National Records Designation System is designed to protect valuable civilian records from loss or damage. It also intends that government administrates important civilian records to raise public concerns civilian records and to foster archival culture in Korea. This study investigates the current states of service fo the designated record through the web page of National Archive of Korea. Major findings are as follows. First, the information of designated records is dispersed in two web pages by the National Archive of Korea, an introductive web page of every collection in the National Archive of Korea and a web page of designated record service. Second, the web page of designated record service provides information of designated records only at collection level, so it is not easy for users to understand the contents of the records. In order to improve the service for the designated record service of the National Archive of Korea, this study proposed the unification of dispersed web pages to provide information of the designated records consistently. It also suggested a facet based directory service and word cloud service to give access to the contents of each designated record collection. The facet based directory and word cloud service will help users to understand the designated records in more detail.

The Naming Service is central to most common object request broker architecture(CORBA) applications. It serves as a directory for CORBA objects-the building blocks of CORBA applications. As the Windows computing environment is disseminated, the performance features of the existing CORBA is becoming of great interest. Thus, in this paper, we intend to examine some performance features of three commercially-available Naming Service implementations of CORBA in strictly Windows (NT and 98) environment.

For real-time social networking service, mobile interaction in a usable-unified-ubiquitous (U3) web service was studied. Both as a convenient mobile HCI for real-time social networks and as indexing keys to metadata information in ubiquitous web service, the multi-lingual single-character domain names (e.g. 김.net, 이.net, 가.net, ㄱ.net, ㄴ.net, ㅎ.net, ㅏ.net, ㅔ.net, ㄱ.com, ㅎ.com) are convenient mobile interfaces when searching for social information and registering information. We introduce the sketched design goals and experience of mobile interaction in Korea, Japan and China, with the implementation of real-time social networking service as an example of U3 Web service. We also introduce the possibility of extending the application to the metadata directory service in IP-USN (IP-based Ubiquitous Sensor Network) for a unified information management in the service of social networking and sensor networking.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the information service and the design of the information system of LG Science Land and NSDL which was designed as Integrated Information System in Science Digital Library for youth. After that, the requirement and inclination of the system user was analyzed through on-line questionnaire and finally the Subjective-Oriented Directory System was modified in detail as improvement issue of the system. In this paper, proposes Kerberos certification mechanism that improve certification service of PKINIT base that announce in IETF CAT Working Group. Bid to certificate other realm because search position of outside realm through DNS and apply X.509 directory certification system, acquire public key from DNS server by chain (CertPath) between realms by certification and Key exchange way that provide service between realms applying X.509, DS/DNS of PKINIT base. In order to provide regional services, Certification and key exchange between realms use Kerberos symmetric method and Session connection used Directory service to connection X.509 is designed using an asymmetric method. By efficient TGT (Ticket Granting Ticket) exchange and reusability of ticket, A Design of Kerberos system that have effect and simplification of certification formality that reduce overload on communication.

This study aims to identify the status of the classification retrieval operation by investigating and analyzing the classification retrieval related to the books in the university libraries. The Investigation concentrated on whether the classification retrieval service is provided, Access Method and classification retrieval level. The data was collected from 97 libraries where URL access was available during the period of survey in 100 libraries selected by the systematic sampling. As a result, while $92.8\%$ of 97 libraries provided the classification retrieval service, $52.2\%$ of it enabled the access to classification retrieval service only by the classification number and $47.8\%$ by classification number and classification directory. Consequently, it was found that the retrieval environment in the libraries where the access was enabled only by classification number should be urgently improved for the activation of classification retrieval.

This study researched into the method that allows only the certified user and computational engineer to possibly use network resources and computing resources by implementing the system of the intensified certification and security based on LDAP(Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) directory service, that copes with incapacitation in security program due to making the security program forcibly installed, and that can correctly track down the industrial-technology exporter along with applying the user-based security policy through inter-working with the existing method for the protection of industrial technology. Through this study, the intensified method for the protection of industrial technology can be embodied by implementing the integrated infra system through strengthening the existing system of managing the protection of industrial technology, and through supplementing vulnerability to the method for the protection of industrial technology.

In Network Environment, Kerberos certification mechanism to require Kerberos server in other area unconditionally belief. Also, Kerberos server in cooperation area must be share server of other area and secret key. To solve these two problems, this paper proposed safe security mechanism of doing to ably IETF CAT's PKINIT/PKCROSS a1gorithm with Public Key Infrastructure and use Directory System and service between realms do trust and prove each Kerberos trust center base. Also, Although Kerberos server of each area must be foreknowing each server's secret key and public key, Obtain through Trust center and acquire each area's public key and common symmetric key, Application server excluded process that must register key in Key Distribution Center.

In present web service structure, the service begins when supplier register the information of its service to UDDI(Universal Description Discovery and Integration). When user searches service directory in UDDI, the position of service is transmitted to it. And then, user requests WSDL(Web Service Description Language) to the supplier. When WSDL is delivered to user, user requests the service according to WSDL. This thesis simplifies this web service process. This makes WSDL owned by supplier stored to WSDLBASE when supplier register its service. Also this makes it possible that user search the service and receives WSDL.

인터넷에서 제공되는 각종 서비스들의 목록으로 구성되는 공개되고 공유되는 디렉토리 시스템과 이들로 구성된 네트워크를 통하여 정보를 검색할 수 있는 환경을 제안하여, 기존의 인터넷 검색도구들이 가지고 있는 검색의 비효율성과 개인정보 침해의 단점을 보완하며, 정보의 생산자가 능동적으로 정보를 제공함으로써 정보 공유의 목적을 이루는 시스템을 설계한다.
