Objectives: The purpose of this study was to identify drinking form and analyze affecting factors of emergency medical technology students. Methods: Data were collected by questionnaire and analyzed by using the SPSS WIN 18.0 and Multiple Linear Regression Analysis. Results: In factors of the monthly drinking frequency, start drinking(middle school), smoking, pocket money, education level of mother were statistically profitable(p<.05). In factors of the monthly drinking too much frequency, gender, education level of mother, start drinking(high school), economical level were statistically profitable(p<.05). In factors of subjective model of drinking, discord with parents, education level of mother, age were statistically profitable(p<0.05). Conclusion: Teacher and the authorities of school and government must know seriousness and importance of drinking and endeavor to solve the problem and prepare the political plan and solution.

Purpose: This concept analysis was done to clarify 'uncertainty in epilepsy'. Methods: Walker and Avant's methodology guided the analysis. In addition, the concept was compared with uncertainty in other health problems. Results: 'Uncertainty in epilepsy' was defined as being in the condition as seen from the epilepsy experience where cues were difficult to understand because they changed, were in discord with past ones, or they had two or more contradictory values at the same time. Uncertainty in epilepsy is evolved from appraisal of the epilepsy experience. As a result, uncertainty leads epilepsy patients, their family or health care providers to impaired functioning and proactive/passive coping behavior. Conclusion: Epilepsy patients with uncertainty need to be supported by nursing strategies for proactive, rational coping behavior. This achievement has implications for interventions aimed at changing perception of epilepsy patients, their families or health care providers who must deal with uncertainty.

In this paper, using DBNN algorithm which is used in the binary pattern classification or speech signal processing the digital DBNN circuit is designed having the variable expansion depending the size of input data and pattern type. The processing elemen(PE) of the proposed network consists of the synapse and MAXNET circuits for the similarity measurement between reference and input pattern. Global MAXNET selects the global winner among the local winners which is selected in each PE. Through the several simultions, and thus each PE and global MAXNET search the reference pattern that was the most simlar to input pattern for the discord of the pattern.

Clothes and human body are inseparably related. Aesthetic consciousness of the body determines the form of clothing, reflecting the time and culture as well as the individual and society. Clothes can even reorganize the meaning of the body, while transcending their instrumental functions of concealing, revealing, and deforming the body. Using �body�t o analyze the clothing form, my study develops a framework by which to classify the absence of physicality in fashion focusing on the deformation of the body parts. The absence of physicality denotes the break away from the idealized and standardized body for mass productions. It tends to experiment with extreme exaggeration in form refusing to subscribe to the traditional values that build on the balance and symmetry of the body, which opposes the sartorial convention and symbolism that results in the discord between signifiant and signifi? f clothing.

The magnetic levitation system is utilized in the magnetic bearing of high-speed rotor because of little friction, no lubrication, no noise and so on. The magnetic levitation system need the feedback controller for the stabilization of system, and gap sensors are generally used to measure the gap. The use of sensor easily goes into troublesome caused by sensor failure discord between the measurement point and the control point etc. This paper presents the design of robust stabilizing contoller by $H_{\infty}$ control theory using the sensorless method proposed by authors in the magnetic levitation system. And we investigated both the validity of the designed controller and the usefulness of the sensorless magnetic levitation system through results of actual experiment.

Aesthetics of ugliness enlarged aesthetic field and brought back the repressed, estranged things. Hair style is not an exception. So I intended to examine the contemporary(1995-2002) women's hair styles on the basis of Rosenkranz' concept of ugliness. The results are as follows: First, extrinsic aspect contains formlessness and disfiguration. Among characteristics of formlessness, discord means appearing on a stage with a hair style derailed from our common sense or an incomplete hair style. Asymmetry means hair decoration or hair dressing which violates the principles of design. Disharmony means excessiveness beyond the concept of accent. Disfiguration has characteristics of vulgarity, disgust and caricature, and means cruelty, grimness or ridiculousness instead of pleasing beauty. Second, intrinsic aspect has incorrectness. As minority ethnic groups, estranged classes, children and women which in the previous field of absolute aesthetics were never considered as beauty appeared as subject matters of hair styles, the repressed things returned and a new genre was created thereby enlarging true aesthetic field. Like this, 1 cloud confirm that aesthetics of ugliness organized today's characteristic, peculiar hair styles, and enlarged aesthetic field.

Recently, optical disc drives are required to have high density and capacity in according with development of high definition images and rapid increase of various informations. Consequently, the numerical aperture becomes larger, the wavelength of laser is coming to be short. However, it deteriorates rolling mode effect on an optical pickup actuator. Therefore, this paper proposes new design and optimization of tracking coils for reducing it. First, we verify that discord between the center of force and the center of mass by restrictions of design condition is an important factor of rolling mode effect. Then, in order to reduce it, we propose new design parameters of tracking coils. Finally, we reduce rolling mode effect through optimization of tracking coils using Taguchi method and response surface method.

In South Korea, some interethnic families result from prearranged marriages where 1 spouse is an immigrant. In this study, traits of children in families of interethnic immigrant marriages were studied by individual interviews of ten kindergarten teachers responsible for them and 8 observations of their preschool classes. Subjects were 21(13 male, 8 female) 3- to 5-year-old children. Results showed the diverse traits of these children : they adapted to the environment by changing and getting along, but some of them exhibited problematic behavior such as delayed language development, confused identity, and aggression. The attitude of their peers included passive reaction, discord and receptivity regarding their difference. The attitude of the teachers was a sense of responsibility and worry.

In recent years, behavioral disorders of young people and juvenile delinquency tend to increase remarkably in number, and closed up highly as a social and educational problems in Korea. It goes without saying that parents generally play important roles in children's development of personality, and the home is mostly responsible for juvenile delinquency. Therefore, first this paper describes a relation between broken family and juvenile delinquents. Burt, Shideler, Neumayer, and Glueck maintain that broken family is a cause of delinquency, on the other hand, Healy and Sutherland assume a critical attitude toward their contentions. Second, Breckinridge, Merril, and Glueck maintain that poor family is as cause of delinquency, while Sullenger, Neumayer, and Dirksen make a considerable point which poverty has no direct connection with delinquency. Third, abnormal family relationships namely, discord family, abnormal parent-child relationship, and immoral family exert a bad influence upon formation of personality, esepecialy during the period of preschool childhood. These results give some empirical support to the theory that children's conduct disorders and juvenile delinquency are caused by defective family relationships. It is necessary that a community has a supporting structure of children's wholesome development and the prevention of juvenile delinquency.

Thesedays, Home Economic in Korea is faced with the danger of a discord caused by the outer pressure of reorganization in the process educational reformation. The first purpose of this study was to examine the characteristics of the informatized society and the changes of families lived in the informatized society. The second was to assert to strengthen Home Economics in the informatized society. Ultimately we suggested an integrative and interdisciplinary model about Home Economics from the ecological and informative perspective. This model consist with three parts: Human development(Child studies, Gerontology, & Adolescent studies) and family studies division(Family relation studies, family resource management studies, & Consumer studies) Environmental division(Clothing and Textiles, Food and Nutrition, & Housing) and HEIS(Home Economics Information System). This classification is correspond with the one Human-Behavioral Environment and Human-Constructed Environment of Ecological theory.
