Children with an intellectual disability often demonstrate lack of cooperation during dental treatment and require behavioral management. A child with mild intellectual disability can be managed adequately using restraints and medication. However, in cases of profound intellectual disability, dental treatment under general anesthesia is usually required. In cases where the patient is an intellectually disabled child who has intellectually disabled parents, it is difficult to evaluate the patient's preoperative condition and to obtain consent for treatment under general anesthesia. Furthermore, they are unable to respond to emergencies after treatment. Therefore, dental treatment should be performed under general anesthesia with hospitalization for children with an intellectual disability. This case presents the dental treatment of an intellectually disabled child, who has intellectually disabled parents, and who required general anesthesia and hospitalization.

Results : Among general information, parenting stress of parents had significant correlation with the degree of disability and correlation with the lower level 2 of Parenting Stress Index. The more sensory processing disability was increased, the more parenting stress was increased. Parenting stress showed the significant correlation with movement sensitivity area and under-responsiveness/behaivor area seeking specific stimulation among sensory processing areas and had significant correlation with tactile sensitivity and auditory filtering. Sensory processing areas which affect the most the Parenting Stress were movement sensitivity and under-responsiveness/behaivor area seeking the specific behavior among sensory control disabilities. Conclusion : The parenting stress of parents with the disabled children had the correlation with sensory processing ability. The difficulty of sensory processing increased the parenting stress. Hence, in order to improve children's sensory processing ability, the appropriately coping program should be developed and the appropriate intervention for improvement of sensory processing ability of children will be necessary.
This study aims to identify parents' recognition of school-enterprise convergence by type of disability. To this end, it analyzes 150 parents with children attending special school in region D, K, and S. As a result, first, parents preferred their children's vocational ability development, employment rate improvement, and manufacturing and supplying method of goods requested by industrial bodies in the community the most and hoped to complete educational courses for the professional education of a job that they wanted to learn and learn the basic ability education for the job. Second, they preferred participation in practical hours and after-school activities and hoped all 2nd and 3rd high school graders to be selected if they wanted, and as compensation for them, wanted appropriate adjustment of class hours or tasks. This suggests that active participation in classes and selection of various types of business seem to be necessary.

The purposes of this study were to identify the relationship between parent and child with chronic illness and developmental disability, and to review the strategy for improvement of their relationship. The effects of chronic illness and developmental disability is that the child has delayed growth and development, and his(her) parent has sadness, guilty feeling, anxiety, grief, disappointment, low self-esteem, anger and resentment. Chronic illness and developmental disability also have a negative effect to the parental marital relationship. The reaction of parent and child varies in age of onset, a developmental transition period, crisis and parent-child relationship. Through this study, I propose that parent-child relationship could be improved by touch, communication between them and education for parents.

The data was analyzed by descriptive statistics, pearson correlation, and multiple regression analysis using SPSS 24.0. The results of the study are as follows: First, the correlation analysis showed statistically significant correlations among parental stress, social support and depression. Second, the simple regression analysis showed the direct effect of parental stress on depression. Third, the multiple regression analysis showed the mediating effect of social support on the relationship between parental stress and depression. This study has been performed to review pre-school children's needs for privacy within normal residential space. In this study, there were three circumstances in which children need to stay alone without being interrupted by their parents; First, they strongly want to be stay quiet until relieving their anger or fear, shortly after disciplined and impugned by their parents. Second, infant children need to obtain their own territory in order to demonstrate ownership and dignity in their sley space. Third, there are also special circumstances of privacy needs among families with intrusive parents such as alcoholics and heavy smokers, or for the children of disability. In Korea, it is presumed that more than 60 percent the pre-school children aging three to six are in deficit of privacy for relieving their emotional disturbance, but no research has been documented for the case of disabled or interrupted children. Therefore in this study, it was primarily proposed that empirical studies need to be peformed among Korean preschoolers, in order to evaluate privacy needs in the perspectives of ordinary family lives, individual household behaviors, and special conditions of disability or offensive family members.
