이산 제조 공정에서의 수율 향상을 위한 분석 프레임워크의 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on analysis framework development for yield improvement in discrete manufacturing)

  • Purpose It is a major goal to improve the product yields during production operations in the manufacturing industry. Therefore, factory is trying to keep the good quality materials and proper production resources, also find the proper condition of facilities and manufacturing environment for yields improvement. Design/methodology/approach We propose the hybrid framework to analyze to dataset extracted from MES. Those data is about the alarm information generated from equipment, both measurement and equipment process value from production and cycle/pitch time measured from production data these covered products during production. We adapt a data warehousing techniques for organizing dataset, a logistic regression for finding out the significant factors, and a association analysis for drawing the rules which affect the product yields. And then we validate the framework by applying the real data generated from the discrete process in secondary cell battery manufacturing. Findings This paper deals with challenges to apply the full potential of modeling and simulation within CPPS(Cyber-Physical Production System) and Smart Factory implementation. The framework is being applied in one of the most advanced and complex industrial sectors like semiconductor, display, and automotive industry.

유도전동기용 이상 PI형 속도제어기의 구성 (The Implementation of a Discrete PI Speed Controller for an Induction Motor)

  • In this paper, non-linear state equations for a 3-phase, 220V, 0.4 KW, squirrel cage induction motor have been derived using the d-q transformation and then these equations have been linearized around an operating point by a small perturbation method. Root loci on the s-plane with repect to the changes of slip S and supply frequency f have been studied. Based on the above results, the derived linear state equations have been augmented to the 6th order, including the output velocity feedback and a discrete PI speed controller. Using the new state equations, stability regions on the Kp-Kl plane have been investigated for slip S and sampling time T. In designing a discrete PI controller, the coefficients Kp and Kl around the normal operating point (220V,1,692rpm,60Hz)have been chosen under the assumptions that each response to a perturbation input of reference speed and load torque be underdamped and dominated by a pair of complex poles. Step responses in the experimental system using an Intel SDK-86 and an optimized PWM inverter show satisfactory results that the maximum overshoots and damped frequency are well coincided with ones from the computer simulation.

입자 패킹 공정에 대한 접촉모델별 이산요소법 해석 (Analysis of Particle Packing Process by Contact Model in Discrete Element Method)

  • In many industries, particle packing is adopted quite frequently. In the particle packing process, the Discrete Element Method (DEM) can analyze the multi-collision of particles efficiently. Two types of contact models are frequently used for the DEM. One is the linear spring model, which has the fastest calculation time, and the other is the Hertz-Mindlin model, which is the most frequently used contact model employing the DEM. Meanwhile, very tiny particles in the micrometer order are used in modern industries. In the micro length order, surface force is important to decreased particle size. To consider the effect of surface force in this study, we performed a simulation with the Hertz-Mindlin model and added the Johnson-Kendall-Roberts (JKR) theory depicting surface force with surface energy. In addition, three contact models were compared with several parameters. As a result, it was found that the JKR model has larger residual stress than the general contact models because of the pull-off force. We also validated that surface force can influence particle behavior if the particles are small.

런너밸런스 알고리즘을 이용한 멀티캐비티 최적성형에 관한 연구 (A Study on The Optimum Design of Multi-Cavity Molding Parts Using The Runner Balance Algorithm)

  • The objective of this paper is to present a methodology for automatically balancing multi-cavity injection molds with the aid of flow simulation. After the runner and cavity layout has been designed, the methodology adjusts runner and gate sizes iteratively based on the outputs of flow analysis. This methodology also ensures that the runner sizes in the final design are machinable. To illustrate this methodology, an example is used wherein a 3-cavity mold is modeled and filling of all the cavities at the same time is achieved. Based on the proposed methodology, a multicavity mold with identical cavities is balanced to minimize overall unfilled volume among various cavities at discrete time steps of the molding cycle. The example indicates that the described methodology can be used effectively to balance runner systems for multi-cavity molds.

  • This paper discusses tracking position control of linear actuator that has a time delay. The time delay happens when the process reads the sensor data and sends the control input to the plant located at a remote site in distributed control system. In this thesis, the time delay between the linear actuator and the discrete PID controller has constant value due to buffer device so the time delay can be modeled by Pade approximation but the large position error of the linear actuator is generated by the time delay. Therefore, the Smith predictor is used for tracking position control of the linear actuator with the time delay in order to minimize the effect of the time delay.   • A social phenomenon that occurs in a physical space is said to be a complex system. However, space syntax, which is commonly employed by researchers to identify such social phenomena, has various limitations in interpreting their complexity. On the other hand, agent-based modeling considers a variety of factors including the personality of the agent, objective-oriented work flows, estimation according to time flows and better prediction of space use through diverse parameters depending the situation, as well as the characteristics of the space. The agent-based method thus has the potentials to be developed as an alternative to space syntax techniques. In particular, discrete event driven simulation(DEVS), which is part of the agent-based modeling method, embraces the concept of networks just like space syntax, which allows a possible theoretical linkage in the future. This study suggests a procedural model of agent-based DEVS reflecting two different connection methods, i.e. connections between adjacent areas and those of the entire space, and attempts to identify the relationship between the local and regional indices of space syntax. A number of spaces were selected as examples-one for a preliminary experiment and eight modified for the main experiment-and space syntax and DEVS were applied to each of them. The comparative analysis of the results led to the conclusions as follows: 1) Adjacent connections were closely related to local indices, while the whole-space approach to regional indices. Local integration shows both characteristics. 2) Observation of the time flow model indicated a faster convergence with the range of 1 to 3-fold of the total time of one lap, with the error of less than 10%. 3) The heat map analysis showed more obvious characteristics of using the space for the entire space rather than adjacent connections. 4) Space syntax shows higher eligibility than ABM.

이산코사인변환을 기반으로 한 포트맨토 검정 (A Portmanteau Test Based on the Discrete Cosine Transform)

  • 이 논문에서는 이산코사인변환에 의해 유도된 주파수 공간상에서의 포트맨토검정법을 소개한다. 정상시계열의 경우 이산코사인변환 계수는 점근적으로 독립이고 분산은 자기공분산의 선형결합으로 표시된다. 백색잡음에 대한 이산코사인변환 계수의 공분산 행렬은 모든 대각원소가 시계열의 분산인 대각행렬이다. 시계열의 독립성을 검정하기 위해 계수들을 주파수 영역에 따라 2 또는 3개의 그룹으로 분할하고 그룹간의 분산을 비교하여 자료가 백색잡음인지 아닌지를 검정한다. 또한 계수의 제곱값이 반응변수이고 주파수 대역이 설명변수인 회귀모형에서 기울기를 검정하여 백색잡음 여부를 알아본다. 모의실험 결과를 보면 제안한 검정방법이 대부분의 경우 Ljung-Box 검정보다 높은 검정력을 가지는 것으로 나타났다.

샘플러 기반의 수신기를 위한 재구성 가능한 이산시간 공간상 이동평균 필터 (A Reconfigurable Spatial Moving Average Filter in Sampler-Based Discrete-Time Receiver)

  • 재구성 가능한 널 주파수를 가진 데시메이션이 없는 2차 공간상 이동평균 필터를 제안한다. 이 필터의 계수는 샘플링 커패시터를 스위칭 함으로써 가변할 수 있다. 유연한 널 주파수를 이용하여 간섭파를 효율적으로 제거할 수 있다. 데시메이션을 하지 않으므로 샘플링 주파수가 감소하면서 발생하는 에일리어싱 문제를 피할 수 있다. 이 필터는 1에서 2까지 변하는 ${\alpha}$를 이용 하여 $1:{\alpha}:1$의 가변하는 가중치를 가지도록 설계되었다. 이것은 두 널 주파수가 fs/3~fs/2와 fs/2~ 2fs/3 범위에서 변화하는 것을 의미한다. 제안된 필터는 TSMC 0.18-${\mu}m$ CMOS 공정에서 구현되었다. 시뮬레이션을 통해 두 널 주파수가 0.38~0.49fs와 0.51~0.62fs의 범위 내에서 변화하는 결과를 얻었다.

분산 시뮬레이션을 위한 DEVS 특성 기반 시뮬레이션 모델 분배 방법 (Algorithm for Partitioning the Simulation Models Based on DEVS-features for Distributed Simulation Environment)

  • 시뮬레이션 방법론에 있어서 모델기반 시뮬레이션과 프로세스기반 시뮬레이션으로 나눌 수 있는데, 재사용성, 확장성, 시뮬레이터 기술 용이성 등의 장점으로 모델기반 시뮬레이션이 많이 사용되고 있다. 이러한 이유로 근래에는 컴퓨터 시스템, 항공, 자동차 등에서 모델 기반 시뮬레이션 방법이 사용되고 있다. 모델기반 시뮬레이션 방법으로 수학적 이론을 기반으로 모델을 정의하는 DEVS(Discrete Event System Specification) 형식론은 계층적이고 모듈화 된 형태로 이산사건 시스템을 기술한다. 대규모의 복잡한 시뮬레이션 모델을 검증 할 목적으로 분산 시뮬레이션 방법론이 있는데, 이들은 크게 동기적인 방법과 비동기적인 방법이 있다. 동기적 방식보다 빠른 수행을 위해 비동기적 방법은 전체 Time-order 순이 아닌 로컬 Time-order를 가진다. 그러나 비동기적 방식에는 분산된 시뮬레이터들 간의 전체 Time-order를 유지하기 위해 전 처리된 시뮬레이터 결과들을 저장하는데, Time-order 상으로 현재의 시뮬레이션 시간보다 과거의 사건이 왔을 때 그 이벤트를 처리해주어야 되기 때문이다. 이러한 비동기적 분산 시뮬레이션 방법론에서는 전체 Time-order를 유지하기 위해 과거의 Time-order를 가지는 이벤트가 왔을 때 rollback operation을 수행한다. 그러나 rollback operation은 분산 시뮬레이션 방법론에서 성능 장애요소 중 하나이다. 본 논문에서는 rollback operation을 최소할 할 수 있는 DEVS 모델 분배 방법을 제안한다.

Agent-based Lift-car Group Operation Optimization Model in High-rise Building Construction

  • To hoist construction workers to their working space is directly related to the productivity of building construction since hoisting tasks are carried out during the working time. In order to reduce hoisting time in the condition that the number of construction lift-cars is limited, various types of the lift-cars group operation plans such as zoning and sky-lobby have been applied. However, previous researches on them cannot be compared in the performance due to their methodological limitation, discrete-event simulation methods, and cannot be find better solution to increase the performance. Therefore, this research proposed the simulation-based optimization model combining the agent-based simulation method to the scatter search optimization methods. Using the proposed model, this paper carried out the comparison analysis on the performance of typical operation plans and also optimize an operation plans by controlling the service range of lift-cars, the size and number of service zones. In this case study, it is verified that better alternatives than typical operation plans can be exists and it is possible to increase the productivity of building construction.
