were identified both by previous studies and port users. 24 attributing factors were identified by a group of port experts. also, These were grouped 18 detailed attributing factors into 6 attributing factors by a group of port experts using the KJ method. These were made into a model of hierarchical structure with 3 levels, taking 1 goal factor, 6 evaluation factors and 18 detailed evaluation factors. The collected date of questionnaires were analyzed by a group of port experts using the AHP method. The analysis result of the evaluation factors in container port shows that port cargo volume is the most important factor, followed by port location, port cost, port service, port facility and port management. The analysis results of detailed evaluation factors in container port shows that import and export cargo volume is the most important factor, followed by transshipment cargo volume, distance from main trunk, cargo handling cost, distance from the point of importing and exporting, speediness of cargo handling, stability of cargo handling, vessel/cargo cost in port entry and leaving, punctuality in port entry and leaving, number and length of berth, collateral service cost, terminal area, hinterland accessibility, ability of terminal operation company, front depth of berth, etc.
The use of electronic devices such as mobile phones and tablet PCs has increased of late. However, the power which is supplied through wires has a limitation of the free use of devices and portability. Magnetic-resonance wireless power transfer (WPT) can achieve increased transfer distance and efficiency compared to the existing electromagnetic inductive coupling. A superconducting coil can be applied to increase the efficiency and distance of magnetic-resonance WPT. As superconducting coils have lower resistance than copper coils, they can increase the quality factor (Q-factor) and can overcome the limitations of magnetic-resonance WPT. In this study, copper coils were made from ordinary copper under the same condition as the superconducting coils for a comparison experiment. Superconducting coils use liquid nitrogen to keep the critical temperature. As there is a difference of medium between liquid nitrogen and air, liquid nitrogen was also used in the normal conductor coil to compare the experiment with under the same condition. It was confirmed that superconducting coils have a lower reflection-coefficient($S_{11}$) than the normal conductor coils.
In this study, the fire extinguishing experiment was performed using a water mist nozzle with variation of factors which affect on the extinguishing time. The variables were distance from nozzle center to fire location, droplet size, height of nozzle and opening or not. With the experimental data, interaction and sensitivity between factors were analysed with Mini tab and deduce a optimum model of fire extinguishing of water mist system. Based on the experiment and modeling of fire extinguishing with water mist system, the most important factor on extinguishing time is the distance from the center of nozzle to fire and the opening effect was small compare with other factors.
The purposes of this study were, 1) to investigate the causal relationship between customer's life-style and motivation of eating-out, and 2) to research the causal nexus between motivation of eating-out and satisfaction of attributes to choose the restaurant. Reliability analysis, factor analysis, and Structure Equation Model(SEM) were adapted by Windows SPSS 10.0 and Amos 4.0. Life-style was divided into 7 factors and eating-out motivation into 5. Life-style influenced significantly each motivation of eating-out. It had positive influence on 'Reception and congratulation', 'Change of dietary life', 'Economic saving', "'Preference motivation', and 'Advertisement and companion's need', but negative influence on 'Reception and congratulation', 'Change of dietary life', and 'Preference motivation'. Customer's motivation of eating-out also influenced significantly the attributes. Factorl 'Reception and congratulation' had positive influence on all attributes except for 'Transportation convenience and distance to the shop'. Factor 2 'Change of dietary life' had negative influence on 'Food's taste, quantity, price', 'Sanitation and cleanness', and 'Staff's service quality' Factor 3 "Economic saving' had positive influence on 'Food's taste, quantity, price' and 'Transportation convenience and distance to the shop'. factors 'Advertisement and companion's need' had positive influence on 'Atmosphere of restaurant' and negative influence on 'Food's taste, quantity, price'.
The purpose of this study was conducted to develop adult distance literacy education program and verify its effects. The program was developed through the examination on factors affecting online literacy education and necessary analysis and feedback. Pre- and post-tests analyzing the effects of distance literacy education measuring academic understanding factor, learner satisfaction and satisfactory levels on the academic were administered to 49 adult literacy learners before and after a distance literacy education course. Also, this paper try to explore learners who participated in distance literacy education experience, change and that meaning. The results of the content analysis on the program are summarized as follows. First, there were statistically significant differences regarding academic understanding factor, learner satisfaction and perceived learning outcome satisfaction variables since distance literacy education program which is based on ARCS model start. In addition, learners were satisfied with replaying the learning videos several times, and the improved ability to use smart devices. But they expressed regrets about not being able to go to school and the difficulty of using the devices. It means that distance literacy education based on the ARCS model draw a positive learning conclusion. On the basis of these results, suggestions for further research were discussed.

This study intended to test the structure of the latent factor of a subjective happiness scale and the stability of invariance across groups of students' classifications (gender and students' status). In the large, non-clinical sample (619), students completed the subjective happiness scale. The (CFA) confirmatory factor analysis was used to investigate the factor-structure of the measure, and multiple-group confirmatory factor analysis (MGCFA) model was used to test the stability of invariance across groups of students classifications. The findings of the CFA indicated support for the original one-factor model. Additional analyses of the MGCFA method support the measurement (configural, metric and strong) invariant and practical invariant components of this model. There was an invariant across gender. There was partially invariant across groups of students' statuses. The scale exists in both groups to assess the same concepts of (single and married), excluding Items 3 and 4. Given that this study is the first investigation for the structure of the subjective happiness scale.
