This study identified the health, academic attainment, violence and abuse factors on predicting the conduct development and emotional symptoms in 'looked after children' placement. A sample of 1,543 children was interviewed regarding emotional and behavioral symptoms and risk factors. Logistic regression was used to assess whether selected variables predicted emotional and behavioral symptoms in 'looked after children'. All placement, health, academic, violence, and abuse factors differentiated behavioral and emotional symptom differences according to selected variables. Binary logistic regression indictors of conduct behavior symptom among 'looked after children', included gender, age, placement, health, violence, and abuse. Placement, health, reading ability, violence, and witnessing domestic violence further predicted emotional and behavioral symptoms. These findings highlight multidimensional approaches to address various vulnerability indicators that have a direct application to prevention and intervention efforts to designed for emotional and behavioral problems among children in public care.

In this study, we suggest a new segmentation algorithm for processing airborne laser point cloud data which is more memory efficient and faster than previous approaches. The main principle is the reading of data points along a scan line and their direct classification into homogeneous groups as a single process. The results of our experiments demonstrate that the algorithm runs faster and is more memory efficient than previous approaches. Moreover, the segmentation accuracy is generally acceptable.

4-전극 측정 용기와 정전위 전자회로를 써서 직독식 전기전도도 측정장치를 고안하여 KCl, HCl등 전해질 용액의 전기전도도를 측정하였다. 이 장치는 상용되고 있는 브릿지회로와 2-전극 용기를 쓰는 방법에서 당면하는 어려운 문제들, 특히 전극에서의 전기 이중층의 존재와 파라디임피던스 등으로 나타나는 전기화학적으로 복잡한 성질들로 인한 문제들을 피하여 정밀하고 간편한 측정에 쓰이도록 만들었다.

A newly developed contact angle measurement instrument by laser beam projection allows for rapid and direct determination of contact angles. The instrument may have a possibility to characterize newly developed nano-fibers. When the laser beam impinges on an edge of an interface of liquid and solid, projected beam were split across and made two straight lines on a tangent screen. From the result, it could measure the contact angle directly by reading the angle between two split beams. The purpose of this study was to prove reliability and reproducibility of the contact angle measurement instrument by laser beam projection compare to the conventional one by microscope through the comparative experiment and questionnaire. Test samples were selected by consideration of hydrophilic and hydrophobic, such as nylon 6 and polypropylene, respectively. The laser contact angle measurement has accurate, fast and convenient method to measure contact angle, and it can be a unique method to characterize nano-fibers.

In the determination of organic solvents in workplaces direct reading tube method have been used in Korea for decades. But this method is less accurate and couldn't measure TWA(Time Weighted Average) for 8 hours. Authors tried to detect Toluene concentration in S factory by using charcoal tube according to NIOSH method. The concentration was 158.8ppm. We propose this charcoal tube method should be substituted to get accurate results and to protect employee in workplaces related with solvents.

블루투스는 저전력으로 근거리상의 장치들을 무선으로 연결하여 통신하는 기술이다. 본 논문은 이러한 블루투스를 이용하여 Mepg-4 AVC/H.264방식으로 전송하여 재생할 수 있는 프로그램의 설계와 구현에 대해서 설명한다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 동영상 플레이어는 JM기반으로 Bluetooth로 미디어 스트림을 읽어올 수 있게 기능을 추가하고 화면에 출력하기 위하여 SDL(Simple DirectMedia Layer)를 사용하였다. JM은 Mpeg-4 AVC/H.264방식의 동영상을 파일에서 읽어와 YUV420 형식의 파일로 출력을 해주는 프로그램이다.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to identify the causes of odors generated in traditional markets and to suggest appropriate application technologies to solve them. Research design, data and methodology: In order to achieve the purpose of this study, complex malodors, TVOC, and hydrogen sulfide were measured three times at each point in Wonju-city, Gangwon-do using direct-reading odor measuring equipment in Joong-ang Traditional Market's Korean beef Alley, Sundae Alley, and Joong-ang Citizens Traditional Market. Therefore, the average value was compared with the emission standard and analyzed. Results: As a result of the study, complex malodors exceeded the emission standards at all points, and hydrogen sulfide exceeded the emission standards at all except for one point. Conclusions: The odor generated in the traditional market has various causes and low concentration, so it is necessary to reduce the odor by using an appropriate technology.

This paper examines the meaning and significance of the rebirths narrated in Sylvia Plath's "Lady Lazarus." While the previous readings of the poem have regarded the speaker's rebirth as a single event, this paper aims to understand its plurality and the underlying problem of language and sound by listening to the poet's own reading of the poem. I argue first that the sound structure of the poem can be characterized by the poet's unique employment of vowel sounds. Drawing upon Plath's another poem entitled "Morning Song" and Julia Kristeva's concept of the chora, I contend that the poet's vowels signal her desire for regression to the pre-Oedipal space where sound and body are in direct contact without the interference of language. It is my conclusion that the rebirths in "Lady Lazarus" dramatize the poet's ongoing struggle to bypass the symbolic language in order to make her body heard.

본 연구의 목적은 법학전문도서관의 기존사례 분석을 통하여 공간구성 특성을 조사, 규정하고 교육이념에 부응하는 법학전문도서관 특성을 반영한 계획안의 제시함으로서 법학전문도서관의 계획요소 및 디자인을 제안하고자 하였다. 법학도서관의 공간구성특성을 요약하면 (1) 접근성을 고려한 진입층의 공간구성 (2) 열람공간 이용자 중심의 열람실 공간구성 (3) 교육 및 연구 공간과 열람실의 연계성을 고려한 공간 구성으로 법학도서관의 특성을 규정할 수 있다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 한 법학도서관 설계 시 다음과 같은 디자인 쟁점사항을 도출하였다. 진입층 공간구성은 교육의 장소로서의 이용행태, 접근성과 연계성의 측면을 고려하여 공용공간과 함께 열람공간을 계획하여야 한다. 이용자 중심의 열람실과 서고의 공간구성이 계획되기 위한 방법으로는 일반열람실 또는 지정 도서실이 진입공간과 직접 연계되는 계획이 이루어 져야 된다. 교육 및 연구 공간과 열람실이 유기적으로 연결되어야 함에 따라서 코어를 중심으로 교육 및 연구 공간과 열람실을 수직적으로 연계하여 열람실과 교육 연구 공간의 연계성을 높이는 동시에 외부에서의 접근성도 고려한 계획이 되어야한다.

At its thirty-ninth session(New York, 19 June - 7 July 2006), United Nations Commission on International Trade Law(hereinafter referred to as the Commission) agreed to give priority to the topic of revising the UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules. From the forty-fifth through the forty-seventh session, the Working Group checked various issues based on the draft revised version of the UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules prepared by the Secretariat. At its forty-eighth session, the Working Group is going to finish its first reading of articles 38 to 41 of the draft revised version of the UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules, and to commence its second reading of the draft revised version of UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules. Korea is keen on enticing foreign direct investment into its territory. From the 1960s, Korea has concluded more than 80 BITs. Korea is making efforts to conclude FTAs with its trading partners. As of January, 2008, 3 FTAs have taken into effect with respect to Korea. According to provisions on dispute settlement found in such BITs and FTAs involving Korea, the Rules can be chosen for Investor-State Arbitration. Furthermore, the Rules is followed by the arbitration rules for domestic and international arbitrations administered by the Korean Commercial Arbitration Board. If the Commission adopts the revised version of UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules, the Rules will be able to give impact on the arbitration law and practice around the world of arbitration. That is the reason why we should keep attention to the development of the deliberations of the Working Group.
