119구급대원의 재난관리 핵심역량에 관한 연구 (Core competency in disaster management of 119 paramedics)

  • Purpose: The purpose of the study was to investigate the core competency of disaster management of 119 paramedics. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire was completed by 242 paramedics in C area from April 28 to May 12, 2017. The study instrument included general characteristics of the subjects (4 items), disaster experience, recognition, and preparedness (20 items), and importance and performance of disaster management core competency (24 items) by Likert 5-point scale. Data were analyzed using t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient using IBM SPSS 24.0. Results: The seriousness of personal disaster was 4.02 points and the importance of disaster-related education was 4.28 points. The importance to core competency of disaster management was 4.39 points and the ability to perform core competency was 3.58 points. The seriousness of personal disaster and the importance of disaster-related education were positively correlated (r=.600, p=.000). The importance and ability to perform core competency were positively correlated (r=.389, p=.000). Conclusion: It is necessary to strengthen core competency of disaster management in paramedics who are the first defense line of disaster.

초등 사회 및 과학 교과서의 자연재해 내용 분석 (A Study of the Analysis about Natural Disaster in Elementary Society and Science Textbooks)

  • The purpose of this study was to analysis natural disasters which can be applied environmental education for elementary students. For this study, the elementary society and science textbooks were selected. The results of this study are as follows. the society textbooks contain 2 units of the natural disaster in the 4th and 5th grades. In the science textbooks, 5 units of the natural disaster were showed in 3rd, 5th and 6th grades. The learning quantities were 4 hours in society textbooks and 7 hours in science textbooks. In society textbooks, the contents relating meteorological disasters were dominance. But the science textbooks were showed both meteorological and geological disasters. In aims of learning, while the society textbooks were focused as damages, prevention, counter-plan and restoring plan of the natural disaster, the science textbooks were emphasized damages. the photos in society textbooks, meteorological disasters were superiority in number; especially the flood and heavy rain were 76%. In science textbooks, the photos about earthquake were prominent as 40%. For activating environmental education in elementary school based on these results, it can be suggested that the effects of natural damage as tsunami and global warming should add to elementary textbooks. And the elementary teachers need to understand contents and photos relating environment problem in the elementary textbooks.

재난재해 시 응급대피공간으로서 학교시설의 디자인 고려요소 -대피거점기능과 교육활동유지기능을 중심으로- (The School Design Factors as Emergency Shelter after Disaster - Focus on the Function for Evacuation Center and Education Maintenance)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide the school planning factors as emergency shelter after disaster. The school functions as the evacuation space areas could be classified into the evacuation center, education maintenance, and dwelling. Among these functions, the scopes of our study are limited to the functions of evacuation center and education maintenance. To carry out this purpose, we were comparative analyzed the shelter space problems of Korea and Japan's survey in the existing literatures. In results of our study, the evacuation center's functions are difficult to depending on the disaster types, such as the earthquake, tornado, and hurricane. On the other hand, the education maintenance functions are difficult to deepening on the victims occupied times in the school as emergency shelters. Based on these findings, the Korea school planning as the emergency shelters are desired to reflect that the evacuation's functions based on the disaster type of the damage from storms, and the education maintenance's functions based on the victim's occupied times in school for their safety.

가상현실(VR) 재난안전교육에서 재난영화 내러티브 도입 연구 (A Study On the Narrative of VR Disaster and Safety Education Introduced by Disaster Film Narrative)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 가상현실(VR)을 도입한 재난안전교육에 재난영화의 내러티브 요소를 도입하여 재난안전교육의 교육효과를 강화하고 새로운 방향성을 제시하는 데 있다. VR은 '몰입감', '실재감', '상호작용성', '오락성'의 매체적 특성으로 재난안전교육에 적합한 기술이다. 재난영화의 내러티브는 다양한 재난 이야기를 재난안전교육 소재로 활용할 수 있고, 재난영화의 시나리오 3막구조의 극적 효과를 교육의 내러티브로 활용할 수 있다는 점에서 VR재난안전교육에 활용할 가치가 있다. 이 연구를 위해 이론적 검토뿐 아니라 부산시 '119안전체험관'의 VR체험관의 사례를 실증 분석하였고, 그 결과, 첫째, 극적 카타르시스 효과를 재난안전교육에 활용, 둘째, 이용자의 능동적 참여를 보장하는 '상호작용성' 내러티브 구축, 셋째, '모험게임식 내러티브' 요소의 도입, 넷째, 이용자가 1인 영웅이 되는 영웅형상의 내러티브 도입, 다섯째, 이용자의 다중접속와 집단체험학습 도입을 통해 VR재난안전교육의 교육효과를 극대화하자는 것이 본 연구의 결론이다. 본 연구는 사회적 수요가 급증하는 VR재난안전교육 내러티브 개발에 대한 이론적 검토와 새로운 방향성을 제시했다는 점에서 학술적 의의가 있다.

  • There was heavy rains that happened for 23 days consecutively in 2006. Many regions have suffered because of rains and among them In-Je and Pyung-Chang area are the most suffered areas at that time. I conducted field survey at those two regions. The case of other damaged regions also reviewed in this paper and volunteer activity of volunteer groups is reviewed. I intended to make clear the volunteer activity system through analysing need capacity of volunteers. Main suggestions are as below. In management system, the nexts are discussed. Improving the ability of village headmen and volunteer groups that manage relief stuffs at the first level and cooperating method with companies are discussed. Supporting system for isolated regions and necessity about developing operating manual are suggested. In education system, specialized education for different disaster areas, field orientation education, and training managerial positions are suggested. In supporting system, improving NDMS(National Disaster Management System), computerized program for volunteer management, insurance for volunteers, issuing a confirmation of volunteering activity, securement of emergency communication system, budget for prevention and donation are also suggested.

The effect of fire-safety education on the knowledge and safety competency of college students

  • The purpose of this study was to test the effects of video-based fire safety education among college students on the students' fire safety knowledge and disaster safety awareness and competency. Improvements were found in fire safety knowledge (t = -3.24, p = 0.001), social disaster awareness (t = -2.25, p = 0.025), basic disaster awareness (t = -2.44, p = 0.015), and disaster safety capacity (t = -2.04, p = 0.043). The contents of safety-education materials should be continuously developed. Those materials should be provided to many people, and future research should test the longer-term effects of those educational interventions.

산업재해예방을 위한 산업안전보건교육의 개선 방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Improvement Plan of Industrial Safety and Health Education for Industrial Disaster Prevention)

  • 본 연구는 산업재해예방을 위해 산업안전보건교육의 방안을 개선하기 위해 기초자료를 제공하고자 실시되었다. 대상자는 강원도 소재 5개의 제조업 업체에 근무하는 근로자 167명을 대상으로 하였으며, 자료수집은 2010년 3월 15일부터 4월 15일 까지의 기간 동안에 구조화된 자기기입식 설문지를 이용하였다. 제조업 근로자의 76.6%가 교육장을 가지고 있었으나, 산업안전보건교육은 약 44.3%의 근로자가 현장사무실에서 교육을 받고 있었다. 교육 수단은 대부분 주입식 강의식으로 이루어지고 있었다. 산업안전보건교육은 근로자의 일반적 특성과 직무에 대한 고려 없이 이루어지고 있었다. 제조업의 근로자에게 실시되는 산업안전보건교육의 문제점을 개선하기 위하여 교육은 근로자의 일반적 특성과 직무를 고려한 교육이 실시되어야 한다.

일 지역 대학생의 재난경험과 재난대비에 대한 조사연구 (A Study on Disaster Experience and Preparedness of University Students)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the disaster experience (accidents, education etc) and the concern for disaster preparedness of college students. Methods: This research design was a descriptive study. Data were collected from November 1, 2011 to December 30, 2011 and analyzed by the SPSS PASW statistics 18.0 program. Results: There were statistical significances in major (p<.050), grade(p<.001), and a completed disaster class(p<.001) between general characteristics and concern for disaster preparedness. The major disaster events that occurred from 2003 to 2010 in Korea were the 2007 Taean oil spill (85.4%), the 2003 Daegu subway fire (82.7%), and the 2008 Sungnyemun fire (62.9%). The possible disaster events in Korea were hurricanes, floods, fires (including wildfire), and the shutdown of communication lines. Subjects learned about cardiopulmonary resuscitation (18.2%), first aid for bleeding and fractures (17.8%), a fire drill (14.3%), and an escape drill for an earthquake (14.0%). They wanted to learn the fire drill (11.33%), the escape drill for an earthquake (9.7%), a war drill (9.0%), a disaster confrontation drill on the subway (8.6%), and a fire and explosion evacuation drill (8.4%). Half of subjects were not prepared with emergency supplies for disasters because they thought that a disaster would not occur. Conclusion: It is necessary to develop the disaster educational programs according to subject's demands in Korea.

중학생들의 학교안전교육 실태와 안전분야 지식 및 실천 :「재난안전, 응급처치, 교통안전, 생활안전」 (School safety education status and the awareness and practice of safety among middle school students: 「First aid, disaster safety, traffic safety, and daily life safety」)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to identify the current status of school safety education and the differences in knowledge and practice of middle school students. Methods: A structured questionnaire was distributed to 418 middle school students in J province. The questionnaires consisted of 35 questions on the status of school safety education as well as the four school safety education domains of first aid, disaster safety, traffic safety, and daily life. Data were analyzed using frequency analysis, cross-tabulation analysis, a t-test, analysis of variance, and Pearson's correlations. Results: Awareness regarding the top seven standards for school safety and interest in school safety education were both relatively low. Among all the different kinds of safety accidents, those related to school violence(33.8%) and life safety(24.9%) were experienced the most in school. A more pleasant school life and better peer relationships led to interest in school safety(p=.000)(p=.000), awareness regarding the top seven standards for school safety(p=.022)(p=.009), adoption of coping measures(p=.000)(p=.000), and practice(p=.000)(p=.000) in case of safety accidents(p=.000)(p=.000). Conclusion: To increase awareness regarding the seven standards for school safety education and raise interest in safety education, it is necessary to cultivate experts and actively utilize them and to prepare systematic and continuous school safety education programs.

재난관리기준 이행 활성화 연구 (A Study on Activating Disaster Management Standard Implementation)

  • 재난관리기준은 선언문적인 문서 성격이 강하고 제정 고시 이후 지속적이고 체계적인 교육 홍보 등의 활동이 이루어지지 않아 각 기관 및 단체의 재난관리기준에 대한 인식 부족과 함께 활성화되지 못하고 있다. 재난관리 기관 및 단체에서 재난관련 업무 수행 시 재난관리기준을 적극 활용할 수 있도록 이행활성화 방안이 연구목적이다. 재난관리기준에 대한 세부설명서 보급 및 홍보, 교육 계획 및 교재 개발, 재난관리기준을 근거로 한 평가 인증제도 그리고 재난관리기준에 대한 평가 환류 이후 지속적인 개정관리를 방안으로 제시하였다. 아울러 재난관리 업무를 수행함에 있어 업무 척도로써 활용가능하기에 조직운영 및 법제도 관련 방안도 도출하였다.
