The purposes of this study were to examine the conceptual structure of shopping value, evaluative criteria of golf wear and store choice behavior, and to investigate the effect of shopping value and evaluative criteria of golf wear on store choice behavior. Data were obtained from 415 men and women aged 20-60 who had purchased golf wears living in Busan. The results of the study were as follows: Shopping value were composed of Hedonic shopping value and Utilitarian shopping value, and evaluative criteria of golf wear were consisted of Size/design.quality, Fitness/appropriateness of use, and Fashionability/brand. Stores choice behavior were composed of Atmosphere/salesperson, Diversity of product/service, Display/assortment, and convenience of location. Hedonic consumers tended to consider the price and display/assortment when they chose golf wear stores, and they were more likely to consider display/assortment mediated by fashionability/brand. But utilitarian consumers perceived less important diversity of product/service when they chose golf wear stores. Consumers who chose golf wear depending on fittness/design and quality patronaged stores offering diverse product/service.
A SMT mounter is a kind of equipment that mounts SMD parts quickly on the printed circuit board. By using linear motors, it is controlled with high speed and precision, which is similar to semi-conductor and display process equipment. It is necessarily used in an assembly process of an electronic device. Mobile devices such as a mobile phone and PDA are required to reduce mount areas due to the demands for high performance and small size. Hence, super small sized and complex mobile devices have been developed. To improve the productivity of the corresponding equipment, designs with large sized, high speed, and multidisciplinary functions have been consistently performed. Meanwhile, a design trend of large size and light-weight on SMT mounter causes a low natural frequency of systems and vibration problems at the high speed operation. In this paper, the dynamic characteristics of the SMD mounter system were investigated through a modal test and transmissibility test, and verified by finite element method. Also, various design improvement was performed to avoid the resonance phenomena.
Purpose - The objective of the paper is to examine display techniques and tools at traditional clothing stores to improve the traditional market. Since most research has been done theoretical and model based approaches, changing business environments requires more holistic and detailed facts to apply or develop a retail business strategy. Research design / data / methodology - The study employs qualitative research such as direct observation as well as direct interview and telephone interview from May 7 to Jun 2, 2012. The paper examines lighting, various display techniques and tools. The analysis of 80 store pictures for them had been done three examiners with agreement. Results - Sample garments are displayed on the walls; the racks of hangers are attached on the upper part of the walls; there is indirect lighting only. Furthermore, the merchandises are displayed, without any consistency, on various sizes and shapes of hangers, only on the owners' arbitrariness. When considering that the Korean traditional fabrics (Juddan) have a little pattern and colors as their important elements for displaying. Conclusions - The findings of this study show that the retailers in the traditional market need to have lessons on colors and to learn how to use the specific lighting and to display merchandise.

A Head-Up-Display is an avionic equipment to identify targets and flight data at same time the pilot looks over the external environment outside canopy. The HUD displays various symbols to depend on avionic mode which is composed of navigation mode, air-to-air mode, air-to-ground mode. In air-to-air mode, HUD should provide the intuitive symbols for pilot to aim the target exactly in a short time. In this paper, we propose a design method to improve the visibility of the HUD Symbols.
Over the years, plasma display panel (PDP) manufacturers have impressed the flat panel display industry with yet another new product essentially having the merits of a larger screen size. Since larger size implies higher power ratings, voltage/current ratings of the power devices used have become a rising concern. Another important concern is the brightness of PDP, one way of increasing which is by operating the PDP at higher frequencies. In order to address the above issues, a transformer coupled sustain-driver for AC-PDP is proposed During the transition time, the two windings of the transformer greatly boost up the displacement current flowing through the panel capacitance and hence enable a fast inversion of the voltage polarity with practical values of resonant inductance. In the proposed topology, the resonant inductance can be increased by a factor of $(n+1)^2$ as compared to prior approaches. Increased inductance results in lower current stresses. Moreover, high frequency operation is possible by using higher value of n (turn ratio of the transformer). The operational principle and design procedure of the proposed circuit are presented with theoretical analysis. The validity of the proposed sustain driver is established through simulation and experimental results using a 42-in PDP

This paper presents the design and implementation of virtual aquarium by generating 3D models of fishes that are colored by viewers in an aim to create interaction among viewers and aquarium. The virtual aquarium system is composed of multiple texture extraction modules, a single interface module and a single display module. The texture extraction module recognize the QR code on the canvas to get information of the predefined mapping table and then extract the texture data for the corresponding 3D model. The scanned image is segmented and warp transformed onto the texture image by using the mapping information. The extracted texture is transferred to the interface module to save on the server computer and the interface module sends the fish code and texture information to the display module. The display module generates a fish on the virtual aquarium by using predefined 3D model with the transmitted texture. The fishes on the virtual aquarium have three different swimming methods: self-swimming, autonomous swimming, and leader-following swimming. The three different swimming methods are discussed in this paper. The future study will be the implementation of virtual aquarium based on storytelling to further increase interactions with the viewer.

In this study, we propose how th implement a MDDI(Mobile Display Digital Interface) protocol packet generation method in software. MDDI protocol is widely used in mobile display device. MDDI protocol packets are generated by software within micro processor. This method needs the minimum hardware configuration. In order to implementation of this method, we design a hardware platform with a high performance microprocessor and a FPGA. The packets generated by software within microprocessor are converted into LVDS signals, and transmitted by hardware within FPGA. This study suggests the benefits of the way how software can easily create a variety of packet. But, this proposed method takes more time in packet transmission compared to the traditional method. This weakness remains as a future challenge, which can be soon improved.

Eye Glass Display (EGD) with microdisplay to realize the virtual display can make the large screen, so virtual image has been developed by using microdisplay panel. This paper shows study of spherical prism lens design and manufacture of a small size and light weigh EGD with 0.59" OLED panel. Code V is used and it designed an aspherical prism lens about eye relief 25mm and 42 degree of filed of view (FOV). With the application this aspheric prism lens to OLED type's microdisplay, virtual image showed 60 inch at 2m. It had less than 2% of distortion value and modulation transfer function in axial had 30% of resolution with 32 lp/mm spatial frequency. We made an injection molding bases to lens designed.

In this paper, in order to achieve slim and light liquid crystal display, we examine the optical conditions that can obtain uniform light with higher optical efficiency over whole light guide plate (LGP) through simulation. Furthermore, to overcome the issues of hot spot in front of red, green, and blue light emitting diodes (RGB LEDs) source and non-uniform color mixing, we propose four shaped color mixing bars tied up with the LGP and check the optical characteristics of the LGP with them by simulation. Consequently, we could know the optical conditions of improving optical efficiency and optical uniformity in the LGP through the optical design. Also we confirmed that the issues of the hot spot and non-uniform color mixing in edge type LED could be solved by using the ${\bigwedge}$-shaped window color mixing bar.
We have developed a simple model of a bright-room contrast ratio (BRCR) measurement system for plasma display panels (PDPs) adopting a contrast enhancement film (CEF) by using an illumination design tool. Only four model parameters were used, namely, total ambient illumination power delivered by fluorescent lamps, a panel scattering rate, illuminance of PDP white patterns, and the absorption coefficient of a color adjusting film. These parameters were determined by simple optical measurements and matching simulations. The proposed model was employed to predict the BRCR values of four different CEF samples, and the simulated ones were found to be in agreement with measured ones within about 10% relative-error.
