Miniaturization is the central theme in modern fabrication technology. Many of the components used in modem products are becoming smaller and smaller. The direct write FIB technology has several advantages over contemporary micromachining technology, including better feature resolution with low lateral scattering and capability of mastless fabrication. Therefore, the application of focused ion beam(FIB) technology in micro fabrication has become increasingly popular. In recent model of FIB, however the feeding system has been a very coarse resolution of about a few ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$. It is not unsuitable to the sputtering and the deposition to make the high-precision structure in micro or macro scale. Our research is the development of nano stage of 200mm strokes and l0nm resolutions. Also, this stage should be effectively operating in ultra high vacuum of about 1$\times$10$^{-5}$ pa. This paper presents the concept of nano stages and the discussion of the material treatment for ultra tush vacuum.

In this investigation, conductivity of conductive inks was measured. A particular attention has been given to the effect of metal powders with various conductivity on the overall conductivity of the bulk ink. The conductivity of various solutions simulating conductive inks consisting of copper and silver was measured and the results have been discussed in relation to various applications of conductive inks in practice. A conductivity model simulating systems consisting of various materials has been introduced and the results were discussed. Materials of good conductivity are adversely affected by mixing with materials of poor conductivity simply through serial connection. However, parallel connection has rather little effect on the overall conductivity. The practical implication of various mixtures of materials on conductive inks has been discussed.

A micro-conductive pattern was fabricated on an insulating substrate ($SiO_2$) surface using a laser direct writing method. In the LIFT process, when the laser beam irradiates a thin metal film, the photon energy is absorbed by the film and converted to thermal energy, and the thermal decomposition reaction produced by the resulting heat conduction forms a deposit on the substrate. The resistivity of the micro-electrodes deposited through LIFT process with and without polymer coating was measured. The results showed that the electric conductivity of the micro-pattern and micro-structure can be increased approximatly two times when the deposited micropattern is fabricated through a LIFT process with a polymer coating, compared to the case without a polymer coating.

This paper report on the design and implementation of a 9.6kbps DSSS CDMA modem for a medium speed wireless link. The proposed modem provides a general purpose I/O interface with a microprocessor. The I/O interface consists of 8-bit data bus, chip enable, read/write, and interrupt pins. In transmit block, the 8-bit data delivered from the I/O interface buffer is converted to 9.6kbps serial data, which are spreaded into 76.8kcps with 8-bit PN code generated inside the modem by direct sequence method. An 8-bit training sequence is preceded in the data frame for data synchronization in receiver. In receiver block the PN code is synchronized from the received data spreaded to 76.8kcps and find the data timing from the 8-bit training sequence. We have used the Early-and-Late integration method. The modem has been implemented and verified using a Xilix FPGA board and has been fabricated as an ASIC CHIP through Hynir $0.25{\mu}m$ CMOS. The multiple accessing method is DSSS CDMA.

The generation of fine relics of suspensions is a significant interest as it holds the key to the fabrication of electronic devices. These processes offer opportunities for miniaturization of multilayer circuits, for production of functionally graded materials, ordered composites and far small complex-shaped components. Some novel printing methods of depositing ceramic and metal droplets were suggested in recent years. In an electro-hydrodynamic printing, the metallic capillary nozzle can be raised to several kilovolts with respect to the infinite ground plate or pin-type electrode positioned a few millimeters from the nozzle tip. Depending on the electrical and physical properties of the liquid, for a given geometry, it Is possible to generate droplets in any one of three modes, dripping, cone-jet and multi-jet. In this experiment, an alumina suspension flowing through a nozzle was subjected to electro-hydrodynamic printing using pin-type electrodes in the cone-jet mode at different applied voltages. The pin-type electrodes of 1, 100, 1000${\mu}m$ in diameter were used to form fine ceramic patterns onto the substrates. Various feature sizes with applied voltages and electrode diameters were measured. The feature sizes increased with the electrode diameter and applied voltages. The feature size was as fine as $30 {\mu}m$.

The generation of fine relics of inorganic and metallic materials from precursor suspensions is of significant current interest as it holds the key to the fabrication of display and printed circuit board. Some novel printing methods depositing ceramic particles have been suggested in recent years. When a conducting liquid is supplied to a capillary nozzle at a low flow rate and when the interface between air and the liquid is charged to a sufficiently high electrical potential, the liquid meniscus takes the form of a stable cone, whose apex emits a microscopic jet. This is called as a cone-jet mode. In our experiments, an alumina particles flowing through a nozzle were subjected to electro-hydrodynamic printing in the cone-jet mode. The pattern of 'YONSEI' characters was tested at $10 {\mu}l/min$ of alumina ink flow rate and different applied voltages. At an applied voltage of 6 kV, feature size was in the range of $250 {\mu}m.$
The Gen-Z protocol is a memory semantic protocol between the memory and CPU used in computer architectures with large memory pools. This study presents the implementation of the Gen-Z hardware system configured using Gen-Z specification 1.0 and reports its performance. A hardware prototype of a DDR4 Gen-Z memory pool with an optimized character, a block device driver, and a file system for the Gen-Z hardware was designed. The Gen-Z IP was targeted to the FPGA, and a 512 GB Gen-Z memory pool was configured on an ×86 server. In the experiments, the latency and throughput of the Gen-Z memory were measured and compared with those of the local memory, SATA SSD, and NVMe using character or block device interfaces. The Gen-Z hardware exhibited superior throughput and latency performance compared with SATA SSD and NVMe at block sizes under 4 kB. The MySQL and File IO benchmark of Gen-Z showed good write performance in all block sizes and threads. Besides, it showed low latency in RocksDB's fillseq dbbench using the ext4 direct access filesystem.
Solution-based, direct-write patterning by an automated, computer-controlled, inkjet technique is of particular interest in a wide variety of industrial fields. We report the construction of three-dimensional (3D), micro-patterned structures by polymer inkjet printing. A piezoelectric, drop-on-demand (DOD) inkjet printing system and a common polymer, PVA (poly(vinyl alcohol)), were explored for 3D construction. After a systematic preliminary study with different solvent systems, a mixture of water and DMSO was chosen as an appropriate solvent for PVA inks. The use of water as a single solvent resulted in frequent PVA clogging when the nozzles were undisturbed. Among the tested polymer ink compositions, the PVA inks in a water/DMSO mixture (4/1 v/v) with concentrations of 3 to 5 g/dL proved to be appropriate for piezoelectric DOD inkjet printing because they were well within the proper viscosity and surface tension range. When a dot was printed, the so-called 'coffee-ring effect' was significant, but its appearance was not prominent in line printing. The optimal polymer inkjet printing process was repeated slice after slice up to 200 times, which produced a well-defined, 3 D micro-patterned surface. The overall results implied that piezoelectric DOD polymer inkjet printing could be a powerful, solid-freeform, fabrication technology to create a controlled 3D architecture.
Big data refers to the data that cannot be processes with conventional contemporary data technologies. As smart devices and social network services produces vast amount of data, big data attracts much attention from researchers. There are strong demands form governments and industries for bib data as it can create new values by drawing business insights from data. Since various new technologies to process big data introduced, academic communities also show much interest to the big data domain. A notable advance related to the big data technology has been in various fields. Big data technology makes it possible to access, collect, and save individual's personal data. These technologies enable the analysis of huge amounts of data with lower cost and less time, which is impossible to achieve with traditional methods. It even detects personal information that people do not want to open. Therefore, people using information technology such as the Internet or online services have some level of privacy concerns, and such feelings can hinder continued use of information systems. For example, SNS offers various benefits, but users are sometimes highly exposed to privacy intrusions because they write too much personal information on it. Even though users post their personal information on the Internet by themselves, the data sometimes is not under control of the users. Once the private data is posed on the Internet, it can be transferred to anywhere by a few clicks, and can be abused to create fake identity. In this way, privacy intrusion happens. This study aims to investigate how perceived personal information overload in SNS affects user's risk perception and information privacy concerns. Also, it examines the relationship between the concerns and user resistance behavior. A survey approach and structural equation modeling method are employed for data collection and analysis. This study contributes meaningful insights for academic researchers and policy makers who are planning to develop guidelines for privacy protection. The study shows that information overload on the social network services can bring the significant increase of users' perceived level of privacy risks. In turn, the perceived privacy risks leads to the increased level of privacy concerns. IF privacy concerns increase, it can affect users to from a negative or resistant attitude toward system use. The resistance attitude may lead users to discontinue the use of social network services. Furthermore, information overload is mediated by perceived risks to affect privacy concerns rather than has direct influence on perceived risk. It implies that resistance to the system use can be diminished by reducing perceived risks of users. Given that users' resistant behavior become salient when they have high privacy concerns, the measures to alleviate users' privacy concerns should be conceived. This study makes academic contribution of integrating traditional information overload theory and user resistance theory to investigate perceived privacy concerns in current IS contexts. There is little big data research which examined the technology with empirical and behavioral approach, as the research topic has just emerged. It also makes practical contributions. Information overload connects to the increased level of perceived privacy risks, and discontinued use of the information system. To keep users from departing the system, organizations should develop a system in which private data is controlled and managed with ease. This study suggests that actions to lower the level of perceived risks and privacy concerns should be taken for information systems continuance.
